I’m not seeing it’s great by any means, but if you have seen a few T-Mobile ads over the years and pick up on some themes in their ad style you can see that they often use actors that kind of play up a role or trope they were are/were known for, like these guys from the old show Scrubs. They could have done better with Ben by playing up the recent villain roles, he only kinda went dark at the end by ordering people to do something lol but maybe they were trying to bring a little caspian nostalgia to it too. The Uomo ad was so well done it created a favorable mindset to make you want to check out the product being advertised. Conversely, the T-mobile ad is such a turn off that it doesn't directly make you want to buy the product. And that does reference the quality of the ad, you are absolutely correct. But you are not correct that the two ads are not directly comparable, I just did it. And as I previously stated, it's not that he shouldn't make ads, because he's made good ones before. It's that he shouldn't make bad ads.

Also, you tacitly admitted you thought it was a bad ad too when you said blame T-mobile not Ben for the quality. Sylvia asked about the response elsewhere and what was reported back was all negative. If you have positive reviews please share them, we've asked to see them. Keeping in mind of course that full-on stan accounts are largely incapable of objectivity and will automatically see literally everything as a positive. That is the fundamental nature of sycophancy and therefore makes for an utterly dismissible source. When stan accounts start criticizing, *that's* newsworthy. I have seen remarks saying he looks good in it. Ben is very handsome, that is not in dispute, though I do dispute that is the sole quality of what makes for a good ad, or is enough to salvage a bad one. Most of the reactions I’ve seen on Twitter acknowledge he’s doing it for a check or for viability and why the fuck else would he do it? Are they actually finished filming and getting out of there? Were they not allowed to post anything from a party? Were they not allowed to have one? Is Netflix tanking that badly?
