My two cents as someone who worked in jail psych.

Inmates commit suicide under suicide watch, it does happen but is rare compared to those who aren’t put on suicide watch. The inmates are put in cells usually without anything that would assist in hanging, the most frequently used method in prison suicides. Then the inmate is under at least hourly visual checks but it’s usually more often than that. If the inmate is ruled to be extra crazy then they’d be naked except for underwear or paper tunic gown.

I don’t know how JE was able to hang himself unless he was put in a regular cell (not high-observation) AND didn’t have enough safety checks AND was left with regular prison gear/ blankets/ sheets that allow him to hang himself with. I’ve also had to prescribe sedative agents or restraints for inmates who were really psychotic and suicidal. JE obviously didn’t present that way.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist so I’m thinking off the most likely scenarios. One is that he paid off one of the prison guards to look the other way while he offed himself. The other is just your poorly paid, uncaring prison guards not doing the job which they’re paid to do.

Epstein has freshly broken, pink skin behind his ear, showing us that he expired within 1-2 hours before the photo was snapped.

Epstein’s face also has a boot print, which extends from his cheek, to his cranium and part of his neck. The boot print is that of a boot, specifically the kind of boot worn by military personnel, law enforcement officers, or corrections officers. Prisoners do not wear these boots while locked up. Please see the photograph I linked below for reference. While my sample photo depicts a different sole print than the one left on Epstein’s face, it clearly illustrates my theory: someone held Epstein’s face down on the floor with their foot, while simultaneously suffocating/strangling him. Whoever executed the hit might have had a partner. However, someone working in that corrections facility had to be in on it, or it would not have happened.

I also see some rope or fabric burns, likely caused while strangling/suffocating him. This is probably when the epidermis was broken, revealing pink skin. He was then carefully positioned to look like a self inflicted suicide, & here we are.

The person who had the most to lose had this done, or it was done on his behalf. And this wasn’t some foreign hit. The hit came from inside the house. A White House, to be exact.

The way I see it, it would have been better off for Epstein to stay alive instead of having him bumped off. With his money and connections, he could have dragged out his trial for years with delays and whatnot. His lawyers would have motion after motion of suppressing evidence. I suspect JE was on a medical/ psych unit in jail, they're reserved for inmates with immediate medical or mental health needs, there are both guards and nursing staff on those units, though nursing staff usually consists of 1 RN so it's mainly the guard/ officer on duty who's responsible to safety. The RNs usually tend to medical needs like dressing changes or they give out meds on rounds. At least that was how it was at the jail where I used to work.

I'm thinking poison. Apparently his attorneys came to the jail and would stay all day and evening to keep him company. I think he may very well have convinced one of them to smuggle in a cyanide capsule - it's a much easier way to go, all you do is bite down and death is practically instantaneous. Also cyanide is metabolized within hours, and unless blood and urine samples are drawn immediately, it become undetectable on autopsy. If one of his attorneys didn't actually smuggle the capsule in themselves, they could have arranged for a guard to be handsomely bribed to do it, presenting it as a kind of very well compensated mercy killing. Then to have it happen on a weekend, body not discovered for awhile, no autopsy done right away, the hospital thinking he hung himself, no blood or urine taken for toxicology, or at least not soon enough to detect cyanide.

If he'd attempted suicide 17 days ago as it's been reported, then he would be under an involuntary psych hold of likely 72 hours at least. I'm not familiar with the laws regarding that in NY but here in Calfornia it's 72 hours. After that period, the inmate gets re-evaluated by the mental health team with the supervising member usually a MD or NP then releases that hold if the inmate is not suicidal or danger to others. That inmate then gets placed into sections that address medical needs or just go back to regular population. There are way less checks in those circumstances. And yes, people lie all the time and say they're not suicidal but then go on to attempt suicide.

I read a very good comment on the WashPo article that said his suicide hurt all the powerful pedos because he was the only one who had standing to sue against prosecutors (I'm not up on the legal lingo) to keep anything found at his house private. Now that he's gone, no one else can go to court with a motion about keeping his records and things sealed.
