r12 I haven't seen any recommendations yet. I would benefit from reading a book or three myself. I searched online with keywords "best tarot books for beginners" and stopped at ten. The titles with multiple recommendations are:

But I did watch, ten months after the fact, a tarot reader team making "quick and dirty" predictions and they did happen. It helped that in hindsight some events seemed destined and obvious predictions, and few timelines were given, but like you and I say, no practitioner of the occult/psychic arts is going to be 100% right all the time. I'm following to see who's the most accurate.

Linda G did mention too that it was possible that it would be the November rematch where O'Connor would prevail, but she definitely saw him in and Balderson out.

For those of you who were talking at the end of the last thread about why you don't have certain "abilities", I'd like you to know that you do.

You may not have developed it yet or the skill you want to develop isn't one that is suited to your spirit.

Some people can read cards, some are mediums, some are empaths, some can cast runes or scry in mirrors, some are clairaudient and hear things (not in the crazy people way). Point is, there are all sorts of ways to prognosticate and no one way is better. See what works for you. Try several.

Also, my uncle, who was a pretty well known prognosticator in the Time Before the Interwebs always told me that he developed his talents over time by making a conscious effort to practice. He did this by meditating every day and becoming aware of the "feelings" he had about events or people. Acknowledge those feelings and write them down. No matter how bizarre. Use an aid like a tarot deck or scrying mirror to help you concentrate if you need to.

The point is, he firmly believed that everyone has the ability but not everyone makes a conscious effort to develop and nurture that ability. Mostly because we get so distracted so easily.

And reading family and friends is going to be frustrating at first because you know them too well and your mind will get in the way. One step at a time. You don't take violin lessons for a week then start playing Mozart, right? This works the same way.

As far as books go, Greer is very good. Also try Angeles Arrien and anything by AE Waite.

Now I'm wondering what the perfect position of psychic abilities is that allows me to intuit who'll be best at intuiting me. Even the 'good' mediums have hit-and-miss records there. I'm glad to know these skills can improve with practice. It seems to me that people who grew up in folk medicine or tribal traditions instead of industrialized, metropolis, left-brain dominant cultures have an early edge in identifying and improving their intuition.

2) I said this in the other thread, the census and government have been under counting Latinos.This is going to be a controversy and I see people pointing at a black man (maybe Obama ??) It could very well be Republicans trying to wash their hands, "it wasn't us," but I do sense some blame will be given to him. I see people arguing in court "How could this happen?"

3) Ok, this is more symbolism because obviously Italians have never left politics. You got Pelosi and others, but for some time I have felt a wave of young Italians entering politics. Not all of them will be young, but there is an energy of "newness." We are about to witness a new dynasty of Italian prowess. I just read on this and got the Knight of Swords which is a great card to illustrate the ferocity of an Italian wave.

4) Canadians, Aussies, and Brits entering US politics. I see a lot of foreign born people entering politics in the 2020s. One of the effects of Trump is that he embolden and powered people that are usually in the shadows (good or bad) and now they feel like they should also be part of the action. I see this as mostly positive. I actually see a Western state with a foreign born governor.

5) I don't want to go there because it feels like intrusion, but Joe Kennedy III sleeps with men or wants to sleep with men. I don't know what's going on there but there is a double life there. I can sense a repression,

6) If for some reason we still have a Republican president when Trump leaves, knock on wood, I want to say the Dems are going to manhandle him. In an earlier reading I said that even if Dems don't manage to win both houses they are still in a better place. They have leverage over the presidency.

7) However, I don't think we should rule out an early election either (2 of Swords). Sorry, I see politicians actually discussing an election, maybe an early election. Time will tell I guess.

8) I think Swalwell will have family problems. He got the Devil in the Home environment and the 5 of Coins as an outcome. In an earlier reading I said I could see him leaving the primary to Harris. If his personal life gets in the way, I can see him dropping out. Hopefully that is not the case as he could be a great candidate.

