It's the Time of the Treason (The Mueller Investigation Part 38)

Continued Discussion

It's the time of the treason when love runs high

In this time, give it to me easy and let me try with pleasured hands

To take you into treason to (promised lands)

What's your name? Who's your š™‘š™”š™–š™™š™™š™® ? Is he rich like me?

Has he taken, any time.. to show you what you need to live...

It's the Time of the Treason for loving...

This is James Comey's response to today's Fisa release on Howdy Doody:

"That’s it? Dishonest and misleading memo wrecked the House intel committee, destroyed trust with Intelligence Community, damaged relationship with FISA court, and inexcusably exposed classified investigation of an American citizen. For what? DOJ & FBI must keep doing their jobs."

Can we please hang Devin Nunes upside down by his toes? He'd make a great pinata for those poor hostage immigrant children.

But Butina is the real deal Red Sparrow.

by Anonymousreply 32July 22, 2018 2:55 AM

Butina sure got around with scores of Republican politicians.

What's baffling is that there are that many straight male Republicans in politics. I thought most were deep closet cases.

Wonder if she had some lesbian action as well?

Isn’t it best he be allowed to remain?

It’s considered an official government account - all tweets are a matter of public record, even if he tries to remove them.

Isn’t it possible that when he lies to the American public via an official government account that that can be held against him in a court of law?

All his Twitter bullshit has been memorialized and can be used to help him bring him down, no??

It's amazing to me that through everything that's been uncovered, through all the evil and treasonous machinations, not one Democratic name has come up. Not one. Think about that. The bullshit that all politicians are corrupt and evil and there's no difference between the parties should never be allowed to be spoken again without harsh rebuke. The slime filling the ranks of the political swamp is 100% Repug.

Specifically, the judge found that ā€œthe President presents the @realDonaldTrump account as being a presidential account as opposed to a personal account and, more importantly, uses the account to take actions that can be taken only by the President as Presidentā€ – such as announcing the appointments and terminations of government officials.

It would make sense for Assange to go back to the US and be pardoned by Trump. The only reason he did all this was because he resented Obama for not sticking his neck out for him. That's when he let himself, and his resources, be used by Putin.

Lindsey Graham on Face the Nation.

For months, nothing riles Lindsey more than that FISA warrant on Carter Page. Lindsey further attacks the Steele dossier.

Seriously, what is the connection between Lindsey Graham and Carter Page? Is it just Lindsey believes a big injustice happened with Carter Page? Why him in particular? Was this an assigned focus by McConnell?

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 81July 22, 2018 3:46 PM

This shouldn't surprise me, but i just found about 20 fake Facebook accounts that were Anti-Trump. The Russians are trying so hard to sow dissension and discord they are doing propaganda for both sides so to speak to turn people against each other and ruin the US. Previously, I had mostly seen fake Twitter and Facebook MAGA type accounts. Is this a recent change or was this part of their propaganda and misinformation scheme all along?

And why can't Facebook stop this shit?

by Anonymousreply 82July 22, 2018 3:55 PM

r62 Carter finally admitted he was an advisor to the Kremlin, but then said it was informal....he was just having some conversations with people at the Kremlin, as one does.

I don't get Lindsey, either. McCain is the one who was concerned enough he gave the dossier straight to Jim Comey. And while not all of it has been proven true, some things have been. Lindsey is either compromised or playing some game to get info from Trump or. I don't know. Even Rubio was defending the FISA warrant on Page this morning.

by Anonymousreply 83July 22, 2018 3:55 PM

Every time Carter Page pops back up in the news and goes on his little interview tour, I always wonder the same thing: How is it that he hasn't been arrested and formally charged with something yet?

by Anonymousreply 84July 22, 2018 3:56 PM

R82 please report it to Facebook IMMEDIATELY and see what they do. They are under great scrutiny right now, and they know it. Report back to us too. If they don’t take care of it, tell them you have friends in the press and intend to report that Facebook is STILL allowing Russian interference even after they promised to crack down on it.

by Anonymousreply 85July 22, 2018 4:01 PM

R 83 The real story here was that the origins and political nature of the Steele document was spelled out in great detail in the FISA papers.

For Ms. Lindsay to harp on it at this point as the cause for the warrant is just dishonest. I don't understand why the interviewer didn't try harder to hammer that home. Maybe ask him to comment on the MAIN reasons for the warrant.

by Anonymousreply 86July 22, 2018 4:02 PM

R82 So what accounts are these? If this is happening, you can give us the accounts and we can judge for ourselves.

by Anonymousreply 87July 22, 2018 4:04 PM

[quote]For months, nothing riles Lindsey more than that FISA warrant on Carter Page. Lindsey further attacks the Steele dossier.

The recent news puts to rest any ginned-up hypotheses Miz Linz wants to push about abuse of the FISA system. Jake Tapper destroyed Carter Page on this. Trump appointees advanced the documents in front of Republican appointed judges.

Plus, as someone above pointed out, her heartthrob John McCain is the one who introduced the Steele Dossier into the justice system. How come no one ever asks this Southern Belle why that is?

by Anonymousreply 88July 22, 2018 4:13 PM

My god Carter Page is slippery. Go get him, Jake!!! I adore Jake Tapper! Tapper was relentless.

On AM Joy, Maxine Waters told us the essence of Trump's meeting with Putin. It is about getting those sanctions lifted and a plan of action for the 2018 U.S. midterm elections.

Where are Pelosi, Schummer, Gillibrand, Stoyer, and all the other Democrats not overtly backing up Maxine? They could go after Trump-Putin with the same zeal they have for promoting undocumented immigration and chasing out fellow Democrats who crossed the line in overtures and touching of unconsenting women.

On this issue, Maxine is right. Instead of bonding on "for the people" campaign theme, these Democrats need to get out there espouse the truth, and demand that Putin doesn't set foot on U.S. soil.

Maxine has more spunk and fortitude than any of them.

by Anonymousreply 91July 22, 2018 4:15 PM

r84 I have no idea except that the point of FISAs isn't usually to bring charges but to collect intel. But to keep getting those warrants you have to prove they are showing results. In each new application, the blacked out areas start consuming more and more space, which means they were adding information.

