Sources cited by The New York Times on Friday say he is experiencing mild symptoms. On Wednesday evening, he fell asleep on Air Force one on the way back from Minnesota, the source claimed, which is unusual for the president, who tends to tweet and talk with aides during flights.
Also, his rally in Minnesota that night was unusually short by Trump standards – about 45 minutes. His campaign events typically run at least twice that long, clocking in at 90 minutes or more. Other Trump aides told Bloomberg News that Trump was ‘feeling poorly’ on Wednesday but they thought it was because of his intense campaign schedule. The president seemed exhausted, one person said. It's unclear if Melania is suffering any symptoms.
Joe Biden, Trump's 77-year-old opponent who he debated on Tuesday night, is being tested on Friday morning. He wished Trump and Melania a speedy recovery in a tweet on Friday morning.
Vice President Mike Pence - who would take over from Trump in the event that he becomes incapacitated - has tested negative as has Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin.
It remains unclear whether any other members of the Trump family have been tested, or what the results of those tests are.
If Trump becomes seriously ill, there are constitutional procedures that would allow Vice President Mike Pence to assume power temporarily, just weeks before the November 3 election. But if Trump suffers mild or no symptoms, the president would be able to tout his recovery as evidence that the virus is a less grave threat than many believe.

Have the markets reacted? I don't care that they have it nor do I celebrate them having it. We are all susceptible, after all. I am concerned about an economic system collapse. I also have concerns about what this revelation will mean for the upcoming election. I cannot rejoice over someone else's misfortune.

Saturday, September 26: Trump announces his Supreme Court pick at the White House, then travels to a rally in Pennsylvania with aides including Hope Hicks.
Sunday, September 27: The president plays golf in Virginia, gives a press conference in the White House briefing room and hosts a reception for Gold Star families.
Monday, September 28: Trump gives a press briefing and inspects pickup vehicles on the White House lawn.
Tuesday, September 29: Hicks is aboard Air Force One with the president and Melania to travel to the first presidential debate in Cleveland. Hicks is seen leaving the jet without a mask.
The president spars with Joe Biden in a chaotic debate. Trump family members do not wear masks during the debate, violating venue rules.
Wednesday, September 30: Hicks travels on Marine One and on Air Force One to a rally in Minnesota Wednesday.
She is understood to have felt poorly on the way back, quarantining on the presidential plane to get home.
Thursday, October 1: Trump still travels to New Jersey for a fundraiser. Hicks tests positive.
Trump says he is awaiting test results, before confirming he and wife Melania have tested positive for Covid-19.
Friday, October 2: A political rally in Sanford, Florida is cancelled.

They sat next to Melania and no one had a mask on, and they traveled with them as well, so they'll be lucky if they don't get it.
So will Chris Wallace, he was sitting close to the Trumps.

From CNN’s Sarah Mucha and Arlette Saenz
Following President Trump's positive coronavirus test, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden wished Trump and first lady Melania Trump "a swift recovery."
Biden is expected to get tested for coronavirus this morning, according to a source familiar with his plans. Trump and Biden shared the debate stage Tuesday night during the first presidential debate.

Trump kept a busy public diary in the pandemic. Putin installed walk-through disinfectant tunnels
From CNN's Nathan Hodge and Mary Ilyushina
Over months of the coronavirus pandemic, US President Donald Trump has kept to a busy schedule, packed with campaign rallies and public events. The contrast with Russian President Vladimir Putin could not be more stark: The authoritarian leader Trump admires so much is living in a bubble.
For most of the pandemic, Putin has been following a strict work-from-home regimen, running the affairs of state largely by videoconference. And the Kremlin has taken extreme measures to guard the health of the man who has run Russia for two decades.
Guarding Putin's health: Putin's primary base during the pandemic, according to his press office and extensive state television coverage, has been Novo-Ogaryovo, his residence outside Moscow. As early as April, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov made it clear that new measures had been put in place to protect the president: Everyone meeting with Putin, he said, would be tested for Covid-19, and all appointments with the leader would be held with social distancing in place.
The Kremlin went farther than just social distancing. In June, Peskov confirmed that special disinfectant tunnels had been installed in the Kremlin and at Novo-Ogaryovo as a defense against the spread of the virus. The same month, Putin went ahead with holding a postponed Victory Day parade in the middle of the pandemic. Dozens of WWII veterans who sat next to the president on the stands had to quarantine for two weeks.

