This handsome film actor has asked his publicist to find him a girlfriend in the next couple of months. This probably won’t get done in time to promote his summer flick, but it will provide plenty of photo ops prior to his other film’s release in 1Q2016.

I don't know about all that. Hugh Jackman has been Wolverine since 1999 and has managed to do countless other projects. Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pine, Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana (to name just a few), headline whole other franchises. Henry had one real starring turn in Man of Steel, was basically relegated to "special guest star" for Batman v Superman, and had about ten minutes of screen time in Justice League. Nah, Superman ain't holding him back.

I think the creative team wanted young people for the series, even the fans complained about Henry being younger than the character. But I agree that the actress for his love inteted is too young for him and it's not only the age gap, it's also the appereance she looks 17-18 and after hair and make up Henry is gonna older than he is. Unless they have insane chemistry and they manage to make her look way older the sex scenes are gonna be creepy, total miscast.

The DCEU is a fucking mess and that's not on the actors. WB doesn't want to make anymore Superman movies. They wanted Henry to fulfill his contract with the Shazaam cameo, and have him possibly stay on in a "Nick Fury" capacity. Yup! WB wants Superman, DC's flagship character, centerpiece of the Justice League, the most recognized superhero in the world, to hang out in the background and do walk-on's in 3rd tier characters' films.
