Have any of you been through this with your dog? The dog was fine all yesterday, my wife took him for a walk in the evening then went out to dinner with a friend. When I came home he was unable to get up from the floor doing the Katherine Hepburn thing with his head unable to focus his eyes. Hundreds of dollars later at the emergency vet he was diagnosed as stoned, given a huge shot of water and instructed to let him sleep it off for 24 hours. It’s terrifying. Any words of wisdom from those who have been through it?

Does anyone have any experience with Carvana? Our current lease is ending and we are going with another car company for the next vehicle. We’ve got to pay (!!) to turn our low mileage, well maintained, difficult to get car in, which is super annoying. Based upon the information I entered we’d make over $6,000 by paying off our lease and then selling to Carvana, but I don’t want to do that and then find that after we’ve gone through that process and had the title updated that Carvana’s estimate is suddenly much lower. Is it a bait and switch?

I have this thing and the dress code is business/cocktail. Now I’m pretty secure that my business attire is on point. And I know what cocktail attire is although I don’t have anything recent in that area and I’d need to get something new. But the nexus of the two styles is a mystery to me.

My wife thinks I should just go in one of my existing business outfits (skirt suit or dress with jacket) I don’t think that is adequate. We both agree that it would not be appropriate to dress like I were going to a wedding.

I’m sure I‘ll get a fair number of flame responses to laugh at, but any serious ideas are also very much appreciated.
