I don't know why people have such expectations of TIFF. Last year for CMBYN it was like this:

Thursday night: Premiere. A + T walk the red carpet and appear on stage afterwards to answer a few questions about the movie.

Friday: Press conference and a few other interviews.

Friday night: T goes to Lady Bird premiere, then attends the SPC party.

Saturday: Final day of press

Then they both went home. I'd expect some kind of similar rollout for Beautiful Boy but I doubt Hotel Mumbai will have as much press or attention.

The only questions they got asked were about CMBYN, Timmy's other films at the festival and the WA film because he was due to start filming it immediately afterwards. I don't see any reason why journalists in a room with Steve Carell or Dev Patel would waste their time bringing up CMBYN. They will focus on the films at hand.

The only time last year Timmy was photographed with someone other than Armie and Luca was at the SPC party. If he does attend an Amazon party this year, there would be no reason for Armie to be there. So yes no one should expect photos of them together at TIFF. If there is any, they will be ones they share themselves on social media if they hang out, but honestly I don't know that they'd bother when again, they're going to be in NYC together beforehand.
