2nd Motive, Word has gotten out who is responsible for former plege Hunter's accidental drowning death and those who might rat out the frat perps need to be silenced.

Dylan (and Beth) had repeatedly complained to their friends re the constant noise, goings on, etc with BFF Maddie and KayLee. There was a split in the house among the former friends.

I have not gone through the late-night threads of the Killer's AMA (LOL) yet, so I don't know yet if he actually showed up...Just before 11 (ET), they had figured out something about a white King Ranch pickup that had been spotted in several photos, and in the brief video of the 2 girls walking down the sidewalk, where one of them says, "I told Adam *everything*" (the speculation was that the truck was following the 2 girls). The 4channers figured out that such a truck had been ID'd in photos as being later parked in the driveway of David Loach's mother's house. Setting aside the incredibly high per capita prevalence of pickup trucks in that neck of the woods, the 4chan boys actually deputized someone on there to call the Idaho crime tips hotline and report what they had figured out, and the guy did so and reported back. The 4channers speculated that Jack and Adam and David L had been in on the earlier drowning of the frat kid Hunter, that Jack had told Kaylee what had happened, Kaylee (likely drunk) told Maddie, and Maddie was caught admitting to Adam that she knew "everything." Hence, the 2 girls had to be killed to ensure their silence. The 2 kids downstairs on Floor 2 must have barged into what had happened upstairs (likely Ethan discovered them), and so the 2 of them had to be killed as well. Of course there's a possibility that this crime was related to that poor kid's death, R85, but I'm inclined to think it wasn't a primary motive. Like I said, these frat boys would have less fear of exposure or justice than the average person, and I don't think they'd kill to keep a secret about a death at a party.

As everyone has said all along, this seems to be a crime of rage, overwhelming rage, with one victim reportedly having many more rage-wounds than the others (Kaylee, according to Kaylee's unreliable dad). The cops and Lindow's family know what happened, but letting it out that Hudson died by "drowning" is somehow less shameful than letting it out that he was just another statistic of the fentanyl craze, and everybody rests easy. It's still "obstruction of justice" on the part of Chief Wiggum, and I think the cops are in for a bunch of trouble on this score. There is a lot of anger about this kid's death on the Web since these girls were found murdered.

Hannnah Cleere, their roommate, committed suicide less than a year ago and the 2 upstairs girls seem likely to have been bullying her. By this point, I am pretty sure the upstairs girls were killed because of their connections to one of these 2 deaths. I can't find reliable photos of either Father Lindow or Father Cleere, but it would be nice to know if they both have an alibi for the night in question, and I'm sure the cops know this by now. If neither of them did this, then I am going for the idea that the boyfriend Jack told his ex what had happened to Lindow and the girls started blabbing while intoxicated. (Kaylee was back in town for *one day* and she gets murdered). The girls probably weren't expected to be in the same bedroom that night. The killer thus had to kill both of them, and then got caught downstairs, leaving, probably by Ethan, and so had to kill Ethan and Xana too. The Downstairs Girls weren't harmed because only 2 on the upper floor were the target(s) The townfolk seem to feel that the Upstairs Girls "had it coming," however brutal that assessment might seem.

Seeing from the video how poorly lit the area around the house was at night, I’m not surprised it was an easy target and getaway. Think about surroundings that dark at 3am and not even a locked sliding door or blinds pulled across it.

I can’t fathom a bunch of girls feeling the least bit safe there. Years ago when I lived off campus with friends,, our house was well lit with regular outdoor lighting all around it, plus motion sensor flood lighting too. We were coming home at all hours and never would have felt safe coming home to a house that dark. We would have been terrified even in a sleepy small college town of a dark place like 1122 King Rd.

In most college student lives, they had just started “pre-drinking” before their actual night out got underway.

Dean of ID students lost his job/career because he let the "suicide" slide without investigating. If the truth had come to light both ID State College and the entire town of Moscow would economically suffer.

All of this is completely what I have suspected, had no idea about what happened to Ethan's body, but I imagine similar happened to the others. There are facts in this case and of course there are some speculations. Firmly believe other frat members besides Jack D (Kaylee's ex BF) are infolved. Meaning both David's had roles.

I think it makes sense. Parties all the time, roommates coming and going, you want to feel safe when you're alone - and you want your stuff left alone. I can't imagine it without very good locks on the doors, although I'm not sure combination locks are whatever are as good as some other types, but that's what they had.

They also should have secured those sliding glass doors better than they did - with rods/bars, alarms, etc. They're notoriously easy to break into - and I believe even on the back side of the house where you wouldn't be seen fiddling with the door.

My guess is that the padlocks on the bedroom doors made the girls feel safe from the other students (and whoever else) coming in to use the living area and kitchen while the roommates were away.

- The sliding door was never truly locked or barred

- The bedrooms, save for the ones on the ground floor, weren’t locked. There was no reason to do so.

- I maintain there were two killers, either one for each room or both going from room to room. I can’t see anyone pulling this off all by himself.

- Would you go to the top floor first, or start at the first floor where Ethan was sleeping? You start at the first, or course: Take those two out so they can’t interrupt you/attack you/call police while you’re doing your dirty deeds in the top floor.

- With the first floor neutralised, you make your way to the second floor and repeat.

The courses some of the victims were taking - tourism management, for example - seem like something that would be taken at a community college instead of a university, or perhaps a joint diploma/degree program. It isn't unusual in the USA to have courses about extremely specific things like that, so I don't know if that's the case elsewhere or not. The DNA evidence should be much easier to process in that case than that of the layers of biological matter in the party house. Also, there’s a $50,000 reward being offered in the Salem case. No takers as of yet.

How many deconvolutions? How many multi-amplifications of each extract did you have to consolidate into one interpretation? How much background shit did you have to wade through?

How many stutters did you have to recreate? How many analyses did you have to run on each one? How did each mixed sample relate to the others? How many partial profiles were you able to isolate?

How many interpretation strategies did you employ? How many likelihood ratios did you come up with? Were they airtight? How many times did you have to repeat the entire process to be sure they were? How long did that take?

I think there was good odds of one person, a person who'd only intended to kill *one* victim, either Maddie or Kaylie. So he (definitely HE) goes to their bedroom, finds two girls instead of one, and they're both sound asleep and drunk, and he's able to deliver quick killing/disabling wounds, and stab his chosen victim many times. Satiated, he begins to sneak out, only to find Ethan asking what the noise is and blocking his path and Xana behind him, and at this point the killer wets his pants and realizes he's got to fight for his life. Against two half-asleep, drunk, unarmed college kids who've never faced real danger.

And this is why I've thought all along that the killer had killed before, was someone with military, hunting, or previous murder experience, and not some spoiled frat bully. Someone set out after one victim, found four, and still killed them all and got away. Someday the crime scene info till show whether this is correct or not, but of course right now the police have more sense than to give people like me crime scene info.