From CNN Health's Jacqueline Howard
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the World Health Organization's (WHO) director-general, wished President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump a "full and speedy recovery" in a Twitter post on Friday
In May, Trump announced the decision to withdraw the United States from WHO. The withdrawal, which goes into effect July 6, 2021, has drawn criticism from some bipartisan lawmakers, medical associations, advocacy groups and allies abroad.

At least 11 tested positive for Covid-19 at US Secret Service center in August, New York Times reports
From CNN's Veronica Stracqualursi
The US Secret Service was hit with a coronavirus outbreak in August at its training center in Maryland when at least 11 people tested positive for the virus, according to a report by The New York Times.
Some employees at the facility were thought to have contracted the virus during training exercises and at a graduation party at a nearby hotel where they did not practice social distancing, the Times reported Friday, citing officials with knowledge of the matter.
CNN has reached out to the Secret Service for comment.
The agency declined to give the Times specifics of the outbreak at its training center in Laurel, Maryland, but told the newspaper in a statement that it "has taken significant precautions at its training center to protect the health and welfare of its trainees and training staff."

Germany's Chancellor and Russia's President are the latest world leaders to react to the news that US President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump have tested positive for Covid-19.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday sent Trump a telegram wishing the couple a speedy recovery. "I am sure that your inherent vitality, good spirits and optimism will help you cope with the dangerous virus,” the Russian President said according to a Kremlin readout of the telegram. "
German Chancellor Angela Merkel sent her "best wishes to Donald and Melania Trump. I hope that you will get over the corona infection and will soon be completely healthy again," according to spokesman Steffen Seibert.

Mike Pompeo and wife test negative for coronavirus
From CNN's Daniel Allman
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said he and his wife Susan have tested negative for Covid-19.
“I’m feeling fantastic,” he told reporters, adding that he had not interacted with President Donald Trump since the so-called Abraham Accords on September 15 (the diplomatic agreement signed between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain at the White House), citing his own travel schedule.
“We are praying for the President and First Lady that they’ll have a speedy recovery," Pompeo said.
“I spoke with the Vice President’s office this morning as well. We’re taking this obviously very seriously. And we’ll do everything we can to keep everyone safe, including you all.”
This is the fourth time that Pompeo has been tested in the last two and a half weeks.
The State Department is still evaluating whether he will continue his planned trip to Florida on Saturday and Asia on Sunday but his schedule in Croatia remains as planned.

How world leaders are reacting to the news Trump tested positive for Covid-19
World leaders are starting to react this morning to the news that US President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump have tested positive for Covid-19.
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson sent his "best wishes" to the presidential couple. Johnson spent several days in an intensive care unit after being diagnosed with Covid-19 in April.
Speaking in a conference call with journalists on Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, “We certainly wish President Trump a speedy recovery.”
Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to get vaccinated and when he does, the Kremlin will make an announcement.
Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan also wished the Trumps a "speedy recovery."
Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also sent "best wishes" from the "people of Taiwan."
The President of the European Council Charles Michel said Covid-19 is "a battle we all continue to fight."
The President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, said his "thoughts and prayers" are with the first couple.
Afghanistan’s Abdullah Abdullah, the Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation, wished the couple a "speedy recovery."

"I was at the White House from Saturday afternoon through lunchtime on Tuesday, on and off during those days. I was tested every day I went to the White House," Christie said. "The last test I took was on Tuesday morning and I was negative, and I'm going to get a test this morning to see if that status has changed. I feel fine, I don't feel any symptoms at this time, and I obviously hope it remains that way."
Christie said there were about five or six people helping with debate prep, including Trump's personal lawyer, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