There must be something in there, because remember Gowdy read all the FISA materials, Nunes didn't, they released Nunes' memo, and Gowdy quit. While fundraising emails were being sent out. He still acts like a fucking dick, but he was on TV this morning saying it might be time for Trump's team to quit if Trump won't admit forcefully Russia interfered with the election. Gowdy knows something is coming, and he's getting the hell out before the shit hits.

by Anonymousreply 92July 22, 2018 4:17 PM

I bet a lot of GOP members a re shitting bricks since Butina was arrested and the whole NRA operation has been exposed. Add that to the very specific warrants for 12 GRU members who obviously worked under orders from Vlad, and the next batch of indictments will likely name Americans. Personally I want to see Steve Bannon, Brad Parscale, Jared Kushner, and the Mercers get arrested. I wonder if that's why Bannon has been spending so much time in Europe. Probably thinks he can outrun the reach of the Feds. LOL!

by Anonymousreply 95July 22, 2018 5:33 PM

Since Lindsey Graham appears almost daily for interviews before mostly female anchors. He interviews mostly on Fox, but appears on other networks as well, such as the recent CBS interview.

When are these anchors going to confront Graham about his fervor for Trump, and flipping when convenient, then flipping back. He needs to justify his claims and evidence and be pressed on his motives.

The media treats Lindsey as a truth-telling expert guided by ethics. They present him as bucking the party norm to do what's right and fair. This image is a farce. Graham, in fact, is the Senate's biggest face out there before the cameras championing and defending Trump. He needs to be asked why, and not accept the canned answer as good enough. See his voting record.

South Carolina has all kinds of problems. He needs to be focused on resolving some of those rather than trying to undermine the FBI/DOJ to keep the Bones Spurs operatives from facing justice, and allow Putty to continue undermining the U.S. elections.

by Anonymousreply 96July 22, 2018 5:36 PM

The Orange Cheetolini has once again done what he does so well: put forth a straw-man argument about Russia to deflect from reality. He now asserts that the "fake news" has given him such a hard time about his meeting with Putin and his groveling before the Russian dictator because they (and the Dems) want war with Russia. You despicable son of a bitch -- are you fucking kidding me. No one wants to go to war with Russia. No one has mentioned that. Plus, there is a very wide gulf -- and many options -- between being in Putin's pocket -- on the one hand -- and war with Russia -- on the other. But, he conveniently skips over all of those pesky facts to excoriate his critics. It is a tried-and-true tactic that he has used many times before -- unfortunately, with a lot of success. He puts this garbage out there, his supporters embrace it and make it gospel, Sarah Sandbags, when asked, pretends to explain and sort of walk it back (but not really), and then it gets lost in the shuffle of whatever current atrocity he has committed.

Rinse and repeat.

We cannot be rid of this monster soon enough.

I think Miss Thang does all of the talk shows because she's the only one the shows can get.

Most of these criminals know the jig is up and it is just a matter of time before they are exposed. They sure as shit aren't going to be out doing the talk show circuit when they could get their feet held to the fire. Besides, they need all the time they can get to hide their money and assets.

USans, what are your Congress Reps and senators doing to counter and resist? My Congresswoman was one of 600 arrested at a protest, went to visit a detention camp in San Antonio, introduces or co-sponsors legislation and speaks out on TV and Twitter. She is, of course, Democratic. My filters are such that the only other DC legislators' tweets others boost into my TL are Rep. Ted Lieu and Sen. Adam Schiff. Her main Republican competitor in the primary had a piece in the voters' pamphlet, which came out this week, about 'draining the swamp' and 70% of the paragraphs were anti-immigrant, so I expect my Congresswoman, an immigrant, to have an even greater percentage of victory, beyond the usual 70%-75% voter capture.

Disassociating Bone Spurs from sexualization is not easy. Flaunting, flattering, and fawning before daddy Putty like an incestuous school girl doesn't neuter the situation. The "grab them by the pussy" celeb formulated his own persona.

As shown on CNN, residents at "The Village" in Florida don't see it that way. They will believe everything Trump says and all he does. It's over a third of the U.S. population that is hard core about it.

Being conservative is one thing; being senior citizen cultists is another. One would think long-life battles would enhance wisdom. Nope, just stubbornness.

What happens with Miz Lindsey is that she has a very aggressive professional media staff who calls around and "networks" with the producers of the talk shows on various networks. These producers, etc. a re told Miz Lindsey might make herself available for them to discuss the Helsinki Meeting or North Korea, or immigration, etc. and while she supports Donald they don't agree on everything..." So producers, who love to fill the time on their shows, will leap at the chance to book Miz Lindsey on the off chance she will say something interesting or controversial. It is also true that Miz Lindsey and her staffers love to leak things so they often secretly tell the press things which further ingratiates them. It's all very cozy, meanwhile her profile on the national stage is raised considerably and she very well may consider another run for the Presidency, only if she does she will have more backing and perhaps even an oligarch or two...or three...or more.

I'm not religious but I have read the Bible and the Book of Revelations, and when I see right wing deplorables comparing Donald Trump to Jesus Christ I can't help but be reminded of the part in that book where they say that many people will follow a false prophet thinking it is of God, when it has really been sent from "the other place." The man will fool a lot of people into believing he is of God, but he isn't.

Could there be a better description of Trump and what he is doing today?

by Anonymousreply 145July 22, 2018 9:04 PM

by Anonymousreply 149July 22, 2018 9:53 PM

These Trump loyalists want authoritarianism, someone making promises of a world that has past, and find scapegoats for their misery. They love his name-calling and bullying tweets. They view that as strength and leadership. Trump tells them he is on their side at rallies, but all he has done is give handouts to the very rich. His judge nominations are about those with a record of being pro-big business/corporate/national & international banking. The social conservative stances coupled with that priority are to throw juicy bones to the base. They devoutly watch Fox News, thinking it is the only network being truthful. They are unable to separate propaganda from news; and are not conditioned to critical thinking. Evangelicals are already conditioned not to question voices that exploit their biases.

