Instagram has automatically made me follow Potus, Flotus, and J,D, Vance
I am aghast...my friend found out today that she was following #47, the wife, and the guyliner, then noticed a lot of her friends were too. Unfollowed, but then was shortly "followed". She had to block to prevent further action. So I checked who I follow, and sure enough, there they were at the top. So many friends and work associates added too, so I tried to notify them. Yep, they were all added as well. Similar unfollow and immediately refollowed before blocking.
My sister tried to rationalize it (because our mother is a doom scroller against #47) as I was following Biden (Potus), Mrs. Jil (Flotus)l, and Kamala (Veep something), and they just switched the accounts over. I told her that that was impossible, as the account that I was following for Kamala wasn't under a veep name, and J.D's account is also not under veep. Then she saw that she was added with all three and punched/deleted.
So check whom you're following, and check to see if other people you know were added too.