He’s been sick and POZ BEFORE the debate. At MINIMUM, 7-10 days, and here’s how I know:
He was already in poor health and definitely presenting symptoms on the evening of the debate.
I recall watching him, and as I shared on one of the many threads announcing this here posted here repetitively (ugh), I was shocked how markedly thinner her appeared from just a few weeks back. And I also observed that he indeed did struggle with breath and appeared like a person who had just taken a steroid shot, which I’ve had administered to myself by my doctors when I had tested positive for and was experiencing symptoms for an autoimmune disorder called Myasthenia Graves.
The onset of the symptoms I had affected my eye muscles, my ability to hold up my neck, my ability to swallow food, and my ability to use my diaphragm correctly or normally, while breathing on and out.
What stuck out to me about his breathing g was that he did some of the same stuff I did. We don’t think about using our diaphragms as we go through our daily activities, unless we are trained to do so as singers, public orators, or athletes. We do become aware of flexing this muscle in higher altitudes and when we are running out of stamina, as was explained to me by my physicians. So when I first started presenting, and got diagnosed, it was suggested that I get on a steroid protocol so that I could continue my daily activities as I normally would. I got a shot of it the first day (when the doc wrote the scrip), and I drove to the office, and remember bashing my teeth like trump do.
Steroids don’t make you feel high, but they make you feel hyper aggressive and they make tYou tense up and purse your mouth or clench your jaw and grind your teeth.
As the day wore on, and the medication also did, I remember getting the feeling of being winded as I spoke. And I had to do stuff like hold myself upright at my desk if I was having a meeting or a conference call, because it would get difficult to breathe AND rely solely on my core muscles to stand upright without using my arms to prop myself up. He did that on the podium Tuesday, and than he usually does, as he is already overweight and winded.
It takes about 2 to 4 weeks for your body to adjust to the steroids. They make you sweat, tense up, get hot, (especially around your neck, chest and face, and you become flushed and really red, as of you just ran up a few flights of stairs.
Because of the weight loss and what I observed on that stage on Tuesday night, I believe he has had the virus for at least 7-10 days prior to the debate, and was on a steroid regimen to push through the rallies and debates, and that he was sick long before Hicks was, and she and most probably many others around him became exposed to it by being in his bubble, and they did not know he had it until it was impossible to hide it.
Jared, Ivanka, and the VP all knew. They are either already immune due to previous exposure, or are also infected and asymptotic.
They went in to that debate knowing he was sick and they all were part of the CoViD bubble they are currently sealed into, and have probably all either had it once, twice, or have it with zero issues, SO FAR, and this time, the info leaked and it was impossible to deny it. They’re all probably on steroids and getting plasma IV treatments.
All part of the course. Let’s keep the show going as long as we are tended to by top notch physicians and the best of modalities available, while you all sit at our rallies, and possibly die- ESPECIALLY, if you’re black! Yeah, we know the black guy wasn’t gonna make it, but he had the spirit!
These people are just so fucking fucked up and belligerently destructive, when it comes to the human lives they affect in their folly and lies.

R1(2, if you have a minute sometime today, please go check out what Myasthenia Gravis is, and what it does and how it presents.
I was much younger and way healthier than Trump when I got I’ll, and I didn’t have to work, yet chose to because I was terrified of losing the best health insurance I’d ever had, and I was also terrified that if I stopped physically moving, I’d become disabled a lot faster than I could have according to the progression markers of the disease.
If I could work under those circumstances because of steroids, so could DJT. Trust me, I know what I’m taking about.
He is genuinely ill. Maybe it’s something else, but he exams 10 to 15 lbs thinned almost overnight and the facial flushing and maintained redness in his cheeks was not Adderall or cocaine, or any other illegal substance.
The man was jacked up on steroids and to those who are assuming Junior is high on blow, steroids will dilate the pupils more than bathtub meth or the finest Peruvian flake.
My illness eventually resolved for the most part, thankfully. But I still take a small dosage of the steroids, just in case.
I know a person on a high dosage of steroids as opposed to a person on stimulants when o see them, as I’ve experienced plenty of good blow, and the steroids. The blow fades in 30 minutes, and a steroid shot will blast you through a good 6 hours, minimum.
He’s genuinely, physically ill. With what? I cannot say because I don’t know.
The problem here is not that he is sick. The problem here is that he HAS KNOWN HE IS SICK AND KEPT ON GOING, while others also got sick and even died, or could.
I don’t wish this man an iota of physical harm, but these people don’t just deceive us by verbally lying. They also deceive and HURT us, by immuring critically important and factual information, that we need in order to protect ourselves and others from a devastating illness that could kill ANYONE, him included.

