I still think the murders were the work of an amateur, not a serial killer or a drug cartel hit man. A professional wouldn't have let things snowball the way they did, and ended up killing four when they only wanted to kill one or two.

I don't think these kids were dealing drugs, or involved with drug dealing, IMHO if that was true it'd at least be in the rumor mill by now. If they were involved in dealing they'd presumably have had clients among the college kids, and those clients all have access to social media and internet, where they could discuss their late dealers either openly or anonymously. But that hasn't happened.

I miss him terribly. He was a good man, who my mom took for granted, and she treated him very poorly.

r318, I feel like I came close, but was a bit off on his age. This is a comment I left way back in Part Two:

From what I've read it sounds like someone on Facebook said they lived nearby and saw a white Elantra with Washington plates, and they were encouraged to go to the police with the tip. If it's true that he just drove right up to the house then they probably had that Elantra on Ring video or something already. Learning that the plates were Washington surely narrowed it down further, then of course the DNA sealed the deal.

He's 28.

Looks like he got his associate degree from a community college in 2018 (age 24) His full Bachelors degree in 2020 (age 26) His Masters earlier this year, age 28, and he just got started on his PhD research this past semester.

Leaves a couple of years free to fuck around with heroin aged 16-20 or so.

I wonder if he is bipolar or an occasional addict. His friends said his entire personality changed.