9) Now someone who could get screwed is Eric Garcetti. He got great cards but got the Devil as an outcome which reeks of foul play. After meditating a bit on this I saw people pointing at him that he was Mexican which is very upsetting. He could be in the conversation for Vice president though.

I fucking knew it! I've been saying the Russians have been stealing California's district 48th (and 49th district) to keep Dada Rohrabacher in congress. I get a vision and I see a man crossing off names which tells me its the voter rolls they are targeting. I think they are targeting the mail in/provisional voters, but they are targeting those that vote infrequently. Those that are less likely to make a fuss about not receiving their mail ballot. I go back to a Los Angeles times article that said certain districts are increasingly voting by mail. As a beginner, I always found it useful two read the cards as pages of a book. One card doesn't tell the whole story, but in combination it can paint a picture. Interesting take R132, I didn't think about that. Sometimes the journey takes you back home, to your roots. Since the 6 of Swords is a minor card, it could even mean 6 months. Though realistically sorting out the whole Russian investigation into Bretix will probably take longer. So you might be right that in about six years the resentments between Britain and the EU might be water under the bridge.

I asked again "how does Trump leave office", lit incense this time, and made an intention for a true and honest outcome, not just what I wanted to have happen and the spread is worrisome to me due to the first three cards and their proximity to each other. I hope in my inexperience I've overlooked a more precise interpretation:

1. Five of Swords - self destruction. A worm or parasite has been cut in half. The “ugly” has come to the surface and self-destructive patterns are coming out of hiding. 3. Six of Swords -- This is the aftermath of Five of Swords activity, strife and confusion. A pall. "Our long national nightmare is over." This card symbolizes a slow, joyless recovery.

Five of Swords plus the Tower plus Six of Swords is almost certainly a demise. Changes are irreversible and permanent. It looks to me that real chaos and damage will be unleashed. In the Rider-Waite tarot a woman and child are in a boat, signifying leaving a difficult situation, maybe literally travel over water (Melania and Barron?).

4. Page of Cups (this signifies Trump in my earlier spreads about him)

I've just recently started using Tarot and Oracle cards. I was doing a spread on Pence, as he's from my home state of IN. We need to do a reading on Shawn Mendes and John Mayer. I somewhat get a feel John has some sexual frustration (I'm not talking about sexual inclinations) like there is actually something wrong with the body. I just don't know what. I did a reading on Trump on Friday (8/31). The final outcome card was the tower.

Basically, I read that he's worried, he has some sort of victory or feels victorious (maybe some rallies to pump his ego?), but showed him to be delusional. Then it goes downhill, with disappointment, loss, and the devil showed up, too. Anyway you tried to look at it, the cards were not good.

I read on Pence too. I always get the hanged man with him or temperance. He's just biding his time, hoping Cheeto would be out. He also feels trapped right now. Final outcome was his leaving.

I drew this morning to answer the question "When does he leave the WH?" Trump is my Page of Cups consistent with my past readings, so it's his Significator. First is The Tower, second is The Empress, third is Eight of Wands. I asked again, after nine shuffles, and got the Eight of Wands. Wands, from what I see on tarot timing webpages is days.

The Empress is a Major Arcana card, signifying the planet Venus, which rules the Astrological sign of Libra (and Taurus, but we want him to go sooner than later!). Eight days (wands) into Libra is October 1. I've drawn October 1 or a period shorter than ten days that includes October 1 more than once (I ask this question every week, I'm anxious!). I drew October 1 in July/August.

Some good and some bad in the SoulLight Hypnotherapy reading I just watched.

First of all she sees Kavanaugh getting confirmed to a lifetime appointment.

Then she sees a blue wave, with the House being taken by Dems, but not the Senate. But then she says that everyone needs to get out and vote for Dems, because the cards also suggest that there will be election tampering.

Linda, Rosie, Lina, and Empress have all three said that he could very well be confirmed but doesn't get to serve because he either doesn't get to the bench or gets impeached after he is a sitting judge.

