Thinking back the past few weeks -- Richard's been flying all over creation every couple or three days promoting both Rocketman and Bodyguard (the latter for Emmy consideration). It's been an endless stream of interviews, talk shows, red carpet walks, etc. And even the events that some might deem fun are actually a lot of work, like the Met Gala, for instance. Actors have to be constantly "on" and schmoozing with all the important industry people while courting the press and the public. It's not like a private party among friends where you can let your hair down and just have a good time.

Let's recap: The NYC Rocketman premiere was on Wednesday night. The boys were likely hungover on Thursday (just a guess, but I'm probably right) and had to travel again soon, either Thursday or Friday (again, just an educated guess). Then the bombshell NYT interview dropped late Friday afternoon, and the interwebz blew up.

The constant travel and promotional schedule must be exhausting but the the fallout from the interview has probably taken an emotional toll as well. If they're together at Richard's place in London or somewhere else in the UK, I hope Richard has scored some well-earned downtime with his boo to do nothing but sleep, eat and fuck. I can wait a few days for more pap pics.