Who is misleading the Deplorables? First and foremost, it’s Fox. The people there, such as Sean Hannity, are traitors, and need to be treated as such. You don’t write copy praising Hitler in the US in 1942. The Constitution is not a suicide pact.

by Anonymousreply 188July 23, 2018 12:03 AM

Every now and again the thread falls apart a bit.

Who are the recipients of the biggest NRA donations? I'd go find a listing but I'm working. That's the only place I'd start with the list for traitors.

And what's the matter with "Death to Traitors" as a DNC rallying cry?

In all seriousness, I'd call it something like "the Real Deal" and use language only remotely tied to the pigs: "tired of the lies and treachery? Do you feel the need to get America back on track and working for everyone? It's time we started making government work for everyone." Something along those lines.

Attack back hard when attacked. He wants to say Pocahontas, call him Bone Spurs. He wants to claim we're for war, let him know it's already happening and we need to respond diplomatically, in the very least, with greater sanctions.

I'd like to see them copy Hillary's jobs and rehab for the Rust belt programs and start saying things like " America for All Americans in the Real Deal" or "America is Already Great - Let's Keep it That Way!"

Fuck the deplorables. We need the people who voted in protest and the people who wanted change. We need them back on board in making America stand tall in the world, proud of our friendships and history. We need them to love our Constitution and the freedoms it brings. We need the independents who are afraid and fearful of economic insecurity, and the elderly under threat of having their SS eliminated, finally, we need the disenfranchised youth who feel hopeless and don't vote.

And r195 nailed it to the wall. What we have seen so far is a joke — I shudder to think about what he’s going to do. He will NEVER put the country first as Nixon did, so it is going to be epic and a complete horror show. I still sometimes dream that Mad Dog will sleep de his jugular in a moment of patriotic clarity.

by Anonymousreply 201July 23, 2018 1:44 AM

You know they will, r199.

by Anonymousreply 204July 23, 2018 1:53 AM

We need to be hearing the words ā€œback channelā€ in the news a lot more.

Like why isn’t the focus on that?

BACK CHANNEL, people.

by Anonymousreply 206July 23, 2018 1:55 AM

The Mueller investigation is probably the second most important investigation that the FBI has ever done.

The most important FBI investigation began in the early 1990s, and is so sensitive that they will *never* publicly acknowledge it.

Something happened in this country that is far bigger than 'Russiagate'.

by Anonymousreply 207July 23, 2018 1:58 AM

Deplorable thanks Russia:

And yet you know about it, R207?

by Anonymousreply 210July 23, 2018 2:05 AM

R207 that something is extreme wealth vs everyone else. We are run by a global oligarchy.

by Anonymousreply 211July 23, 2018 2:05 AM

Seriously we just need to get it into the Deplorables minds that Drumpf was an Alt-Left plant and that the Alt-Left is working with Russia to come steal their guns and that Mueller, a dedicated Republican, is working tirelessly to expose the truth (and HRC's involvement) and make sure they get to keep their guns.

Why the fuck was Trump threatening the President of Iran using all capital letters at 11:24 tinight? Motherfucker. I’m almost scared to go to sleep for fear of what could happen overnight.

HE MUST BE ARRESTED!

by Anonymousreply 219July 23, 2018 4:12 AM

Trump is just working the same magic he did to solve the US problem with North Korea and then Russia. First come the threats of nuclear annihilation and then comes the awkward meeting followed by Trump claiming his brilliant diplomacy that averted a war he almost started.

He's an arsonist who wants to be declared a hero after he is photographed with a fire extinguisher standing next to the rubble.

by Anonymousreply 220July 23, 2018 4:21 AM

[quote]My God, it’s taking a long time! My prediction is that Mueller can take down the Trump family, close associates, and leading Congress people. But will he?

Just keep in mind that given the size of this investigation, it's actually going pretty quickly. This is the largest political scandal in United States history, bar none.

Can he take them out? Who the fuck knows. My current pet theory is that at some point Mueller's people will have to release information that stinks so fucking bad it'll be impossible to ignore.

by Anonymousreply 226July 23, 2018 5:30 AM

Trump will never put the country first. He might, however, resign if it means avoiding extensive prison time. His cabinet might 25th Amendment him if it means saving their own skins.

A lot depends on how clean the next elections are.

by Anonymousreply 227July 23, 2018 5:47 AM

Add two words:

"For the People---and America."

Make sure the background on signs is the flag. It doesn't belong to the Deplorables.

by Anonymousreply 228July 23, 2018 6:06 AM

Can't there be some Amendment amendment or fine tuning that includes syphilitic dementia as a disability preventing a President from fulfilling his duties and responsibilities, and some amendment about who's allowed to run for President mandating tax returns publication, an actual, reliable health report, and banning nutcases compromised by foreign states?

Apparently nearly 60 years ago Americans wigged out because (*gasp*) a Roman Catholic might become President.

56 years later Trump happens and he can't even be turfed out because one party cheats its way to power and selects lowest-common-denominator hatemongers to run for office.

by Anonymousreply 229July 23, 2018 6:09 AM

Democratic politicians and pundits need to go after Trump's false dichotomy of "love Putin, or want war." We were not and are not on a war footing with Russia.

Remind the Deplorables that they used to regard Reagan as the President Who Won the Cold War. Whatever happened with that, huh? Does Trump disrespect St. Ronnie?!

Rub THAT in their disgusting smug faces.

Then go after Trump's disrespect for The Greatest Generation, as he scorns Europe where many died in WWI and WWII, and questions the value of what arose from the ashes of victory: NATO.

Tell them Trump is saying their service and sacrifices were IN VAIN. Say his favorite movie is "Saving Private Putin."

Tell Czech-, Hungarian-, Ukrainian-, and Cuban-Americans that Trump would give the go-ahead to Russian conquest.

Tell the voters that "GOP" stands for "Government Of Putin." Say that in a #sad tone.

