According to the producers last story they were only on day 15/30 filming. Kit now in Venice, also has the convention coming up. Alice still writing S2. Other than that one random article has there been any other confirmation HS is about to actually start filming so soon? Because it seems like all signs are pointing to not a chance.

How is Yaz's personality grating? She's just being herself. There's other actors on the show with annoying personalities.

R54 It's subjective, isn't it? Her being herself doesn't stop some people (like myself) finding her irritating. Even in Tobie's vlogs, she stood out to me as slightly annoying and wanting to be the centre of attention.

I have never found Yaz annoying.

Don't think she's a great actor, but I don't mind Yaz. She's living her life normally while everyone else is hides on social media. If anything she seems more self aware that this is probably going to be peak of her career so she might as well enjoy it.

Yaz had no opportunity to be terrible on the show. The character had no big scenes to play, really. Unlike William Gao. I still shudder at his acting after the fight ("Why didn't you tell me?! This is all your fault!"). You can tell he came straight from youth theatre.

R58 Yeah, I definitely agree that Will Gao's acting was nooooot good. He was possibly the weakest, even over Yaz. Apparently the director and Will had a 'ham-ometer' or something, because Will had a tendency to overact (from his theatre days) and the director needed to dial it down. I still think he overacted so I dread to think what it was like beforehand...

Will didn't even get good reviews at The Trials or have many mentions in reviews so I m not sure he's a good theater actor either. At least he's tall and pretty

Kit is being smart by getting into voice acting. He has a distinct voice for it, and it can be a really nice fall back career if his live acting career doesn't pan out. A lot of actors switch to voice acting after they stop getting roles in live films/TV shows.

I do think this probably predated HS? It’s coming out in October and unless I’m really off, I doubt a whole game could be animated with his voiceovers that fast. He may have recorded it after being cast or after filming but I’m betting his current popularity is an unexpected boon for the HS team. Agreed with r91 though, he and bash have both done voice acting gigs and they and some of the others with good narrator / character voices (Joe, Will, Rhea are the 3 that immediately come to mind, and Jenny does a good character voice) can make decent money and recurring gigs without too much time commitment with voice acting.

I suspect we don’t get to hear Kit’s real accent much. Kit talks in this video about growing up as an actor meant that people maybe had certain expectations of him and that could be quite crippling - and he's talked about a similar thing in other interviews. He always talks about it in a very vague way, though - what expectations do we think he's talking about, that would be placed on him as a child actor? Could it be sexuality related?

My first thought is: $$$$$/Power/Influence. People would want to hang out with him to get something from him, whether that's having him pay for things on a social outing, or hook people up with tickets to X, Y, Z.

People also might expect him to be a big personality who would hold court at parties etc.

I don’t think we know, but the idea that Netflix sent him to Paris by himself to fully immerse himself and practice his French or something is funny to me.

Previous rumors were that filming starts next week, although that date was never confirmed. If the UK’s morning period was going to effect the filming schedule, they might be starting filming in France sooner. I’m sure they’re are lots of permits need for location shots that couldn’t be easier moved around. But they could do their rehearsals in Paris instead of London and maybe film a few outdoor scenes early, if it enables them to keep filming on schedule despite the UK being shut down.

Season 2 will explore Nick's bisexuality more, hence the Yaz/Nick romance.

He’s a lead but Maia’s character is the protagonist from what I’ve gleamed. There’s also stuff that they haven’t needed him for like flashbacks of Maia’s character as a child.

Doesn't Kit play the main character's love interest?

He does but the story isn't really about the relationship. It's focused on her getting over a rough period in her life. The relationship is a really slow burn too. He's the lead male character, but she's the main character and focus of the story.

Also a lot of the book should have scenes about Miami since she spends most of the book hating England because she loves Miami so much. So I'd guess Kit might be done filming.

I know you never really know a celebrity but I’d always had Kit marked down as someone pretty serious, private and quite deep and loyal / not trusting people very easily so am a bit surprised if he and Maia are a thing that they’re going full on public with their relationship so quickly when Sof was very much kept in the background (assuming they were in fact a couple) for ages. Will be v interesting to see how it all plays out…

Opposites attract kind of thing I guess, seeing as she’s usually half naked with her tongue and tits out. Didn’t think that was the type of thing he’d go for. But as many have said, he’s young and spent a lot of time with her. Coming from an all boys school this is probably quite the exciting change of he’s straight.

Odd no one has seen them together in York other than when they were between takes and people said they were holding hands. York is tiny; I was there last week and coincidentally found out later I stayed around the corner from where he is/was staying and there’s no way they could be out and about as a couple around there without being constantly spotted, and yet in Paris…

I don’t think Kit and Sof were ever a thing but Maia seems much more interesting than Sof, so good for Kit if this isn’t PR or whatever.
