OK, signal to all the Flaming Freaks, I am off of sit out. You should all be able to see me, but OP of #77 seems to be there now. If you remember I asked Vacationing OP of #77 if he was going to start #78 before He left and he bid me good luck to start #78. I will baby sit the continuation of the Treason Threads till he returns. And for the people who do not like my Parody of Ide To Billy Jo, g'fuck ya sets.
I asked for submissions, got none, and I had to create #78 as I knew I was going to be blocked as soon as I did. E Voila, I was blocked for a few days.
But unlike OP of yore, a real nice guy, I will not be deterred. When DL tells me I cannot post, I keep a word document open with thread name and the blocked post. When I am taken off of the naughty stool, I will dump all the posts that have built up.
Plus I go over to face crap and X and spread Truth, Justice and the American Way while I am on Sit out.
So in reality, the DL F&F sit out is impotent. And I will make sure our threads do not disappear.

It is HILARIOUS that the typical Republican culture wars of dividing Democrats has raised an ugly hydra of unhappiness within MAGA.
Democrats need to divide up into two camps, like MAGA is, and have one group of Democrats, in Blue States, say that Special Prosecutors and Congressional investigations need to be done.
And RED STATE DEMOCRATS need to go on TV, on Fox on local news and shout THERE IS NOTHING HERE, WE NEED TO MOVE ON, and squarely stand on ALL sides...like Republicans.

Piers is an asshole, but he can be a great interviewer. He often asks the questions I want answered and he doesn’t stop until he gets an answer. Your incredibly reductive black/white view of everything is making you miss that.

So… I’d like to pose a question while I can still post. What in the hell happened to bring all of this Epstein stuff back to the forefront? Not that I mind, it’s obviously great because we know Dump was his best buddy and they chased underaged girls. But this hasn’t been talked about in awhile, and Epstein’s been dead for six years. I’m not sure—maybe I missed something that happened in the news? I stay away from all mainstream news except for MSNBC when there’s breaking news.

It has become apparent to all of us that your national media lack the will to investigate because of the oligarchs who control them. Yet, [bold] the fact that the Wall Street Journal has now published information that its editors were well aware of years ago suggests that your oligarchs have decided Trump has outlived his usefulness so they are pushing him out the door so Vance can take over. [/bold] That was their plan all along because they were well aware of Trump's severe cognitive decline and the lack of any impulse control over what comes out of his mouth." My older followers might remember my posts in 2023-24 raised similar concerns from my Brit friend. Nothing new here from him except his surprise that our national media has failed us so badly.

After his plea, a 9th Judicial District judge gave Tyler a two-year deferred judgment, allowing his felony to be cleared from his record upon successfully completing his 24-month probation term. The reason the Epstein material came to light was Trump‘s DOJ, specifically Attorney General Pam Bondi, saying that there was no Epstein files and the case was closed. That set off a fire storm of anger among many people, especially his base. The subsequent lies, deflections about the Clintons, Obamas making stuff up in the files, and then saying all this other crazy stuff to deflect like releasing the MLK files just really pissed a lot of people off. It revealed a huge cover up.
I knew that Musk was going to turn on him one day. He’s a very dangerous person who has way too much money and way too much power. While neither are a great t person to be in power, having Trump gone 100% hurts turn out among Republicans. Vance is smarter, and we’re nowhere near out of danger with him, Theil, and Musk in power, turn out for Republicans is always way down when Trump is off the ticket. The maga cult breaking up is huge for Democrats since I’ve seen many, such as Nick Fuentes, say they’ll vote for Democrats to punish Republicans. They want Republicans to pay. Many have lost jobs, family, friends for their devotion to Trump. They want blood.

