I was going to agree with R3, but realized you said 8 days, but €200 for 4 people for 8 days is not much; assuming good service, I would double the amount to €50/day or €400 -- doesn't seem a huge sum (or a huge cost per person) for 8 days. I travel a lot, and will freely tip as a stupid American in some of the more impoverished/underemployed countries: Argentina, Brazil, India… even Spain and Portugal.

But when it comes to European countries, I try to come correct with the gratuity. ESPECIALLY the UK! They almost weaponize what we think of as graciousness and generosity to take “offence”.

We don't tip here in Norway as people here earn a living wage.
