The people being all up in arms about what Armie said in the interview are going to be the first ones to bitch and moan endlessly if the sequel doesn’t live up to their expectations, which it probably won’t. They also want a sequel because they want more Armie and Timmy content like promo and interviews but they’re kidding themselves if they think things will be anything like they were the first time around. So much shit has happened in just the past year alone that it feels like everything that we got during the promo tour was in another lifetime. There’s so much baggage and weird PR bullshit that comes with everything surrounding them now that people are only setting themselves up for disappointment.

A CMBYN sequel is seeming like more of a bad idea with each passing day, given both of their current career trajectories. If things work out really well for Timmy in LW, TFD, and/or Dune (or even if they don't), he'll have so many other acting opportunities to consider going forward. CMBYN wasn't a major movie success, let alone a hit blockbuster.
