Usually it’s the director’s cut that adds greater ambiguity/mystery, but here it’s the theatrical cut that leaves more room for interpretation, and its ending is much more haunting. That’s uncommon when it comes to theatrical v. extended directors’ cuts.

Nah, I just watched the video. The woman screaming "Jimmy" didn't sound like she was dying. Her voice was strong and loud, unlike Lisa Goy's milliseconds later. Jimmy is one of the twinks for sure.

This is a very strange case. Reporters usually do a follow up to a murder “Neighbors surprised at killing” or “Neighbors tell of long time feud” and they actually speak to & quote people. This murder only had a quick one-off with “neighbors said there had been tension between the neighbors,” but no quotes from anyone. Nobody talked to the people who ran to help & then ran away. You’d expect reporters would talk to Jimmy or whomever & ask, “Tell me what happened. What was your experience of this event? What did you think had happened? Did you hear gunshots? We’re you surprised that Spaide shot the neighbors? What was he like? What were the Goys like?”

Instead, you get a couple of anonymous randos posting online “I knew them.” The people who say 5gis could be anybody.

No quotes from police, either. Just a release recounting fist-shaking, handgun, ar 15, the suicide with other rifle. All written up. No reporters seem to have talked to police. “Case closed.”

In my area when someone is murdered the tv & print media are all over filming & interviewing neighbors. “I’m shocked! He was a nice guy.” Or “I’m not surprised. He was a strange guy.”

But nothing.....

No, if you watch and listen to it closely, a woman screams for Jimmaaayy off to the side of the video. She also seems to call out Jerrraaay, which seems to be the name of the red-tracksuited twink who ran out in backup of Jimmaaayy.

The woman who was shot did not have that kind of lung power at that point — she was rasping "Call Brian Baranski."

It's clear that the summoning of Jimmaaayy and Jerraaay is coming from stage right.

Who were the people in the scene? OK, the lead players are James Goy, Lisa Goy and Jeffrey Spaide.

But who are the two guys who come to "help". Neighbors? Family?

And who are the offstage voices? Who is calling for Jimmy? Who is Jimmy? Is it James Goy?

The thing that most woman don’t get is that those were not just words, they were bulling him. I am not saying that guy was gay, but it doesn’t matter. The public school system when I was growing up may as well have been a penitentiary. I have a somewhat short driveway, R223, and you just have to raise the chute on the snow blower a little so the snow gets tossed onto the yard. When I shovel, I have to actually raise the shovel and throw the snow instead of just pushing it if there's already a lot of accumulated snow.

My neighbours all get along though, and we're relatively normal human beings so the odd time my neighbour blows his snow on to my property, he simply comes with a shovel and clears it. He has a huge driveway and a very good snow blower, and actually will clear the sidewalk (city property) in front of a few houses if there's been a lot of snow. Every once in awhile I'll come home to find my driveway already cleared. If I'm already out shoveling, I clear the snow in front of his house too, which is the way normal humans behave. I can't imagine purposely pushing snow all the way across the street to my neighbour's property.

I'm female, and I was bullied constantly between the ages of 11 through high school. (It happens to girls, too.) Even in my 20s, I was sometimes bullied by random strangers (for being unattractive) and even coworkers (for being obviously gay). Today, in my 40s, as a result of the bullying, I don't have much of a social media profile, and my photo is NOWHERE online. I have flashbacks of bullying from those middle school days, and I'm in therapy. Today, if I were loudly bullied in my own home, in front of all of my neighbors, the humiliation would probably devastate me. I would be inclined to retreat, but if I had testosterone running through my veins, who knows how I would react? Maybe he was taking prescription drugs for depression (like lots of people are during the pandemic), and they didn't mix well with his body chemistry.

My guess is they may have been investing to leave an income for their son's future. We don't know the extent of his autism but it's possible his employment prospects do not include high earnings and he could need lifetime care.

A co-worker's family (she's in her mid 60s with no plans to retire) has an only child, a son suffering from unrelenting Tourette's Syndrome. At 30 he is unemployable. Much of their inheritances and savings are going into a trust ensuring his lifetime care.

I've watched the video several times since first seeing it here last week. It is absolutely riveting.