The dangerous part isn't right after you start showing symptoms, it's about a week or so on when you may take a turn for the worse. My friend who had a "mild" case, and is much younger and fitter than Trump) said it was NOT like the flu, the worst symptoms were far more debilitating and lasted weeks rather than days.
by Anonymous | reply 165 | October 2, 2020 3:33 PM |
Sorry for all of the typos.
TLDR? Be’s Been sick for a while and has known.
What I believe is another real possibility is that the infection is just bouncing back and forth amongst these people.
Here’s who most probably doesn’t have CoViD: Melanie, Ivanka, the kids, like Barron and Ivanka’s children.
That’s why they’ve been, only there when absolutely necessary, but otherwise? O.
The people in AF One with the President have already had it or have it and are asymptomatic and healthy in appearance and diagnostics they’re given regularly by physicians, or they remain in-infected because they fly in Air Force 2, and live away from the WH, never entering it.
That’s why he was doing those press conferences outside.
The virulence and strength abated, they took their guard down, and it either re entered via a new host, or it re triggered in an old one.
The lie is that they’re all infected or living away from each other, pretending to be OK, when everyone in that jet with DJT, has already been exposed and asymptomatic for some length of time now.
Old news to them. New news to us. Omission is as bad as lying.

[quote] They aren’t going to admit he’s really sick. It’s a national security issue. Plus they’ve lied about his health for four years, why stop now?
This has been the case through many presidencies, both Republican and Democratic.
Edith Wilson was effectively running the show after Woodrow's stroke in 1919,
FDR knew he was dying, yet he ran for a fourth term in 1944. That's why he dumped VP Henry Wallace and put Harry Truman on the ticket. He knew he wouldn't live to finish out his term (and didn't dying less than 3 months into his fourth term)
Eisenhower was described as having had a 'minor' heart attack in 1955 because they didn't want to jeopardize his reelection in 1956. Amazingly, it was first diagnosed as 'indigestion' and he would not be hospitalized for another 12 hours.
Kennedy hid his Addison's disease from the public, attributing his ruddy color caused by hyperpigmentation of the skin to a suntan and 'youthful vigor'.
After he left office, Nixon was reported to be losing it towards the end of his presidency, wandering the White House halls late at night, talking to portraits of former presidents. The severity of his phlebitis was never disclosed to the public during his term of office.
When Reagan was shot, he was a lot closer to death than first reported to the nation. Even though he was bleeding internally, Reagan insisted he be seen walking into the hospital on foot. As soon as he got inside to door and away from the cameras, he collapsed and was rushed into the operating room. It wasn't until well after he recovered that we discovered how serious it was.

R161, you make an interesting point. I took steroids myself a few months ago for a temporary condition.
A side effect I noticed about a week or two in was feeling very angry and aggressive. I’m not normally like that. I just felt overwhelmingly irritated by everything. I had to stay inside and avoid people. That might explain why he was constantly talking over Biden.
Another possibility was he and his family knew they were infected, went there in an effort to infect the Bidens, and he snorted Adderall or coke to get through it. A lot. A lot of people said he seemed to be on drugs.
It makes me wonder if Don Jr has been so cokey lately to fight off long term after-affects of COVID. Guillfoyle had it in July. Maybe he had it too and they didn’t want to admit it, and he’s a long hauler. Those people suffer after affects for months. And he’s been campaigning. So he cokes it up and keeps going to events. If that’s the case, he and Guillfoyle may both have antibodies and the rest probably don’t.