FCI, you raise an important point in your excellent post. When Dump is not on the ticket, Dems do very well. Looking back on all the special elections and Dem-forward votes on stuff like abortion, Dems over performed. But when Dump is on the ticket, all the crazies—in addition to the not-so-crazy but venal typical Repukes—come out to vote.
by Anonymous | reply 188 | July 26, 2025 9:00 PM |
Agree FCI. This really was a scandal 100% of their own making. No doubt Musk and maybe secretly Vance are nudging it along, but they went blundering into the minefield entirely of their own free will. It was a fun little bone to throw to the cult during the campaign, and it's blown up in their faces. And it really started not with Bondi's denials, but with her making a big show of being transparent and handing out those stupid "declassified" packets like the dumb bitch she is in February.
They brought all of this on themselves, very publicly, and their boneheaded attempt to suddenly announce it was all, like a joke you guys, made the whole thing pathetic and hopeless and just impossible to save. And the fact that Bongino and Kash Patel, and really the whole right wing echo chamber, was just hugely invested in this for years makes it impossible for them to walk it back, or shut it down, or divert, or any of their other crap.
by Anonymous | reply 189 | July 26, 2025 9:02 PM |
R188 Trump brought out voters who don’t normally vote or didn’t vote at all until him. I think now not only will many go back to not voting many will hate vote for Democrats.
R189 It’s stunning isn’t it? They actually thought they would say, “Nothing to see here, folks, move along” after years of riling them up. Their attempts at distraction have been so plainly laughable SNL wouldn’t go there. It reeked of a major cover up. It poured jet fuel on an inferno.
I think Vance, Musk, Murdoch and others have kept the story red hot by leaking. For once the media didn’t allow his distractions from staying on the story. They’ve been on this almost 24/7. I find that very odd. *We know who controls the media*. I even saw a headline saying, “Trump tries to distract from the Epstein case”. LOL. They’ve rarely called out his obvious distractions.

Because it’s driving them loco. No, windmills will not happen in the United States. “The other thing I say to Europe: We will not allow a windmill to be built in the United States. They are killing us,” he said.
Trump at first tried to avoid the topic of Gaza. When asked, “What do the images of starving kids in Gaza make you feel?” he responded, “Well, it’s terrible. People are stealing the food. I think Iran is acting up. Venezuela is acting up in a different way. They continue to send people that we rebuff to our border.”
Asked again about food for Gaza and whether Israel should allow more food across the border, Trump whined that the U.S. has not been thanked for sending aid.
“You really want to at least have somebody say ‘Thank you!'” Trump said. “We gave $60 million two weeks ago for food to Gaza. And nobody acknowledged it. Nobody talks about it. And it makes you feel a little bad when you do that… Nobody gave but us, and nobody said, ‘Gee, thank you very much.’ It’d be nice to at least have a thank you.”

#3, But also, R225, there seems to be genuine animosity between them. Asha Ragapana did a series of tweets a few years ago outright stating that Tom is a product of "geographic affirmative action", ie: 'We want to have different perspectives represented at Harvard Law School, and therefore seek to make sure every state is represented...'
...also known as...DEI...
Tom is aligned with Cotillion Queen/B.S. in Homemaking, Miss Marsha, and is openly proud of his southern ancestry. If things continue on the current trajectory he will be unabashedly wearing his Klan robe--hoodless--to the Senate on a regular basis.
Josh, on the other hand went to private schools with long commutes even as a child and moved to the posh NoVa suburbs once he got his fancy pedigree. He used his sister's address to register as a Missouri candidate and didn't even bother to break ground on an actual residence in his home state until after he had won.
Josh is aligned with the likes of Ted Cruz and Mike Lee who look down on anyone who isn't as brilliant as them and/but also seek to aloofly and unassailably decimate anyone who dares actively criticize them or their professed ideologies.
While Tom and Josh may have the same Achilles Heel, they are running the marathon with antagonistically different strategies.

Smithsonian removes Trump from impeachment exhibit in American history museum
"The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in July removed references to President Donald Trump’s two impeachments from an exhibit display. A person familiar with the exhibit plans, who was not authorized to discuss them publicly, said the change came about as part of a content review that the Smithsonian agreed to undertake following pressure from the White House to remove an art museum director."

