Hotel Mumbai expands nationwide in the us this week and it's expected to make it into the #10 lower half. Given the film's long and winding road ... id say lower top 10 is nit bad at all.

Last weekend, Hotel Mumbai opened in four theaters in New York and L.A. where it grossed $86,000 or about $21,500 per theater, which isn’t great for a nationwide expansion, but it’s at least a start. I think Armie is very good. I really didn't have a good sense of Oliver in the book but feel Armie fleshed him out perfectly in the movie. The film is really a showcase for the Elio character. Armie should stick to the more independent films or maybe do a series of some sort. He’s failed at the whole big budget thing and him being so outwardly desperate for batman makes him look even sillier, his move to small budget stuff doesn’t seem so much like a choice now.

He’s got leading man looks but unfortunately he’s just not a very good actor and he should just accept and embrace that. He’s done well in his life for an average/below average actor.

Armie is an okay actor, I agree that he needs to work on his articulation which is too distracting, also try his hand at more diverse roles, he really needs to do something raw and gritty to be taken seriously. It's called an act and he's awake alright and sees her which is why he's so miserable with her now.