Ok, last post I swear, when Rosie came out with her prediction for September( Lena Rogriguez and Dweller Between the Waters too) I said it felt like the beginning of the end, but I always saw Trump living around November or right after. I did feel September was important, and in an earlier post I said he probably wouldn't go (Trump) but something happened that would cut his administration from the knees. Cavanaugh and the exposure of his finances were probably it. After today's news, Trump has received such a lethal blow, he won't recuperate. Everyone keeps talking about a female that puts the nail on his coffin, but I feel it's more like the female energy (which men have it too). Kavanaugh was a little different than previously. I'd always gotten 3 of swords on him (either 3 accusers or maybe - hopefully he loses by 3 votes). Anyhow it showed lovers in the past, him being offered something (duh), a celebration of sorts, the happy family, then judgement and the death card (pulled two more and it was desolation and the world). So maybe he celebrates or thinks it's in the bag, presenting his perfect home life, only to be denied the position, feeling shamed in front of the entire world. It could also mean he gets in, then later is impeached. I don't see a permanent happy ending for him.

R526, I really don't have a method. Know that it is hard to ground yourself in situations where you are emotionally invested. I usually try to take a shower with cold water to snap out of it. Today I just drove around, then went to a specialty story and bought myself a new tarot deck, a small rose quartz, and some sage. Once you feel a little less emotional, you can meditate a little bit. Try not to think about problem and don't do readings until you can safely do a reading without feeling too nervous.

The deck I just bought and I am basing my readings on is the [bold]Eight Coins' Tattoo Tarot[/bold] by Lana Zellener

Here is a video review of the deck and you can see the illustrations on it. It is a beautiful deck.

I will use my limited knowledge of the Tattoo Tarot, the illustrations, and my intuition to come up with the answers. I will be using a 5 cards spread for all my readings: 1) Root of the problem/Situation 2) Internal/self, 3) External/Others/The outside, 4) Energies underneath/behind the scenes, 5) Truth/Outcome.

[bold]Governorships[/bold]:

[bold]Arizona[/bold]: David Garcia vs Dough Ducey

Right away I can tell you David Garcia has a Jerry Brown-esque sort of vibe. Really energetic, He could tell it to you straight. Garcia got all female cards only the last card was a male, which tells me the last card is about him. 7 of Swords (taking something with you/sneaking something), 6 of Wands (crowning achievement), Queen of Cups (Emotional/Nurturing female energy), Page of Pentacles (realizing that you need to get your hands dirty/rolling your sleeves and putting the work) , 8 of Cups (self-imposed barriers, looking for guidance, letting go of old ideas). The key here is to tap into the female vote. All the ladies in his cards are brunettes and some look young which tells me that he needs the female vote (especially Latinas) and young females to offset the advantages of Dough Ducey. Females are his core base and he needs to adjust his approach in this election in order to make them the centerpiece of his campaign and drive in the soccer mom, Latina, and young female vote. Even when he is talking to men, he has to frame his message to include females. Approach men by reminding them of their moms,sisters, wives and what females stand to lose with Republicans in power. This reading feels more like an advice since both candidates got warnings in the outcome position. He is not engaging females enough to win, so he needs to reshape his message to women because they will be there for him if he calls upon their support. Females will be his largest share of the votes. He just needs to reach for them. They will guaranteed the win otherwise he loses.

Dough Ducey, 9 of Cups (having everything in place), 9 of Wands without color (battle weary/wounded), 10 of Cups (having all/feeling complete), 3 of Wands (looking ahead), and 4 of Swords (in need of rest). First let me clarify the 9 of Wands. This deck has two versions of the 9 of Wands and one of them is colorless. The book says the author would look at this drawing to gain inspiration while trying to finish the deck but to me a black and white version of the 9 of wands feels gloomy. The warrior doesn't look wounded but yet ready for battle, the man looks frail and worried that he has nothing left to give. The 4 of Swords (needing rest) as the truth/outcome for Ducey almost makes me think he is suffering from some illness. Is Ducey about to die or in need of a big rest?

