I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about

I had created a poll R1 that had had that answer, but I must have done something that it didn’t post. I am beginning to think there are fewer nyc elder gays on this thread than I imagined.

Er on DataLounge, clearly I am the only one in this thread

Beanie in Funny Girl belongs at the Westbury Music Fair and not on broadway. She’s miscast. Jane Lynch is miscast. Ramin Noodles is too bland even for Nick. It’s a show that should not be revived. The dreadful West End production from a few seasons ago proved that.

R4 you make a great R1.

That's being too kind

Obviously there are DLers here who simply don't like theatre.

I have tickets to see The Music Man in a few weeks, but I have no plans to go to any other Live Theater until after the mask mandate is over. I got the Music Man tickets two and a half years ago. I've been to see a few Broadway shows and two 90 minute plays on Broadway, but the idea of sitting for close to three hours in a theater wearing a mask doesn't interest me at the moment. Plus with all of the woke plays, entertainment is really lacking in life theater. Not going to waste my time with that. However, if I do get a chance to see Funny Girl, I will definitely go, but not until everything settles down.

Oh hunny, that is WAY too toothy a smile. She makes me nervous and I’m sure a third of the budget is set aside for her dentist!

Beano isn’t even a Lainie Kazan level talent. The Starks are rolling over in their graves.

R11, Agreed, Even in that little clip of her saying, "Hello gorgeous," she shows almost no conviction. It's as if she's reciting her words rather than conveying intense feelings. Does she ever properly emote? Eyes light up?

Well, r12, Barbra does own the line...along with everything else about the role.