Every day brings some new fresh hell...how do you like this?
On Monday, the Trump administration’s Office of Personnel Management issued a guidance allowing federal employees to “engage in conversations regarding religious topics with fellow employees, including attempting to persuade others of the correctness of their own religious views.” The rule also permits federal employees to “encourage their coworkers to participate in religious expressions of faith, such as prayer,” and explicitly allows bosses to use their work hours to pester people they’re supervising with appeals to come to Jesus, or sermons on how their sinful lifestyles will send them to hell. Some have speculated the memo opens the door to permitting religious conversion attempts offices nationwide.

Trumpenomics at work:
The U.S. economy added 73,000 jobs in July, far below expectations of 110,000.
May figures were revised down by -125,000, from +144,000 to +19,000.
June was revised down by -133,000, from +147,000 to +14,000.

This is a thoroughly corrupt and thoroughly dishonest president and administration. We know that. Of course we know that. It's obvious and it would be silly not to know that.
But I'm not sure we're great yet, we being Democrats, at constantly hammering that theme home, again and again and again. No Trump Administration official can ever be trusted about anything. It needs to be reinforced constantly, by repetition. No honesty, no integrity, nothing like that, will ever come out of this White House or its whores in the Congress and throughout the administration, and increasingly the courts.
I would start by working in wherever possible, "just as we all know he is lying about the Epstein files," we can assume he is lying about labor statistics, or previous elections, or previous administrations, or national security, or really anything at all. The Epstein Files even get the attention of the cult. They're hemming and hawing, some of them, but they are so damn nervous because they know and their listeners know, that he's lying constantly about his whole relationship with Epstein. Build on that, and reiterate that this president cannot be trusted in any matter at all, ever, even on the most basic matters of doing his job. Everything is a lie with this man, and we need to be very clear about that.

'On the other side of the ledger, Jaguar did a stupid, and seriously WOKE advertisement, THAT IS A TOTAL DISASTER!' The CEO just resigned in disgrace, and the company is in absolute turmoil. Who wants to buy a Jaguar after looking at that disgraceful ad, shouldn't they have learned a lesson from Bud Lite, which went Woke and essentially destroyed, in a short campaign, the Company.'
'Or just look at Woke singer Taylor Swift. Ever since I alerted the world as to what she was by saying on TRUTH that I can’t stand her (HATE!). She was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT,'

Gerrymandering issue in South Carolina is before the South Carolina Supreme Court.
Republicans in the legislature are trying to increase Republican voters in the 1st district and diminish the number of Democratic voters. One largely rural district, is predominantly black. That’s Jim Clyburn’s district, and state Republicans don’t want to directly fight with him.

It is the Nancy Mace district (#1) Republicans are trying to beef-up by adding more Republican voters. The district includes much of the Charleston area. A Democrat, Joe Cunningham, held the seat for one term beginning in 2018. Nancy Mace is trying to run for Governor. There is a good chance the first congressional district seat will flip back to a Democrat. That is what Republican legislators fear.

Is Mace giving up her seat to run for governor? I wondered if she's going for a statewide vote because her reputation has tanked in her own district which isn't as MAGA cultified as the rest of the state. She needs as many ignoramuses as the state has to offer.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed the planned summit between U.S. President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, warning that any peace deal excluding Kyiv would lead to "dead solutions."
In a statement posted to Telegram, Zelenskyy said Ukraine's territorial integrity, enshrined in its constitution, must be non-negotiable and emphasized that lasting peace must include Ukraine's voice at the table.
Zelenskyy said Ukraine "will not give Russia any awards for what it has done" and that "Ukrainians will not give their land to the occupier."
Touching on Ukrainian anxieties that a direct meeting between Mr. Trump and Putin could marginalize Kyiv and European interests, Zelenskyy said: "Any decisions that are without Ukraine are at the same time decisions against peace. They will not bring anything. These are dead decisions. They will never work."