Ducey is the current governor of Arizona and has everything needed to win: 9 of Cups + 10 of Cups. The endorsements, the money, the family support, the people's support, and he is looking ahead to being re-elected (3 of Wands). Yet in the internal position (colorless 9 of Wands ) and outcome (4 of Swords) something is not right. The 9 of Wands + 4 of Swords can often signify illness and sometimes serious illnesses that can lead to retirement or even death. He has everything to win. To me he is the clear favorite, but in his case it might be personal events that might prevent him from winning in the end, or if he wins he might end up retiring in the near future. I feel a big personal loss is coming to him.

If Garcia wins, it's a combination that he was able to exploit and utilized the female population to his advantage (which he is not exploiting to its full potential right now) and his opponent wearing down near the end. If Ducey wins is because he was able to physically hold. He has the money and influence as a sitting governor to win again. His matter is being able to hold up in a rigorous campaign.

[bold]Georgia[/bold]: Stacey Abrams vs. Brian Kempt

Stacey Abrams: 5 of Coins (In need of help), Page of Cups (Fluidity/Love that is pure), 10 of Cups (having everything), The Sun (Enlightenment), The Magician (Having what it's needed/Ability).

The 5 of Coins (Root/Situation) tells me something is bothering her right now. It could be she is getting less than stellar news about the polling or possible vote turn out (Georgia has purged over 700k votes for who knows what nefarious reasons). There is a sense of loss and fear, but the energies around her are pretty good. In the outside/Others position she has everything, which tells me she has the people of Georgia behind her. The Sun underneath her tells me whatever she fears will be exposed, for good or bad. In her case, I feel it will be to her benefit. The Magician in the Outcome position tells me she should not worry, she has everything in her possession to win. Notice that the hand in the Magician card is a dark hand with flames coming out of it? I will take this sign as the cards telling me the black vote will come out for her and give her the win. It is the power of the black community of Georgia empowering the Democratic vote and pulling everyone else to vote Democrat. It's the black community dragging those lazy voters from their couches and into the voting booths. I cannot ignore the 5 of Coins in her reading (hopelessness) so I wonder if on election night she thinks she loses or there is a recount.

Brian Kempt: King Of Cups (fair leadership), Emperor (Leader), 3 of Coins (working in groups), 4 of Wands (accomplishments), 4 of Swords (needing rest). He has fantastic cards except for the outcome card. A strong leader with accomplishments yet needs to be put to rest? I wonder if the cards tell me he ends up resting in his laurels only to have Stacey snatch that win at the last moment. The Three of Coins usually means discussing work or working in groups, but in the illustration of the Tattoo Tarot there are three prairie dogs gathering (but to discuss what?). I'll probably feel better about this card as I get more familiar with this deck, but for now those three prairie dogs look more like rats and give me an uneasy feeling. What are these rats planning? I bet they are up to no good, purging more votes, perhaps stealing an election? Spirit tells me these "dogs play dirty."

Outcome: [bold]Stacey Abrams wins[/bold], there might be some drama on election night, a recount or something, but I feel like Brian Kempt doesn't serve as governor. There is a controversy here.

I have talked about this in previous threads, I want to say in the 2016 part 2 thread and 2017 part one thread. Back in 2016 I had a vision that I could feel psychic friends being blindfolded, as if they were being incapacitated. This came about because I saw many people trashing Hillary and I became really upset. If you're intuitive/psychic how could you not see Donald was not a monster and Hillary was right. It was such a strange vision, and I remember feeling numb right after I opened my eyes.

what's the point? one gets most of it wrong so everyone unfollows her. Another gets a lot of it right but it is all the things we don't want to hear. This is why I find Readings like Soullight's are almost unethical. Understand this, be aware of what they are doing behind the scenes (trying to end the Mueller investigation and break down our justice system, not the show they are putting upfront in order to distract the people.

