At this point, I think it's an open relationship and I kind of understand why they don't want to openly communicate that: it's not great publicity and it may impact their image and the money flowing in their pockets. I don’t think he was there. This is screaming JH in paris last year with her friend and emojigate trying to elude Ben was with her when he wasn’t. He was silent then as well which didn’t help.

No doubt I’ll get shot down in flames here, but in trying to fathom out what in the hell kinda relationship these two apparently could have, especially as they seem to be polar opposites (mostly privacy issue related). So I’ve got a couple of thoughts to put out there:

1) The Longtime Friends description … when it comes down to it, how well do they really know each other, how much time have they actually spent together during all those years that keep getting quoted? Not much, I’d say.

In fact until Brooks took to the hills in April 2020, I’d say they were more Longtime Acquaintances than actual friends. So to keep on using this term is just ridiculous. If you’re going to say ‘friends’, say just ‘friends’, that’s all you need to call it. Or even better, call it whatever it damn well truly is.

2) I always wondered - particularly after IceCreamGate - if there was a kind of mutual using of each other involved. So more like Publicity Seeking Networking Hollywood Friends.

Take one total attention whore who’s always calling up her buddies BackGrid, and add one guy who never gets papped… unless he’s with her 🤔 and mix together in the blender.

So, IceCreamGate was just as S&B was finally getting promo’d… papwalk initiated! More attention oxygen for her, more publicity for him at the launch of a new show.
