Barry Livingston on working with William Frawley on My Three Sons
Frawley was a foul-mouthed drunk, and the Livingston brothers were charged with making sure he got back to the set after “lunch.”
Despite this, Livingston seems to have had a lot of affection for him.

I’m listening to Laura Nyro’s Mother’s Spiritual album and wondering what the lesbian experience was like back then. Gay men were dying en masse, but lesbians were not at risk for contracting HIV/AIDS. I’m imagining earth mother lesbian separatists immersed in Wicca and listening to female folk bands. Tina Turner: The post-Ike, pre-comeback years (1977-1984)
This period of Tina’s career fascinates me. She made her living performing on the cabaret/hotel circuit (occasionally touring overseas) and occasionally appeared on various talk shows. She released two albums during this time, Rough (1978) and Love Explosion (1980), both of which bombed, resulting in her being dropped by her record label.
Lots of live footage of her performances are fortunately available on YouTube.
She experimented with a lot of different musical styles. Here she is covering Barbra Streisand on a TV show in 1977. Not long at all after she left Ike.

Dad and son share cute story of how they came out to each other
No, this isn’t the plot of the latest Chi Chi LaRue film. Although the dad does bear a striking resemblance to Chi Chi.
The son says he “sort of knew” before his dad told him. No shit. See comment above about Dad looking like Chi Chi LaRue.

Missing: Christopher and Lisa Zaharias
This case is fascinating. Their mother took off with them in 1987. Authorities have almost caught up with the mother on a number of occasions, and it appears that her family is helping her.
The kids are in their 30s now and may have no idea who they are.
