Welp, so far the only thing to report on is that he and JH are back to liking each other’s posts with a quickness. Like Sylvia, I’d like to be done with talking about her and S&B, but he’s not giving us much to go on here.

Well I can't call you out by "name" OP, but I humbly thank you. (And I still thank you Syl. The appreciation AND commiseration is strong after all these years! Don't be a stranger too long..)

BTW, why is his upper lip all splotchily discolored in his new pic??? Just weird pixelation? Or are "mini lip hickies" a thing I've been missing out on???

So I know there was some talk last thread about him liking exes posts but… are do we think he and JH have really broken up whatever relationship they were in? Don’t get be wrong, I’d be over the moon, but just don’t want to get my hopes up.

R4 First of all, don't ever get your hopes up that Ben Barnes would do something smart. First rule of fight club and all..

Second, things had quieted down a bit "between them," but then just a few days ago, he started liking every post again, and liked them very, VERY quickly each time. So either it was coincidence every time, or his mentally damaged brain just stalks her IG throughout the day hoping for crumbs to fuel his endorphin addiction, or he turned notifications back on for her. What does that mean? Definitively? Nothing. Maybe Ben just likes fucking with everybody cause he's a goddamn sociopath.

Keep in mind, the liking stopped when the rumors started that The Ho and Seacrest got back together. And it started up again With. A. Vengeance. the moment the rumors came out that Seacrest actually had a new SUPER young girlfriend. (Cause clearly Los Angeles causes mental damage to everyone living there.. ) Again, what does that mean definitively? See above.

R3 He’s got such a habit of licking his lips. That dries them up big time. If you look back on his photos over the years, he’s often got dry lips. I’ve always wanted to hold him down and forcefully apply lip exfoliator. Hope that helps with your nausea!

R4 R5 The IG Sleuth did a big breakdown of his likes on her posts since Jan this year. He hasn’t actually missed that many. As usual, he’s stayed away from liking her ‘work’ or shilling posts, and doesn’t like every single post - that’s his M.O. on other females’ posts that he likes too.

I personally think they had some kind of bust-up in April round about that awards thing. She’s never really made a habit of liking his posts (or anyone else’s for that matter) and has continued to like only a few. She also hadn’t been posting as much as usual.

When the di Caprio vid came out, I think she contacted BB to say ‘nothing to do with me’ (yeah right) as his name was also mentioned, and she knew he’d probably freak about that. Round around then, her ‘little 10yo me’ post appeared, which was frankly pretty awful and piteous, and I think that was to get some sympathy cos she took a lot of flak for the di Caprio thing. And it worked - hell, even Brooks liked that one! So now that she’s feeling safer and started daily posting again, with her last three (non-work) posts, we’re just seeing the cumulative effect. He never really stopped liking her stuff.

Seacrest and her spending time together was a typical rumour mill thing with nothing at all to back it up. Did it actually happen? Who knows but I don’t think it even figured on BB’s radar. And she made that comment in her vid with Nina about it “being all about the muscles and pecs” when it came to guys for her now, which we all know definitely isn’t Barnes. He’s neither muscled nor rich enough for her! He may or may not still be interested in her, but if I he is, I don’t think Madam Ho feels the same way. And I’m not convinced he is or ever was that interested in her, except for a quick fling. Again, that’s been his M.O. up till now. Remember ‘Messing Around’?

Hollyweird’s all about what people can do for each other, networking is king! That’s how these Hollyweird ‘friendships’ work. All air kisses and ‘hmmm how can I use this person to my advantage?’ He thought she could raise his public awareness just as Netflix started pushing S&B and at that point, she thought the same about him. We know that she’s even more of a publicity whore than BB is - she must have a direct dial to Backgrid!

I do think BB got a fright at the backlash over Montanagate and ice cream pap walk though. I’m not sure he’d be up for another pap walk with her - maybe he didn’t realise until then that she’s pretty much despised and written off by everyone apart from her paid-for IG followers and likers. Wonder how much that costs her every month for all of that?! Worth it for sure so she can see people telling her how wonderful she is, lmfao.

R3 And follow up question as I take a second look. . . what the hell is up with that weird rotoscoping like pixelation of his hair above his head?? Did he hire a "friend" to take this pic with portrait mode on their phone?!? Is that where we're at professionalism-wise with ads now?!?!? Cause I know Photoshop can do a much better job blurring a background than that!

But yes you're correct about rumor mills. It was obviously The Ho's team that put out the Seacrest rumor. And it was obviously Seacrest that leaked a little later that he's dating someone else. R7 Yes, that’s someone using a ‘Remove’ or ‘Blur’ tool on a photo editing app. Probably Barnes, given his liking for blurring reflections on sunglasses and stuff. My guess is that one of the tree branches looked like it was growing out of his head.

As for JH’s ‘muscles and pecs’ - well she was either gaslighting poor old Brooksy or else maybe she likes those on men or women!!! Not choosy.