"These are going to be cities without democracy," journalist Gil Duran told Wired. He's spent years documenting how the Silicon Valley elite — along with politicians like Vice President JD Vance — have pushed the idea that democracy should be ended and replaced with governments run by all-powerful businessmen. "These are going to be cities where the owners of the city, the corporations, the billionaires have all the power and everyone else has no power." In the tech bro world Elon Musk comes from, the definition of "freedom" is that rich people get to treat everyone else however they like, without that pesky government coming in to protect people's safety, autonomy or civil rights

She wore a crucifix to work and was up front, actually confrontive, about her beliefs with schizophrenics. After a few patients developed fixations on her and the cross, she was asked to stop wearing it to work and keep her religious beliefs to herself. Loud, LOUD cries of discrimination and violating her 1st Amendment rights, blah, blah blah.

On the heels of President Donald J. Trump’s Friday meeting with Russia’s president Vladimir Putin in Anchorage, Alaska, Trump will meet with Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelensky Monday afternoon at the White House. According to Barak Ravid of Axios, Trump called Zelensky from Air Force One on the way home from Alaska. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and White House special envoy Steve Witkoff were also on the hour-long call. The leaders of the European Commission, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and the United Kingdom then joined the call for another half hour.
In the call, Trump embraced Putin’s view of the conflict, telling Zelensky and European leaders that Putin does not want a ceasefire. Trump indicated that he is abandoning his own demand for a ceasefire and adopting Putin’s position that negotiations should take place without one. Zelensky insists on a ceasefire before negotiations. After the call, Trump posted on social media that “it was determined by all that the best way to end the horrific war between Russia and Ukraine is to go directly to a Peace Agreement, which would end the war, and not a mere Ceasefire Agreement, which often times do not hold up.” “All” is doing a lot of work in that sentence: it appears to mean Putin, with the possible agreement now of Trump.
Key unanswered questions from Friday’s summit were why it ended so abruptly, with the cancellation of a planned luncheon and more discussions, and why Trump immediately told Fox News Channel's Scum-sucking Sean Hannity, “Because of what happened today, I think I don’t have to think about [further sanctions on Russia] now. I may have to think about it in two weeks or three weeks or something, but we don’t have to think about that right now.”
The abrupt cancellation could mean that U.S. officials sent Putin packing without lunch because he would not agree to a ceasefire. But it seems worth keeping on the table that Trump has recently exhibited both an inability to focus on any topic, and a need to live in a carefully constructed world that ignores reality and assures him he is the best and the brightest. A high-stakes meeting with principals about a very real situation might have been too much for him to manage for a full day. Because, ya know, he's FAT ORANGE PIG!
by Anonymous | reply 461 | August 18, 2025 8:12 AM |
At the press conference following the summit, NBC News White House correspondent Peter Alexander reported that what struck him was “the looks on the faces of a lot of the American delegation here. Karoline Leavitt…, Steve Witkoff, who came into the room, then left quickly, then came back in. Leavitt appeared to be a bit stressed out, anxious. Their eyes were wide, almost ashen at times.” It's like they're finally starting to realize they worship a BIG FAT ORANGE PIG who has to have TWO SCOOPS of Ice Cream!
A man who would lower himself in front of Putin and beg, "Please piss in my mouth!! So that the whole world can see how much of a BIG FAT ORANGE PIG I am and that I love you."
by Anonymous | reply 462 | August 18, 2025 8:15 AM |
What is clear from the summit, though, is that Trump and Putin badly miscalculated the nature of power in democracies.
It has seemed since 2016 that Putin believed that if he could drive a wedge between the U.S., NATO countries, and other allies, which together have defended a rules-based international order since 1949, he could break that order. Then, absent the system that worked to keep big countries from invading smaller ones, he could take over parts of Ukraine and possibly other countries around Russia. Together, Putin and Trump have gone a long way toward aligning the U.S. government with Putin and other authoritarians. In his first term, Trump talked of leaving NATO, but those in his administration who understood the nature of power prevented him. Now he is operating without those professionals and has shifted the U.S. to a foreign policy that is fraying our relationships with other countries.
But U.S. strength in international relations has always been its relationships, and with the U.S. withdrawing from its traditional democratic alliances, others are strengthening their relationships without the U.S. Today, at a meeting with Zelensky in Brussels, European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen stressed that international borders cannot be changed by force. She called for Ukraine to become “a steel porcupine, indigestible for potential invaders.” French president Emmanuel Macron said that Ukraine’s borders must be honored and that “if we show weakness today in front of Russia, we are laying the ground for future conflict.”
by Anonymous | reply 463 | August 18, 2025 8:17 AM |
On Monday, August 11, Trump announced he was placing the Washington, D.C., police department under federal control and deploying National Guard troops there. He asserted that violent crime in the city is “getting worse” and in an executive order claimed that “crime is out of control” in the city.