IOW, Michelle Obama's "high road" is so elevated, it's for the birds.

by Anonymousreply 230July 23, 2018 6:33 AM

r219 The admin started ramping up the Iran bullshit earlier in the week saying Iran is preparing massive computer attacks on us. Trump is a cornered rat who has to change the subject somehow.

by Anonymousreply 234July 23, 2018 7:40 AM

trump changes the news narrative again by threatening war with Iran on twitter. Jesus, how long can this shit go on?

by Anonymousreply 235July 23, 2018 9:40 AM

I believe what many of you believe, that Trump will not go quietly, he will want to fight this and will be encouraged to fight it. But since he really is a megalomaniac, a bully and a coward, he may decide to cut his losses if there's too much exposure. Trump,IMO lacks the capacity to feel embarrassed. But he will not put up with a loss of assets, he will not want to be seen as weak. On the one hand, he may try to cut a deal with Mueller so he can bail, on the other hand he might decide to fight. But if he does decide to stay and fight, he might very well become "inconvenient" for others who don't want the exposure. If he becomes "inconvenient," he may have an accident or a life threatening health crisis. Trump's meeting with his son Eric was a business meeting. I bet they are suffering business problems right now. that's why he wanted to meet with his son before he went to see Putin.

by Anonymousreply 236July 23, 2018 10:59 AM

[quote]If he becomes "inconvenient," he may have an accident or a life threatening health crisis.

And because it's well understood how such an event will play with Deplorables, it could be managed so as to look like the work of any or all of Trump's straw man villains.

by Anonymousreply 237July 23, 2018 11:26 AM

You know he looks like he is in horrible physical condition, and even for him, he is under a lot of stress, much of it self created. But at his age it is entirely plausible that he could have a fucking stroke in the middle of the night on the White House surrounded by his Secret Service, etc.

If he had the opportunity to cut a deal that allows him to resign he wouldn't give a fuck about anyone else. He'd go. Because then he could spend all his time having rallies. He'd be a celebrity fundraiser of the Far Right. I have to wonder though how stable his business interest are. Because once he leaves office (one way or another) all the deals and licensing agreements Ivanka, Jared and the rest have made are dead in the water.

by Anonymousreply 238July 23, 2018 11:35 AM

Yes R231 - The IC has been saying for some time now (at least since Obama's second term) that massive cyber attacks on the US infrastructure were being readied by potential foes.

We have an open Internet; and in the interest of ā€œgee whizā€ Apps and capitalist-satisfying cost savings, we are hooking everything to it: our banking and financial system, our home security networks; reservoir management; communications devices; our cars; media; heating and electrical plants, food distribution, you name it.

It will not take much to bring the whole ill-considered mess crashing down in the winter

by Anonymousreply 239July 23, 2018 11:51 AM

They changed the results as they were sent from point of origination to the central final tabulations point where the totals are recorded. With thousands of precincts reporting all over the state it's impossible to track a vote from the precinct it originates in, to the point were the state count is recorded. We need paper ballots.

R239, Howard Dean said that cyber security and cyber warfare were the to major national security dangers we faced...he said that in 2002 or there abouts.

by Anonymousreply 240July 23, 2018 12:28 PM

Trump is wandering the White House in a bathrobe, carrying a pint of Haagen Dazs rum raisin that he eats straight out of the carton. He only puts it down to pull his phone out of the robe pocket to tweet his latest rant.

by Anonymousreply 241July 23, 2018 12:36 PM

R241, I picture him with big macs and fries, smearing ketchup on his PJs, along with a couple cans of Coke, and he's sitting in his bed with his TV remote and his phone within reach while he gorges himself. He probably has a valet who is seriously underpaid, to help him bathe and dress. Ugh. can you imagine? I get nauseated just imagining it.

by Anonymousreply 242July 23, 2018 12:41 PM

I picture him in a waffle bathrobe with Da Big Boss embroidered across the back in fancy script, slumped on an overstuffed couch with a silver plate tray in front of him. The tray features two Filet O Fish, a small tureen of special sauce, and a gold flecked Venetian glass bowl of See's candies. In one fist, a bag of fries. In the other, a greasy device.

by Anonymousreply 243July 23, 2018 12:56 PM

Miss Linds needs to shut up with her obsession over protecting Carter Page. If Page is indicted, he has lawyers to challenge anything, and will have his day in court if it comes to that.

Miss Linds trying to dictate decisions of Republican appointed FISA Court Judges who followed the law and established methodology, is absurd.

Pure and simple, Miss Linds is trying to destroy the Mueller investigation.

by Anonymousreply 252July 23, 2018 2:20 PM

by Anonymousreply 254July 23, 2018 2:27 PM

Lindsey Graham's attacks on the FISA process and his efforts to discredit it are a serious matter and I'd like to know WTF his end game is. This goes beyond aspirations to a cabinet post or even a run for POTUS. This is beyond pandering. And he knows it. If he's getting his marching orders from the White House there is something way more sinister going on with Lindsey.

by Anonymousreply 255July 23, 2018 2:44 PM

Thank you OP once again for keeping these threads going. Love the title. Love the photo.

And Jesus the trolls are trying really hard to distract, aren't they? What makes me laugh is how indignant trolls are for being called out trolls. All it does is tell me they're worried about something. Talk about concern trolls!

by Anonymousreply 256July 23, 2018 2:44 PM

What are these threads even about anymore? Bunch of incoherent bitches complaining about everything and anything they can think of.

by Anonymousreply 257July 23, 2018 2:47 PM

Have any prominent Republicans (members of congress) even commented on the all caps rant from last night?

by Anonymousreply 258July 23, 2018 2:49 PM

Miss Lindsay is guilty of taking Russian money also...most Republicans are and something needs to be done.

by Anonymousreply 259July 23, 2018 2:49 PM

Why can't Carter Page be arrested? Has he never broken a law? What the fuck is Mueller doing?

by Anonymousreply 260July 23, 2018 2:53 PM

I have to say I have run out of patience, I honestly need something that will finally shut big mouth Trump up, I can not take it anymore.

by Anonymousreply 261July 23, 2018 2:58 PM

We know that Rand Paul is extremely guilty of working with Russians. Will there just be a list of names? Names of the Republican Traitors? I want to see them arrested.

by Anonymousreply 262July 23, 2018 3:04 PM

Take a one quarter turn to the left, R261. Breathe. Turn off the television, computer, iphone, and take a walk. Plan a hike or trip in nature, soon.