He's got a bunch of new accounts at the top of his list, so each time he adds one of them he deletes an old one?!? Like that female singer he followed the other day. She's already gone from the list but his S&B costar immediately took her place.

R10 Yes! I noticed the 250 following thing too. I think it has definitely has got something to do with keeping a leash on his feed, lmao. I think he looks at who likes his posts back and ditches the ones who don’t (SW and ND, for example). There are some who are immune to this of course, his friends. Sadly he persists in including the Ho Monster in that sphere.

Let’s give him a while longer to like this post. If it’s not blatantly about her ‘wine’ company or shilling something, he’ll probably get around to it.

If you look at the post referenced in R10, you'll notice it has 800something comments. However, if you look closer, you'll notice that somewhere around half (maybe a third, I am NOT scrolling through every one!) of those comments are from The Ho herself because she replied to *SO* *MANY* comments with a heart emoji. And I'm not kidding when I say probably a third at least. Just start scrolling.

She artificially doubled the apparent interaction with her post by heart emoji-ing replies to all the randos. Manipulation at its finest.

Mentally. Fucking. Damaged. Not to mention the ridiculously pathetic level of utter desperation.

Recall that just two months ago Ben himself admitted that he "doesn't listen to the nagging voice in his head anymore, because who wants to feel bad all the time." Also recall that happiness book he showed off with it's utterly tone deaf messaging saying we all must choose to be happy, it's the natural order of things. I absolutely believe that Ben believes suffering is a choice. And it is very possible in my mind that he fully agrees that he shouldn't look back anymore, or feel guilty about anything bad he's done. (Not to mention his cult that literally tell him that all the time)

I honestly do wonder which chicken or egg came first? Did The Ho's divine energy teach him to be like this? Or did she lean on him enough during her marriage troubles to have learned all this from him. And that's why he found her mental damage attractive enough to pursue her "romantically" (vomit).

Because maybe Ben Barnes has actually ALWAYS been an utter Garbage Human too and our own sense of projection saw him as MUCH better than he actually is. That's what I'd bet.

So when do you think this original music that BB has been working on for years will be released? Assuming they start shootings the new season of S&B in October like the last season. We are coming down to the wire. Usually you need time to hype it up and then release it, let’s be honest no one knows who BB is so he is going to really have to hype it up.

BB said soon like a month ago. What does soon mean? Or he is lying again? Was all that just another lie he put out to make himself appear to be more than he is. When really no one thinks his music is good enough to be released anywhere. There are youtubers releasing music on YouTube and getting millions of views, like you don’t need a lot anymore. Or you can even put out individual songs on Spotify or whatever. No one is expecting an album.

Feels sus to me, just like every other aspect of his life.

R19 Just want to note a detail for the record in case it matters. The Ho went on vacation to Nashville to visit her family. And she has her hair extensions in. I'll first make a note and then, freely admitting it's worth exactly the same as anyone else's, give my two cents as I see it just to try to add some potential counterpoints to the conversation..

First the note. So Jack *FINALLY* changed his profile pic today. New haircut and that looks rather decidedly un-England like, no? Also, and perhaps coincidentally, I believe both he and Rob lost a follow(er) account recently. Chike's still around, but I don't know who else they both know. Again, that could be coincidence, so take it as curious with a grain of salt.

R413 (part 2) And my two cents. I just want to lay down some things we can be relatively certain of to ground any potential speculation about yesterday.

1. He posted the fanart video at his usual IG check in time. Does he know we know his normal schedule? I don't know, maybe? Do the fangirls know it and warned/coached him? I don't know, but that's easily EXTREMELY possible, so maybe? He *said* in the *actual video* that he was doing fanart friday. The friday part wasn't in the caption gif he attached, he said it. Could he have pre-recorded it in LA knowing he was going to post it on friday? Yes of course. However I can only think of one other time he used that background. . . the infamous white boy "dubsmash" rap video when he spent Christmas in LA that year. Does anyone else know of any other appearances of that background? If you were trying to "fake" being in LA, wouldn't you choose a more recognizable setting to "prove" it?

R414 (part 3) 2. The sunset pic. I don't personally think it's photoshopped. I do think he's backlit by the mildly obscured (cloudy-ish) setting sun. Recognize there are multiple edges that glow. Some of which are internal (the seam/edge of the shirt) to the external "potentially where it was cutout" edge of (literally) his picture. That doesn't make sense. Also I played around with it and what I questioned above as the "square-ish cut out hanging from his arm" actually comes up as varying browns. Others above thought he was leaning. My opinion is you're correct, he is leaning against that weathered piece of wood that we can see only the edge of to either side of his left arm, which is bent. His elbow is obviously far behind him, therefore his forearm also goes that way therefore we can't see it behind the shirt. I'll wager that backlit bit above and below his bent arm is a piece of wood that he's gently leaning against. With his solemnly closed eyes (no, I can't explain that choice but whatevs!).