R198, it isn’t.
That’s not how CoViD works.
Air particulates linger consistently in any closed environment, and are redistributed even more profusely via BVAC systems that are not retrofitted for the affect of dry and highly arid enclosures.
If they debated in a room that was fitted properly for this, are rooms for certain industries, than the chances lessen, however, even a glass of water in that room change the game.
This is probably why. Biden’s camp requested a break (which they were denied), every 30 minutes.
They wanted mitigate their exposure to any air condensation, however, that would actually INCREASE their risk to particulate exposure, which is why that requested was correctly denied.
I assume they had solid rumors circulating that Trump’s crew were all walking Petrie dishes of viral pestilence, and understood the HUGE risks involved with a physical and proximal, physical closeness in a closed yet unsealed room, for a debate.
My 0.2 cents?
They were ALL really foolish to enter into this quagmire of fuckeries with this caravan of clowns.
You cannot trust your physical health and life to ANY of these people. NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM.
People, even those close in the know, just repeatedly forget the now overwhelming and profound nation security risk this president and this administration has subjected us to repeatedly in the last year.
We have been tinkering on the edge for almost a FULL year, now. Just because your stocks and IRAs are booming, that is no true expression of an economic line that can go from a steep V, to a very wide U, or even almost flatline, within hours of news such as this, today.
Do not be fooled by the NASDAQ elixir on which so many of us have been trained to imbibe as some sort of miracle vitamin. High stocks do not mean strong economy. And the higher the tick, the steeper the crash. I know of what I speak, even if I’m fucking poor.
Also, a smart President with a smart citizenry does not do what this man just did to his staff, family, and to us.
He fucked us and if you see jets flying off and around you on the next weeks to come, and you think, “Oh. That’s an odd plane. Never seen that one before”, understand that when you are evaluating an economy and it’s resilience, you do so by first evaluating it national security risks. A pandemic, is not just a bad flu. It is a risk to our country, and now, because our POTUS is genuinely sick, in my personal estimation, our armed forces will most like start showing military might and presence, by flying all kinds of jets in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and every coastline in our country, because that is what they MUST do, if a POTUS is in danger or under ANY threat that becomes public.
That’s how you will know this is real. The mother fucking planes, just like the little guy on the island said every week in his little white suit.
You see the jets? Our national security is at risk. Why, because our POTUS has CoVid, and for ONCE, he’s not lying.

Guys, Trump IS sick. So let’s strategize on how to leverage this to the utmost advantage. I actually think Dems need to ATTACK him immediately — but don’t let Joe do this dirty work. Leave it to say AOC, Katie Porter, Swalwell, Cuomo. And to boot, sprinkle on some Never Trumpers like Rick Wilson and Steve Schmidt. Dems should actually jump on this and use it to hurt him HARD — show ZERO mercy. They need to bring up the fucking LIST of all the mistakes he’s made, focusing particularly on his holding rallies!! Someone needs to suggest that he and his campaign staff are criminally charged for their reckless conduct and blatant disregard for public safety. Definitely push the concept of charging them with criminal charges!
In the past, citizens wouldn’t have stomached kicking someone when they’re down. But now? Gloves are off, and it actually isn’t difficult to make this case while seeming to still take the moral high road.
Act like they feel bad bringing this all up NOW — BUT it is critical that we as a country learn from his bad decisions, bad judgement, and poor leadership. Blahblahblah.

For some inexplicable reason, nobody else in the office got sick or has tested positive.

Dying of CoViD as an overweight senior is excruciating. Horrible footage of triage and icu care all over YouTube. The seniors that it hit from NY to PA in March and April died like dogs in those old folks homes. Not at all exaggerating. Like literal dogs who were drowning in a tub and could no longer breathe because their lungs were riddled with mucous that was becoming encapsulated into a marble lodged in their lungs, due to lack of oxygen and the coagulation effects when vascular dilation starts to seal and tighten. It’s like they were a ballon and either had to pop to breathe (impossible, due to pneumatic limitations, as well as no surgical facilities). At that point, I did not understand the vascular constrictions, but I knew that anyone who had them, would actually not make it and would fare worse with ventilators, due to lung pressure complications.
Can you imagine dying like that? No family. You’re a 75 year old black man in a home or the VA with another 100 of you? You went to Vietnam, you served, and now you are begging for Jesus to kill you because your chest is filled with something that feels like water, glass, and sand, and an elephant is sitting on your chest.
That’s what it felt like for this men and women to die of this illness, and it took this president 45 days or more to finally close down the country, as NY, NJ, and PA fended for themselves and this dude called it a hoax, refusing to wear a mask.
Now he gets sick? America’s right: thoughts and prayers, get real patriots died PAINFULLY, & people tore off their masks, stormed court buildings, and took up their firearms, locked and loaded.
Damn, damn, damn!!!! So angry about that. I do not want this man to hurt, because it doesn’t even matter. It is his supporters who are the real problem. We will forget them until this happens again.
And it will. I promise.

