Questions for DL lawyers post Sharia Court ruling
1) if a state has no exception to save the life of the mother, but does have a stand your ground law, could that be used instead for the same purpose in say an ectopic pregnancy?
2) in heartbeat law states, does it matter if the heart stops beating?
3) in cases where the brain fails to develop a cerebral cortex can the fetus be declared dead and removed from the life support of the womb?

In all three cases, the mother shall be executed and an autopsy will determine if she committed ex post facto abortion or not.
It's what the Founders intended.

I’m not a lawyer but I am wondering what kind of documents will be needed to declare a fetus dead especially one before 25 weeks, will a death certificate be required even though it was never a live birth?
My SIL had her fetus die in utero around the 7-8 month mark and they had her scheduled for an induced labor and the fetus was stillborn.

OP, you know what's stupid about you using "Sharia Law"? Sharia Law itself actually makes exceptions for the life of the mother and the mental state of the mother - and that includes Saudi Arabia.
This would Christian fanaticism all its own.

R3 point taken. All Abrahamic religions traditionally allow abortions at least in some cases. The anti-abortion movement is really a post 1850 western development.

It looks like Oklahoma’s abortion law which outlaws IUDS and birth control pills is going to give the court the opportunity to overturn or affirm Griswold soon.