Could it be an older picture? Yes of course. I also noted above that his hair changed from the morning's video. I also noted he could have showered in between. But even if it was an old picture, that doesn't guarantee he wasn't in LA that evening. It's only a (potential) sign that he, like EVERYONE else, posted a memory picture. Throwback Thursday is a literal hashtag.

R415 (part 4) 3. He posted the sunset picture at his usual (let's call it) "dinnertime in LA" IG checking in time. (again same caveat regarding who else knows/can warn about known schedules as above) That's 3:30ish am in London, or 4:30ish am in Paris and Capri. Apparently you can indeed pre-schedule IG stories if you pay for it as a business through Facebook (as far as I could find at least, feel free to correct that if you know better). What's the chances he went to THAT length to fake it. Also, as noted above, he deleted the original story only to repost it at 8pm LA time (4am London, 5am Paris/Capri) with the added "sunset song." Someone noted above that a fan account tagged him with the song-updated version in between his two story postings, AND he liked her post. (Of course that means he immediately checks all his tags and maybe also DMs when he posts things? Cause it was *QUICK*. Though The Sleuth did post about potentially confirming that very thing the other day, so. . . .)

So that would mean either he was A) awake and furiously posting and checking his tags at 4 or 5am in order to throw everyone off about not actually being in LA (And I hear you, YES! It is possible he *just* got there and his body hadn't acclimated to the new radically different time zone yet. Though I always got the previous impression he didn't go cold turkey when changing time zones in the past, but rather gradually eased into it. I have NO proof however, that's only a gut feeling, so another grain of salt). Or B) he previously secretly worked with this fan account to (somehow???) set all the story-post with like-delete story-repost story SCHEDULE ahead of time for the sole purpose of throwing everyone off over which time zone he was in. Would the twins likely JUMP at the chance to bend over backwards to help him with this endeavor? Yeeessssssssssss they absolutely would. Is it possible he coerced Rob into logging into his account to do all this from LA to fake it for him? . . . technically yes??? However both those options would reveal a likely dangerous level of mania (and the psychopathic level ability to think that far ahead with that level of detail..) that I'm not sure anyone's ready to level at him. Or let's face it, think him capable of being that smart.

R416 (part 5) So regardless of when the sunset picture was taken (and yes, it probably is an older "memory" one), the only logically *reasonable* explanation for the posting timing is he flew somewhere. . . within the past couple days? (note that a flight from LA to LONDON in longer than the time between the fanart story and the sunset story) Otherwise he has no intention of acclimating to a new time zone and is still awake at 4am days later???? I'm dubious there..

Of course feel free to question/correct these observations as you see fit. That's why we're here.

(Oh and also one more note.. He liked Jimmi's IG post today at an abnormal time regardless of what potential time zone he's in. But of course it's possible he has notifications turned on for him, or he was randomly in between being busy otherwise. Just an observation)

I agree with you regarding the bit of wooden fencing (or whatever) which can be seen, I hadn’t noticed this before. But disagree regarding the not being photoshopped. From personal editing experience I can tell you that natural highlighting does not appear in such a regular and figure-hugging way. The highlighting in that pic occurs when you’re making a cutout of a figure and the selected area bleeds out into the original background, and you don’t or can’t be bothered to correct it. This regular pattern also occurs on his back. The original photo would have had a similar coloured background, maybe he just liked the cloud formation in this one more or something.

If you look closely at his hand, you’ll see a straight line cutting across the top of it and where his shirt billows out a bit, some strange shading. That’s someone using a cloning or remove tool and not very well! (Remember the hair adjustment smudge on his recent modelling pic).

My brain has now shut down over the ‘where is he’ question. It pains me to say it, but he was either with The HoMonster in Paris and has now hopped over to London to see the family, or (much preferred scenario) he never left LA and all of this is just his usual chaotic approach to social media.

As always, it’s unlikely we’ll find out - unless someone can produce some photographic evidence. After Montanagate he’ll be super extra careful about that. And unfortunately the Ho hasn’t been calling Backgrid this time around and Benny doesn’t warrant papping on his own, so we are left to speculate.

It's AI "assuming" and running an instantaneous set of algorithms. It's not meant to look professional, it's meant to look cool. You can of course experiment yourself. Strongly backlight your hand for instance in portrait mode. Zoom all the way in. Look at all the artifacts. Pip pip hooray for rotoscoping? Again, I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm only offering one other possible explanation. Cause we both know what a bothersome pain in the ass hair is!!

There's a lot to chew over here, but my quick takes are:

- I'm willing to accept that he might not be in London because so far the only proof is a maybe-sighting by some drunk people. On the other hand, the pub is near his parents' house and I can totally hear BB saying, "What? You can't expect me to go two years without Wimbledon!" My verdict is "undecided."

- Many folks here believed that BB and JH broke up sometime after Montanagate. I never felt that there was enough evidence either way, so I'm completely able to believe that he was in Paris with her and they are still a thing. *Especially* because of "Harry Burns." - Would Ben be willing to learn how to use scheduling software to fake posts? YES.
