Brandon doesn’t have to go home for promo, no, because 13 Reasons Why isn’t coming out for a couple of months yet, and they don’t promote the show that far in advance. In fact, it doesn’t sound to me like he was all that keen on going, with his “take me back” comment. I do wonder whether him leaving after going all that way for only a few days is a bit of backtracking after the media explosion in the last few days- I mean, they WOULD have likely been photographed together, but one sure way to NOT have that happen is be in two different countries. I know Richard knew what he was doing when he answered, but I’m not sure he could have seen the frenzy coming, and I’m a little concerned about that. I do worry that Brandon has left at a time that seems, to me, like it would be a pretty fragile one.

Brandon is a talented actor and he seems like a sweet, fun-loving boy. Everyone jokes about the "damned smile" line from the show, but it really is true: He has a knockout smile. It's easy to see why Richard fell for him. They look lovely together and I'm rooting for them.