The real world is not in media and he's their creation, ultimately. Everything changes, and though it's certainly imbalanced out there right now, it will come back into balance. If it doesn't, it won't matter anyway. You have my sympathy and I understand.

Mueller cannot work fast enough. I wish him a long and happy life.

by Anonymousreply 263July 23, 2018 3:06 PM

FFS people.....Why the hell does everyone question WHY the GOP defends and stands behind Trump ?....We know the answer....The Butina charging documents state that THERE ARE SECRET SOCIETIES WITHIN THE GOP THAT ARE ALIGNED WITH RUSSIA. They are TRAITORS...ALL OF THEM...regardless of their rhetoric. STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR THEM.

by Anonymousreply 264July 23, 2018 3:20 PM

So I know the Tea Party is old news but is it possible that the Russians started that whole movement since most of the TP seems to be die hard Trumpers now?

by Anonymousreply 265July 23, 2018 3:34 PM

R264, yes, we know. We call them Freepers aka: evangelical christian cultists in all their iterations. We know they're traitors through complicity with hookers, taking dirty money, getting kompromatted with ???, laundering porn star panties, you name it. Trump and Putin have been involved since 2013. Pence was instrumental in forging bonds throughout Eastern Europe and the old Soviet regime - enough to inflame xtians into believing they were under attack.

We know what we're up against because Hillary already told us about the vast, right wing conspiracy a long time ago. Some of us actually believed her and could see this coming. I told a friend from India to stay the fuck out of the US because it's going fascist when they robbed us the first fucking time.

I'll be damned if I give up even though I know the odds and money are against me. This is why we can spot the fucking apologist and concern trolls. We don't give up and know enough not to articulate weakness. They interpret it that way but they're wrong. Keep cornering a group of people and they will have no choice but to fight back....

by Anonymousreply 266July 23, 2018 3:39 PM

No, The Tea Party was bankrolled by the Koch Bros. And, back then, the Koch Bros. didn't take orders from Putin.

by Anonymousreply 267July 23, 2018 3:40 PM

That's right, R267, and they turned on the Kochs, and called them and the Bushies 'cucks.' Pence and Cruz promised the Xtian right and the Tea Party fucks to Trump in exchange for ? Protection? Like Miz Lindz, they changed their tunes about Trump once the promises were made. There's a lot of evidence that the USSC allowed political preaching from their pulpits to effect just this assurance. It worked.

Like someone here said, about 3 threads back, these relationships have been getting solidified for decades. Once they had power, they merely piggybacked off of the Koch's methods and setup. Piece of traitorous cake.

by Anonymousreply 268July 23, 2018 3:46 PM

What I agree with is that there should be more of an information push towards the Deplorables regarding Russia and its gun laws (as in NO GUNS ALLOWED).and while Hillary pushed for coal miners to get get training to be suitable for other jobs Trump is now pushing people to learn, and love, Russia and Russian citizens have to do in order to survive Russia's oligarchy system. You just know all Deplorables know about Russia is from a bunch of episodes of The Americans on FX.

by Anonymousreply 269July 23, 2018 3:47 PM

The Deplorable demographic moves from one snake oil salesman to the next. They refuse to face their own bias and issues and instead look for someone who they see as a sounding board who validates their fears and bigotry (in exchange for their financial and vocal support).

In a way, deliberate or not. Trump stole the Tea Party / Deplorable demographic away from the Koch Bros. And, for a while (still do?), the Koch Bros. were ok with that since they only cared about the end result (of their bribed senators and other government officials being able to push through legislation that favored the Koch Bros.' agenda while all eyes are on Trump and the Deplorables).

by Anonymousreply 270July 23, 2018 3:54 PM

R266: Correction: Trump and Putin have been involved since around 2007. Putin's oligarch buddies have been funneling money through Trump for years and Trump has been entertaining the notion of a Presidential run sine the late 80's.

by Anonymousreply 271July 23, 2018 3:55 PM

Thanks, R271. I was using the NRA meeting as the starting point. I forgot the bailouts.

by Anonymousreply 272July 23, 2018 3:58 PM

by Anonymousreply 274July 23, 2018 4:01 PM

Republican Never-Trumper Tom Nichols, referring to Trump's relatively steady approval rate:

Once again, the obvious lesson: Trump's support is completely detached from any kind of policy or action. It's based purely in resentment and stupidity. Yes, yes, "But Gorsuch," I know. Any other president - one being judged on results - would be in the cellar by now.

by Anonymousreply 275July 23, 2018 4:02 PM

I'd have to say we get the occasional, annoying concern troll, R273, but there are some genuinely concerned people out there who find these threads and get valuable information. I have neighbors like this who grab me all the time, practically in tears. Older folks are terrified of this shit.

I put that out there, somewhat sarcastically, in the same post, R274, but I do appreciate the warning and won't engage or hold anything anymore.

I don't resort to the trolldar often, so I appreciate you blocking and informing me.