Biden won't stop:
"Suspending the campaign would be a disservice to the country and there is no reason to do it," said Ben LaBolt, a former aide to former president Barack Obama.
"One of the judgments voters are making is which candidate would have better managed the response to the coronavirus and who has the leadership to lead us out of this national emergency," LaBolt added. "While we should wish the president a healthy recovery, his diagnosis is a visible demonstration of a failure of leadership at every level of this White House."
With the test result in hand, Biden proceeded with plans to campaign in the battleground state of Michigan Friday, while running mate Kamala Harris, who was not at the debate, also tested negative and traveled to Las Vegas for a previously scheduled campaign stop.

MSNBC pundits: news of Hope Hicks' infection leaked to a reporter after masks started popping up in the WH, forcing official announcement. Line that Trump has "mild symptoms" is unverified; given track record of lies, entirely possible it's much worse. Also likely that more leaks are forthcoming given frustration of staffers with lack of protection.
Doc notes that early symptoms immediately after positive test (with frequent prior testing) are typically a bad sign for disease progression. She said each patient has to be evaluated separately for treatment - eg, Trump will prob get remdesivir and monoclonal antibodies; convalescent plasma is trickier. Always possibility of cytokine storm. Assumption is that a) WH will downplay severity/limit info; and b) more people will emerge as positive. Yeehaw.

How Trump and Hicks spent week before coronavirus diagnosis
WASHINGTON — President Trump learned on Thursday morning that his close aide Hope Hicks tested positive for coronavirus — just as his plane took off for a scheduled fundraiser in New Jersey, his chief of staff said Friday.
Their diagnoses followed a week of travel across the country as the presidential election enters its final phase, with American voters heading to the polls in just 32 days.
On Thursday evening, it emerged that Hicks, one of the president’s closest advisers, was also infected with COVID-19 after traveling by the president’s side all week.
The president’s packed schedule, which included three rallies, a presidential debate and fundraisers, has raised fears that other high-profile officials are at risk.
Below is a timeline of the president’s week:
Monday, Sept. 28-----
Trump and Vice President Mike Pence updated the nation on the administration’s coronavirus testing strategy Monday afternoon in the Rose Garden.
Adm. Brett Giroir, assistant secretary for health at the Department of Health and Human Services, was also on stage but didn’t come into close contact with the president.
That afternoon, Trump and White House trade adviser Peter Navarro inspected a new electric pickup truck manufactured by Lordstown Motors and met with the company’s CEO, Steve Burns.
Tuesday, Sept. 29----------
On Tuesday, Trump flew to Cleveland, Ohio, with nearly two dozen family members and staff for the shambolic debate with Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
Pence was also in the Capitol with Judge Amy Coney Barrett and Republican lawmakers ahead of her confirmation hearings.
On board Air Force One to Ohio were Hicks, son-in-law Jared Kushner, assistant Dan Scavino, press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, chief of staff Mark Meadows, attorney Rudy Giuliani, campaign chief Bill Stepien, speechwriter Stephen Miller, national security adviser Robert O’Brien and Ohio GOP Rep. Jim Jordan.
Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr., his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, Eric Trump, Lara Trump and Tiffany Trump were also on the plane.
While Biden and Trump remained six feet apart on stage, Biden was tested on Friday in the wake of Trump’s diagnosis and returned a negative result.
Wednesday, Sept. 30========
At 2:30 p.m., the president left the White House on Marine One and headed to Minnesota for a rally in Duluth.
Hicks, Kushner and Miller — whose wife, Katie Miller, Pence’s top spokeswoman, was one of the first officials to contract COVID-19 in May — were seen getting on the helicopter less than a minute behind him.
Before his rally, the president also attended a fundraiser at the private home of Cambria CEO Marty Davis, a top Trump supporter.
According to multiple reports, Hicks began feeling unwell on Air Force One on the ride back to Washington and quarantined herself away from others on the plane.
Trump himself also seemed tired during the rally and uncharacteristically fell asleep on the plane, multiple sources told the New York Times.