Revealing light tarot did a reading on why the cards said Kav wouldn't be confirmed. Basically her reading said big forces worked hard to get him pushed through. She didn't see him having smooth sailing. David Johnson also did a video on why or how he was wrong. I give them kudos for having the backbone to try to find out what went wrong and admit their readings were wrong. I still don't see a good outcome for Kav or Trump in my own readings. It could be next week, next year, or farther in the future. I wish it were tomorrow.

Those readers and psychics don't read much about their subjects. Senator Collins' husband is a lobbyist with Russian connections, her complicity comes before women's rights just like any GOP Senator's complicity does. Readings from the Empress attempted post-NAFTA readings on Obrador and Trudeau -- she's in the Midwest U.S. so she doesn't have a clue about Maxime Bernier and how his new party could cause a schism in the Conservative Party, she doesn't know NDP Jagmeet Singh doesn't yet even have a seat in the House of Commons, what can she possibly read other than "oh there are occasional challenges, mixed news on the horizon" -- no shit, Canada's Parliament has a few political parties and he's made an unpopular decision regarding the pipeline. Occasional challenges and mixed news happen to EVERYONE.

It's frustrating to hear them go on about their visions and interpretations when one reads about how much money their subject's received from Russia, or that the FBI is investigating their subject about some financial dealings out of the U.S... I watched the videos for the soothsaying, but they're more saying than soothing at present.

At least Linda G said she'd stop reading if her guides led her astray about some topics we're anxious about. What bugs me, and I can't even correct this in my own readings, is that timing is so key -- we're desperate for swift, brutal retribution and very little seems to be happening. David Johnson and Rosie have gone off the rails. In Rosie's case, I worry she is experiencing some breakdown of sorts. You could see the transformation progressed as the political climate got more toxic. The reading she did about the immigration camps where she cried on camera was the moment when her demeanor changed. I do thank her for the earlier readings because a lot of what she said came truth.

Soulight never predicts anything. She goes from "it could be this but could be this too"... I take her readings with a big grain of salt. Rosie and Soulight are good for reading the vibes/undercurrents of the issues, but don't get the outcome quite well. I would listen to them if I wanted a read on "what's going on behind the scenes." but not for a prediction, especially if it involved timelines.

Readings by The Empress, did a great reading on Mitch MCturtle that remind me of early Rosie, but she continues to reference Bernie Sanders as something positive which automatically makes me question her judgement. It's like name dropping Vladimir Putin when talking about Jerry Brown...

Linda G predicted Hurricane Michael, I remember very well she said there would be a late-in-the-year hurricane that would come out of nowhere and cause devastation. Michael fits that description. I don't I remember ever seeing a Hurricane come so out of the blue and with so much power.

Which kind of corresponds with many of our readings that natural disasters combined with the election and Mueller report would be a 1,2,3 punch to the Trump's presidency.

I have had this feeling and have said this before that many of the important inroads Democrats do are at the local level. The Republicans losing the governorship of Texas and Arizona or the Senate seats in Texas, Arizona, Tennessee would be as devastating as losing the house (even if at the end Republicans win the Senate because of other wins in other states). Texas turning purple and becoming a battleground state in time for 2020 would be a devastating blow to the Republican party.

IIRC, either Linda or one of the other readers said that it would be a series of three events happening in rapid succession that would be the beginning of the end to fat Donnie.

Whoever it was said that the events would not be connected and one of them would be considered small or not as significant.

I wonder if the events of the last week are the sign. Hurricane Michael that sprang up out of no where almost overnight and blasted trumplandia. The stock market took a nosedive and doesn't look to recover soon and the killing of the journalist in Turkey.

The dotard has no idea what to do or how to handle an y of these crises. I can see him lashing out and blaming instead of doing anything to help the hurricane victims or keeping his pie hole shut about the fed.