Just as a brief gossip break: Hope Hicks and Porter the wife beater were spotted together in her NYC apartment, and out running in Central Park, while trying to be discreet this past weekend. Many in the evangelical industry that include mega-churches, TV and radio broadcasting, and fundamentalists hate groups for profit; have foreign ties that include Russia, the Likud party in Israel, and promoting anti-gay actions in places such as Romania and Africa. Kim Davis wasn't sent to Romania to visit Vlad the Impaler's castle or feed gypsies. Check who was behind it.

by Anonymousreply 280July 23, 2018 4:14 PM

I love how they whine about a global, NWO conspiracy while at the same time participating in it. End times Kimmy.

by Anonymousreply 281July 23, 2018 4:17 PM

IMO I don't see why anyone would be shocked to know that foreign interests were establishing or bankrolling groups in the USA with divisive political propaganda to manipulate voters or shape public opinion. Back in WW II we had that kind of shit going on in Washington D.C. with ultra Conservative isolationists type and the racism, and all kinds of vile crap. This is the 21st century version.

by Anonymousreply 284July 23, 2018 4:19 PM

I'm wondering what investigative journalism is going on behind the scenes while Mueller continues his work. I have to think a lot of journalists are currently running down the connections between Butina, the nra and republican politicians and will publish a blockbuster story soon. Something like Farrow's explosive expose of Weinstein.

by Anonymousreply 285July 23, 2018 4:22 PM

R278, they'd be sorely mistaken. I'm compassionate, but I'm also the bitch who tells the annoying little shits to get off the fucking battle field if they can't handle it.

Note that Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) removed from her Twitter profile her occupation with the National Rifle Association.

by Anonymousreply 289July 23, 2018 5:18 PM

Mueller is waiting till after the new congress is seated 01.03.2019.

He has been rolling out book marks but not the serious indictments.

Plus, it appears that he is using RICO, and Rico rolls out from the bottom.

We may see a rash of Congressmen indicted as the first jolt.

It's like setting a Christmas Tree on fire.

by Anonymousreply 291July 23, 2018 5:26 PM

Loesch's people made a statement that this is just Progressive bullshit and a fake story stating she didn't have any mention of the NRA in her profile prior to the Butina stuff. Someone else did a search and found that she did have NRA references in her bio but it was in 2017.

Who really gives a crap about the origins of the investigation at this point?

It has turned up a lot of criminal behavior, fraud, etc...

It must have been a worthwhile warrant given all the goods it turned up.

Manafort trial delayed until July 31.

There are also five names floating around that are claimed to be the five granted immunity by Mueller. I'm not linking to anyone Fox related so I'm waiting to see if someone else verifies them.

by Anonymousreply 312July 23, 2018 7:28 PM

CNN: A federal judge has unsealed the names of the five witnesses granted immunity to testify in the Paul Manafort case:

James Brennan

Donna Duggan

Conor O’Brien

Cindy Laporta

Dennis Raico

by Anonymousreply 313July 23, 2018 7:30 PM

Thank you! The Fox reporter said one name was Tony Podesta. That's why I waited.

Now....who are these people???

by Anonymousreply 314July 23, 2018 7:31 PM

James Brennan, Donna Duggan, Conor O’Brien, Cindy Laporta, and Dennis Raico have never before had their names typed into Google as often as they will be today.

by Anonymousreply 315July 23, 2018 7:34 PM

Those five witnesses: James Brennan, Conor O'Brien, Donna Duggan, Dennis Raico and Cindy Laporta are in the banking/mortgage industry. They are witnesses to Manafort's suspicious activity reports.

by Anonymousreply 316July 23, 2018 7:34 PM

R316 Guess they would need immunity if they helped with Manafort's money laundering and other dirty deals.

by Anonymousreply 317July 23, 2018 7:42 PM

Only 8 more days left in July! That Oracle that goes by a letter of the alphabet said that the Deep State will be taken down finally, finally, finally REALLY TIS TIME, GUYS in July 2018.

Muriel deleted all threads concerning that prophetic letter a few weeks ago.

Hillary's indictment must be coming within 8 days!!!!

by Anonymousreply 338July 23, 2018 8:44 PM

I’ve figured out why the media is publicly ignoring the implications of Tad Devine. It’s because of the same reason I don’t post my disgust and suspicions regarding Bernie on my Facebook - fearful of complete meltdown and unprecedented anger from BernieBro friends (propped by Putin no doubt). I stopped posting on the Guardian after 10 years due to the amount of Russian trolls ā€œsupportingā€ Bernie. The media is more scared of BernieBros (propped up by Putin & numbers artificially inflated) than they are of losing our democracy.

We all know what the implications of Tad Devine on that list mean. Few journalists are courageous enough to say it publicly. They can’t take the heat.

by Anonymousreply 339July 23, 2018 9:07 PM

CNN would be embarrassed about a Tad Devine revelation. That network has had Bernie on since the 2016 election to do interviews, respond to Trump, Town Halls, debates with Ted Cruz and others, and give the alternative response to Republican initiatives. Devine, Weaver, Jane Sanders; never want them for in charge of public/taxpayer money.

Jill Stein’s Recount Cash Pays for Her Russia Legal Defense

Money that Jill Stein raised to recount votes in 2016 swing states is being used by her campaign to pay for legal bills stemming from the investigation of Russian interference in the last presidential election.

In June, The Daily Beast reported that the the U.S. Green Party candidate’s campaign, which raised $7.3 million for recounts in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, had in 2017 stopped disclosing its monthly spending with the Federal Election Commission. Later that month, the Jill Stein for President committee filed a slew of reports that reveal spending on lawyers who are not trying to get inside any voting machines.

At the end of May 2018, according to the most recent FEC filing, the Stein campaign paid the ā€œPartnership for Civil Justiceā€ $66,441.60; that is on top of a $31,536 payment made in January, and more than the Stein campaign had in cash on hand by November 2016.

The Partnership for Civil Justice Fund is a nonprofit law firm whose mission is to ā€œdefend and advance fundamental civil, constitutional and human rights,ā€ per a 2016 IRS filing. On its website, the group notes that it is representing Stein in her dealings before the the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

In May 2018, the Stein campaign also paid $9,325 in attorney fees to Miller & Chevalier. In August 2017, Politico described it as ā€œa boutique firm in Washingtonā€ that had taken on the case of Paul Manafort, the former Trump campaign chairman. Manafort, accused of by special counsel Robert Mueller of money laundering, is currently in jail.

by Anonymousreply 381July 24, 2018 12:59 AM

No one is arguing that R381. Point is that her statement was that the money was going to be used for recount efforts and any money NOT used for those efforts would be used however contributors decided it should be. Did her contributors vote to allow her to use it for her own legal expenses?

