Ben recently came up on the Deuxmoi subreddit. That would be hilarious if Jessica Biel cheated on Justin with Ben. He certainly seemed interested in her.

After saying that it wasn’t the most difficult thing in the world to be acting besotted with a talented, gorgeous actress, he answered the interviewer’s remark about having to ‘deal with her boyfriend Justin Timberlake’, he said ‘He came on set one day, but I think any threat he may have felt about his girlfriend being in a foreign country and starring in a romantic film were immediately dissipated when he saw we were filming a dance scene.’ Went on to say how awful he was at dancing (yep heard that before) and that JT would absolutely ’take him down’ in a dance-off.

I think he definitely had a crush on her, but was it returned? Not so sure about that. BB was looking particularly young and gangly in that film, and I think Biel likes ‘em a little bit rough round the edges, else why be with JT? Another regret of BB’s he’s voiced before - the girls always want a bad boy, and he isn’t. Allegedly.

I‘d think he‘d like a type like Jessica‘s character in a way, but probably feels more at ease with the lesser animals.

R3 they awkwardly discuss the infatuation over her here around min 3 too. It’s a bit weird they didn’t seem to do any press together for it, but maybe that was just a scheduling issue. She’s one of the few of his female costars he hasn’t seemed to remain friends with.

The evidence is very thin and basically consists of Ben possibly laughing in the background of Camilla’s story the day of the Euro Cup final along with tagging William in that story, who she may or may not only know through Ben. Plus photographic evidence of her at what appears to be a beach in Malibu taken at a different time of day than when she posted it, with the link back to Ben being than he also posted a pic from A beach yesterday. Not great. Plus a slight link to Harry Burns due to the fact they have been friends for a very long time. If we had good evidence we wouldn’t need a confirmation sign from him but that’s where we are right now

All of which is to say that the guy has had far too much time on his hands, and no stable relationship (or album, or smaller acting gigs) to show for it as the countdown to 40 gets louder & louder. Meanwhile, Matthew Goode has ~6 projects getting ready to roll out, with another series filming & Discovery of Witches S3 due to resume. Why does BB act so infrequently?!?

If he doesn’t keep a full time publicist that’s seeking out opportunities for him then he’s probably just doing what the studio requires plus things that come up organically like someone asking him to be on their podcast. When you are contracted for multi-season shows like punisher and S&B it can be hard to find the right role that will also fit into the show’s schedule since that’s your first obligation. He’s not necessarily big enough yet that another movie would move their schedule around to accommodate having him in it, but he’s also not really taking the types of minor roles some of his other cast mates are doing in between seasons where they don’t have to be on set all the time like the lead actors. I’m not convinced he actually wants to be a family man. He has said before I think in the Mt Wolf or some other live that he relies on this job to take him on adventures and away from home and he was struggling without that, so as much as he may seem like a homebody when he’s at home, that doesn’t strike me as someone who wants to settle down. He also talked about his time in Budapest as realizing this is where he belonged so I think he likes the long international shoots away from home. But maybe I’m just projecting my own experiences on him because I used to think I wanted kids until I got a job that takes me all over the world and realized I prefer relationships where I’m not with the person 100% of the time which doesn’t really work with kids. Maybe I would feel differently by the time I’m 40 but doubtful
