Many effeminate men think they need to trans themselves to fit into society. They are alienated, not only by their family and friends, but also society as a whole. Society looks down on non-masculine men. Heck, our own community does too. All the vitriol here towards effeminate men is NOT helping. If anything it just causes more guys to think they need to transition. If effeminate men were accepted this wouldn't be happening. And no, nobody is saying you need to fuck them if you're not attracted to them, but you need to accept them for who they are.

Datalounge should curb these homophobic trolls. What surgery is there for a limp wrist and a lisp? Haha.

Effeminate men are fine just the way they are, stop trying to change or modify them. I know there are some who feel threatened in their heads by these sweet natured fem types, but you numbskulls have to find a way to move on from it. If you don't like them or not interested in them, that's fine. Then move on like a mature intelligent rational thinking human being, why all the animosity? People are who they are, you don't have to like it or agree with it. People have a right to be themselves and be left alone. Although I am not attracted to nonmasculine guys, and tend not to identify with them, I have come to understand that most are innately the way they are. I acknowledge that I’m often annoyed by flamboyant or campy men, but people come in different flavors. Additionally, I have learned how difficult it is to be an effeminate man in this world, and I have a lot of sympathy for them. They often have suffered immense persecution and ridicule

While they are not my cup of tea sexually, there is nothing wrong with such guys and they don't need to be transed no matter how in that is right now.

My problem is they are hard for me to detect. With effeminate gay men it’s so easy, and they flirt with me all the time, and I can tell how into me they are. I love the attention from effeminate gay men.

Of course they are fine the way they are. God forbid we should all be exactly alike. The whole idea that effeminate men are “not true men” is rooted in a deep misogyny and hatred of women that goes back centuries.

“gender critical” and rad fems have been claiming for years now that they are “transing the gay away”, yet back here in reality there’s no shortage of gay men, effeminate men and gender non-conforming men.

Some fems actually enjoy the contrast between them and 'real men' -- it gives erotic charge. I doubt very many fem gays think of themselves as women: they're just effeminate gay men. And effeminacy is on a spectrum, for sure, with different manifestations. I guess the one thing it all has in common is that it is in some sense visible or obvious.