Anyone see Rachel's segment about Manafort and the bank in Chicago? Crazy stuff. On the day he left the campaign, Manafort set up an LLC. That LLC received $16 million in loans (24% of the banks lending equity) from a small bank in Chicago that specializes in loans to veterans. The CEO of the bank was under the impression that he was going to get a job in the Trump administration (Secretary of the Army) and began calling the Pentagon asking for intel based on his thoughts he was getting the job. He isn't one of the five witnesses unveiled today, but two employees of the bank are and the CEO is mentioned in defense exhibits.

Putin made a point to humiliate Trump during the summit as a deliberate message to the World pointing out he now is in charge. It was shocking how deliberate and clear that message was. Even down to Putin outright, while answering a question, stating he wanted Trump as President and that Russia interfered in the election. Trump just stood there in silence.

Trump’s willingness to turn over Americans to Russia for interrogation was a milestone for Putin. Now the entire World knows Trump is Putin’s puppet. That was one of the main goals of the summit, to inform the World of the New World Order.

No questions about obstruction? That sounds like obstruction...

by Anonymousreply 416July 24, 2018 1:11 PM

Mueller just needs to remove and conclude his investigation without interviewing Trump because Ghouliani is just trying to fuck around with him now.

by Anonymousreply 417July 24, 2018 1:16 PM

R402 and R406 I'd wager that the FFing is also coming from that demented Boris who got so pissed off for getting caught early on not understanding basic English nor the Laws of the US. Fourth tier troll couldn't be bothered to figure out how Speaker of the House works and has been unhinged ever since.

Does it still work where if you WW a thread it'll take off some of the FFing? If so, I suggest we all do that.

by Anonymousreply 418July 24, 2018 1:52 PM

Obstruction should be completely off the table. They shouldn't even have to bring it up because THE FUCKER ALREADY ADMITTED IN AN INTERVIEW HE OBSTRUCTED JUSTICE. He should just be charged and that's that. That fuck should say he'll ONLY talk about obstruction since that's the least of his fucking crimes.

Imagine if Hillary fucking sat there and sad she'd be interviewed but you couldn't ask her anything Benghazi or her fucking emails.

This whole ruse of bullshitting about "Trump would agree to an interview with Mueller if...." is so damned transparent it is laughable...and tired. The reason they do this is first to make it seem like Trump is both innocent and fearless in the eyes of his base, and cooperative. And also, to the general public, it gives the impression "something" is happening on Trump's end. That his lawyers and others are "working with" Mueller's team even though this is a "witch hunt." But the truth is, IMO once Mueller got the courtesy of suggesting an interview out of the way, and watching all the theatrics, that ship has sailed. If Mueller needs to subpoena Trump, he will, but the reality is that Mueller doesn't need to, and Giuliani and others are making Trump look the opposite of what they intended. He looks uncooperative and his demands are foolish, and demonstrable of an ignorance of the Law. I hope to god Giuliani gets his comeuppance, he's such an arrogant fuck.

R406, yes, the Ruskie trolls hit early mornings, usually out of the St. Petersburg facility. It is usually the wee hours in the U.S. east. Their grammar, syntax, and canned comments give them away.

Domestic Republican gays who are not posting for a right-wing organization, are few in posting nowadays, but they are usually more emotional/defensive, not deliberately subtle, and prone to respond to specific posts rather than delivering propaganda messaging or deflection.

Usually, the distinctions are obviously.

So the Russians have already infiltrated and have staffed Trump's office.

by Anonymousreply 435July 24, 2018 4:29 PM

by Anonymousreply 436July 24, 2018 4:29 PM

I honestly think they're throwing everything they can at the wall now, just to create confusion. It doesn't even have to make sense. Eventually, they will run out of even semi-sensible things to throw, though I guess we underestimate the intelligence of conservative America at our own peril.

by Anonymousreply 437July 24, 2018 4:30 PM

I do wonder if every other country in the entire world might also try to 'meddle' on behalf of Dems. Why not? Every other country hates him and the Republicans too. r435 is right. Nothing was done to prevent meddling. In fact, Trump on most days won't even ADMIT there was meddling. If any other country does try to help the Dem cause who could blame them? Our President didn't make it a priority to make it a more secure process.

by Anonymousreply 441July 24, 2018 4:35 PM

R433, he's trying to de-legitimize the mid-term elections, so he can thereafter claim that whatever Congress does is illegitimate and unlawful. Of course, if he actually believed any of that, he'd be taking steps to protect our elections from corruption by Russia, and he is not.

On the plus side, this pre-emptive slur must mean that the White House's internal polls show that the Democrats are on track to at least retake the House.

by Anonymousreply 442July 24, 2018 4:43 PM

EXACTLY, R442. He’s definitely worried. Which is what makes this latest tweet so deliciously demented.

After watching the video of the demonstrators chanting "Lock him up" in front of the WH, I was thinking. I have a feeling Trumpilstilskin's crowds at rallies are not what they used to be in terms of size, and I also think he is being faced with more and more anti Trump demonstrators where ever he goes. So New Jersey, Mar a Lago, etc. he has no more safe haven. Listening to the older C-Span interview with Gary Johnson, Trump clearly paid actors and extras to show up and cheer for him. Trump never considers that the same sheeple who show up when they see a (paid) crowd of cheerleaders, will also show up to cheer when he fails. Soon, I hope.

Trump has an upcoming rally in Tampa. Of course the networks will cover every moment of it and then some.

These rallies are totally political with Trump pitching to his base.

However, Democratic candidates for the House and Senate plus Governorships are not given equivalent network time. Yet, at these rallies, Trump introduces, endorses, and praises GOP high-office candidates he favors.

The media is not interested in fairness. They want good ratings and fodder for talking-heads yapping.

by Anonymousreply 458July 24, 2018 5:54 PM

If your entire intelligence community is against you - how can you survive that? Everything you do or say - everything anyone around you do or says - every financial transaction - EVERYTHING - is being scrutinised by intelligence professionals. I've noticed this too recently, pro democrat posts are being crossed out. These trolls are everywhere. The interview Hillary gave on ozy fest was posted on you tube and the comment section is literally flooded with hatred and misogynist comments against her. The same video was posted on reddit politics and was down voted to 45% so it wouldn't show up on the front page.