Thursday, Oct. 1------
The president departed the White House in Marine One to Joint Base Andrews at 12:45 p.m., according to his official schedule. He did not speak to reporters on the South Lawn.
It was at takeoff that Hicks’ COVID-19 diagnosis came to light.
“I can tell you in terms of Hope Hicks, we discovered that right as the Marine One was taking off yesterday,” Meadows told reporters Friday morning. “We actually pulled some of the people that had been traveling and (were) in close contact.”
Meadows did not specify who was held back.
Trump arrived at Joint Base Andrews 10 minutes later and flew from DC to Morristown, NJ, at 1:05 p.m. with White House spokesman Judd Deere and aide John McEntee in tow, according to pool reports.
Air Force One arrived at Morristown Municipal Airport at 1:55 p.m.
Ten minutes later, he flew to his golf resort in Bedminster for the fundraiser — with Meadows saying contact tracing efforts began just before the roundtable event with supporters at 3 p.m.
Press was not allowed into the event.
Trump then delivered remarks at the club around 3:45 p.m. and left a little over an hour later for Morristown. He flew out of the New Jersey airport at 5:20 p.m., landed at Joint Base Andrews at 6:10 p.m., then left for the White House at 6:20 p.m.
He arrived at the White House’s South Lawn at 6:30 p.m. and also didn’t speak to reporters, instead waving and giving a thumbs up.
After returning to the White House, Trump called in to Fox News at 9 p.m., saying he’d learned of Hicks’ positive test and that he was awaiting the results of his own.
Trump confirmed the news via Twitter in the early hours of Friday, and the couple remain quarantined at the White House residence with mild symptoms.

Thom Tillis is poz. He was in the rose garden and is also on the senate judiciary committee. This is going to get a lot bigger

Here's a new one from TLP, it's not about the Loser having Covid, but it's about Covid.

I don't want Trump to die before the election because there are people who wouldn't vote for a ticket with him at the top, but they sure would vote for Pence.
After the election, he can drop dead.

Two R Senators have it. Hopefully Mitch gets it next.

Hopefully the coronavirus won't get infected with Mitch McConnell

Mitch’s dreams of ramming ACB through a confirmation is rapidly dwindling.

Can it be transmitted rectally?
Asking (nervously) for a friend.

He’ll be dead by mid-month.

Thom Tillis is in a very tough race for re-election in North Carolina.

Smug idiots.

Between Trump, Tillis, and Lee, it's gotta take out/hit one of them very hard..
by Anonymous | reply 586 | October 3, 2020 12:45 AM |
Tillis and Lee met for 90 minutes with the rest of the Republicans on the Judiciary Committee on Saturday, I believe. That includes Chuck Grassley, who is 87, and vowed this morning he will not get tested.

[QUOTE] That includes Chuck Grassley, who is 87, and vowed this morning he will not get tested.
Why on Earth would he say that? He’s third in line for the presidency.
by Anonymous | reply 588 | October 3, 2020 12:51 AM |
Grassley's ass is grass if poz.
by Anonymous | reply 589 | October 3, 2020 12:51 AM |
The meeting was actually Thursday. I'd forgotten which day it was. Grassley's spokesperson said Chuck hadn't been in contact with anyone infected. But he had been. Lee. And now Tillis as well. So I have no idea what Chuck's problem is.

ASSley
by Anonymous | reply 591 | October 3, 2020 12:58 AM |
Slow the testing down.
That one phrase sums up the failure of his presidency.
by Anonymous | reply 592 | October 3, 2020 1:01 AM |
ONE phrase, R592?
by Anonymous | reply 593 | October 3, 2020 1:04 AM |
Bill Barr was in the front row at that event!
by Anonymous | reply 594 | October 3, 2020 1:10 AM |
If he doesn't get tested, he can't be positive

[quote]That includes Chuck Grassley, who is 87
At this age people are either dead or retired and playing with the grandkids. Why are these walking corpses still in the Senate?
by Anonymous | reply 596 | October 3, 2020 1:22 AM |
Remember when it was all a big 'hokes' [sic] and the Deplorables of Twitter had neither met nor heard of a single person in their shithole counties who had gotten sick?
Their new thing is: So what if he didn't wear a mask?? I know dozens of people who wore masks and still caught it.
by Anonymous | reply 597 | October 3, 2020 1:28 AM |
Is this still a hoax virus that will go away without taking anyone out?