DUMP is a plague on Humanity and has infected 10's of millions of citizens with his tripe that they eagerly lap up. Things will have to get pretty dire for enough of them to see his true color (and it ain't ORANGE) but by then we will have fallen even further.
His beady eyes were darting all around at the start of the meeting whereas the other attendees appeared focused on the purpose of the gathering. He's probably thinking (such as that process is for him) about his next golf game and how he can get a better score than Scottie Scheffler did when he won the PGA tour yesterday.

Restaurant reservations are down. If they're thinking of ordering in, they might want to reconsider and pick up their order.
On Sunday afternoon, DeSue said, an area where 15 to 20 delivery drivers typically would be parked out front of his home looking at their phones for their next orders was an empty lot. “I haven’t seen a driver anywhere in the last two days,” he said. Some other D.C. residents have noticed the dwindling presence of delivery drivers, as well.
“He was in front of the restaurant when I see that there are two policemen and they have him,” Vasquez said. “They didn’t give a single explanation. The police would tell him to lift up his hair because they wanted to take a photo. The guy was nervous, he was in shock, crying, of course, because he was working, and for the police to arrive all of a sudden, anyone would get nervous.”
Cerros, a Honduran national, was eventually taken away by law enforcement. His bike was loaded on a truck with the logo of D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department on it, according to Vasquez and video obtained by NBC News. Almost a day later, Cerros appeared on the ICE detainee locator database in ICE custody in Virginia, where he remained Monday evening.

An appeals court has thrown out the massive civil fraud penalty against President Donald Trump, ruling Thursday in New York state’s lawsuit accusing him of exaggerating his wealth.
The court dismissed the $355 million penalty Engoron imposed – which had topped $515 million due to interest – in its entirety

The quest to kill Obamacare continues apace:
Health insurance companies have requested an average premium increase of 24% for Affordable Care Act plans in Texas in 2026, a significant hike that could lead to destabilization in the marketplace and customers opting for less or no coverage.
Last year, the average rate hike across insurance carriers was 3.8%
Texans’ monthly premium costs will likely rise even higher than the 24% average rate hike, given the looming expiration of the expanded tax credits. Health policy organization KFF projects that Texans who use ACA tax credits will see premiums rise by an average of 115% or $456 per year.

Trump and his administration with most of the Republican legislators want to have federal law enforcement and military personnel remain in Washington DC through the 2026 midterms and after the next Congress is sworn in. If the Democrats win the House and/or the Senate, Trump and company will declare voter fraud and refuse to allow numerous Democrats from being sworn-in. Trump may attempt to nullify the election results. Unlike the 2021 violent coup attempt, Trump will already have his forces in place to quell dissent and his operatives in place to carry out his game plan.
I heard Bill Maher a few days ago, comment about something similar happening.