Same goes for every comment section that is critical of Trump or Putin. There must be thousands and thousands of these trolls and fake accounts on social media and I can only guess this will get worse before Nov.

The problem is that social media forums like you tube, reddit or fb doesn't do anything about them because these troll accounts generate klicks and traffic and therefore revenue and profit.

It's best to ignore all the trolls, f&f or better ignore them, block out all the noise and vote democrat in November.

This article is a nice recap, ending with (shortened):

Trump and his apologists pretend that the Russian intervention was no big deal. That beggars belief. Even if the Russians had failed, they still attacked our democracy. Yet they didn’t fail: Trump won. Russian disinformation wasn’t the only factor in the outcome and was probably less important in the end than FBI Director James B. Comey’s announcement 11 days before the election that he was reopening the Clinton email investigation. [Former FBI agent Clint] Watts concludes: ā€œWithout the Russian influence effort, I believe Trump would not have even been within striking distance of Clinton on Election Day.ā€ That is the inconvenient truth the Putin Republicans won’t admit.

What happened in Syria was terrible and let to the migrant crisis.

Why didn’t the world stop in its tracks right then. The babies being killed was just too much.

Everything got extreme in the east, Africa and Latin America all at the same time. Then came the flood of migrants.

It all seems like it’s being pushed from the same evil force.

by Anonymousreply 545July 25, 2018 10:59 AM

R535 it is. Russia, and eventually Vladimir Putin 's hand has been stirring up instability in the Middle East for a long time. He has worked very hard to generate instability and the current migrant crisis throughout Europe. I think Russia has never forgiven the United States for Afghanistan. I will not be surprised at all if one day, we discover that Russia was so enraged after they were forced to withdraw from Afghanistan, they decided to turn around support Bin Laden, the very person they were fighting there. Russia's client states are Syria and Iran. When Netanyahu and our own Neo Cons rattle their sabers insisting on war with Iran I haveto wonder who would benefit, because it would not be us.

by Anonymousreply 546July 25, 2018 11:42 AM

R535, I will also add that it wasn't Syria alone, which was terrible enough, but it was the entire "Arab Spring" movement.

by Anonymousreply 547July 25, 2018 11:44 AM

I think we have all had a hand in the migrant crisis. The US bares much of the blame.

by Anonymousreply 548July 25, 2018 11:45 AM

[quote]When Netanyahu and our own Neo Cons rattle their sabers insisting on war with Iran I haveto wonder who would benefit, because it would not be us.

Actually Netanyahu hates Iran because they sponsor terrorism against Israel through Hezbollah and other groups. Iran as well as Russia are also propping up Assad. I actually think Iranians themselves are fed up with their leaders pumping billions into terror groups instead of the welfare of the country. If it was up to Iranians they would get rid of their leaders asap, modernize and democratize the country and start peace talks with Israel.

The conflict is mostly just being stoked by the leaders, not by the people themselves.

by Anonymousreply 555July 25, 2018 12:58 PM

The editing of the news conference and Putin's acknowledgement that he wanted Asshat to be President from the official sites in both Russia and WH was astonishing and terrifying. It was also covered on Morning Joe on a day when both Joe and Mika were out so it was able to be discussed without interruption by JS. Watching the news is like being caught frozen looking into a funhouse mirror. The feeling of being off balance is debilitating at this point.

by Anonymousreply 556July 25, 2018 12:59 PM

Russia's editing out of Putin's statement regarding tRump is atrocious -- but expected. Putin is a dictator heading an authoritarian regime, so that is what they do. However, the fact that the White House did it as well is beyond horrendous and cannot be allowed to stand. The press corps should push Sarah Huckabeast Sandbags very hard on why that statement was removed, and whether the removal was done in collaboration (or collusion) with Russia. We should insist that the transcript be restored.

r564 He slithered out this week to start talking about the Cohen tape. And as someone posted above, he went on live television and then said "don't quote me".

He also made a speech about a month ago for MeK, a group formerly listed as a terrorist organization, which wants to overthrow the Iranian government.

The next time Rudy appears, I want whoever the interviewer is to play the clip of Rudy saying that tRump wanted to pay by check not by cash, and then I want them to play to audio recording from Cohen where Orange Cheatolini clearly says to make the pay-off in cash. And then I want them to ask Ghouliani to reconcile those two statements.

I detest these reprehensible fuckers.

by Anonymousreply 568July 25, 2018 2:27 PM

He'll laugh and say 'cash' is different in meaning for folks like him and the trifling traitor. No no no, we don't pay with OUR cash....we were just telling him to pay, is all, but not with cash.

You see how they do it. First it's all about their 'special circumstances' and then it's the pass off, and then it acknowledges and lies at the same time.

Orwell did it better, but it's still easily recognized.

by Anonymousreply 569July 25, 2018 2:31 PM

On the other hand, they'd get to live it for real.

by Anonymousreply 594July 25, 2018 6:36 PM

[quote] you're a damn, dirty, Hillary loving, Liberal!

To which the answer should be that Liberalism is a traditional American ideology. Free markets, individual freedoms and such. So if they are against economic and personal freedom, and love them some autocrats hardliners and "former" communists, they are welcome to be Putin's bitches and move to Russia to lick his ass.

by Anonymousreply 595July 25, 2018 6:41 PM

R594, I have to believe Trump didn't change his ways. Remember. Melania stayed in NYC for months after he took office. I don't think he was jerking off all that time. He had to be up to no good. Because he never went to NYC after he got elected. He would go to New Jersey or to Mar A Lago and Melly would join him, but she didn't come to the WH for a long time. So I betcha he had wimin coming in, and he still had his personal bodyguard on the payroll so that was the way they probably came in and out. Now if Cohen was his clean up guy then Cohen may have been privy to even more whoring around after he become POTUS.

by Anonymousreply 596July 25, 2018 6:43 PM
