She was given zero options for survival and was already struggling to breathe. She was a very sweet dog, and I’m very torn up about it. My partner also cried and couldn’t sleep last night. Money for her care was not an issue for me. I would’ve spent anything if she could’ve had a successful operation.

Why am I talking about this to strangers? Perhaps it’s more about me struggling with my emotions over this loss.

Hey everyone… this is OP. I just ended my subscription to DL. I truly love this site, entirely because of the contributors, but the capricious way people can mass FF a post resulting in a time out is ridiculous. It’s happened to me way too many times. The trick is well known, you clear cookies and you’re able to do unlimited FFs. So people get time outs for stuff that others (trolls) just don’t like. I don’t insult other posters, I’m getting time outs for shit I don’t have any clue about, but I think it was for some effing stupid post in a Princess Kate thread.

Come on, this site needs some kind of human intervention from a moderator. But it appears the DL “owners” do not give a crap. I don’t care at all about paying a fee, I’m glad to, it’s worth it. But I’ve emailed “Muriel” too many times and my issues (and many others!) are being totally effing ignored. Seriously, how many people have sent emails only to have absolutely nothing done. What site asks for payment and yet ignores the users who are glad to pay?

Sad, because I love this site, it’s unique and fills a void that no other site does. But until this stupid way people are getting time outs is fixed, it’s off to Reddit.
