Do you read or hear about stories from "locals" about other celebrities? If Beyonce can live her life without "locals" giving up the details on internet forums, than Henry can definitely go about his business with anonymity. You are welcome! LOL Well, we didn't have much in the way of deep conversation. He liked the elements of LA that most people like (he was waiting tables at the time but that was neither here nor there) and disliked the traffic, smog and whatnot. He liked electronica (or something to that effect) - although maybe just due to what they were playing at the bar. He was incredibly sweet natured, and most of all fun-loving. Perhaps it was due to alcohol and no leering eyes of fans - but he seemed to be having a great time and enjoying himself the few times we chatted. I would say that as gorgeous as he is - he can easily be the life of the party too. Not that he is some sort of stand-up wannabe - but a very dynamic guy (charming smile, drinks, smokes, flirty, fun, engaged..). I think that part of him is lost on film but was very apparent candidly. Not much else to say. He really seemed to be having fun with the LA (not just WEHO) nightlife.

Oh, and at that time - I don't think that he had any fans to speak of outside of those who appreciated his looks. Shortly after his Showtime fame - we never saw much of him again..

I saw Henry at a party once, here's my story: I was at an annual fundraiser that celebrity "X" always hosts for a very small, local theater (celebrity X got his start here, and actually continues to do shows there). The party itself isn't exclusive, but it always has a small turnout (the room was about the size of my one bedroom apartment). Henry was in town filming a movie, and he's worked with celebrity X before on a major film, so he stopped by towards the end of the night. I'm a straight woman, but Henry just isn't my type - he screams gay to me. But anyway...he shows up with this petite asian lady who was - physically - way below his league; I found that really strange. Then he starts dancing and kissing her in front of everyone! I can't figure out if he was trying to put on a show for his peers (actors, celebrity X) or for the fundraiser-attendees (upper middle class movie goers). It was so weird to see a PR stunt at such a small venue, but make no mistake it was definitely a stunt. Also, not shockingly, he looks exactly like he does on screen.

I know that sounds absurd, and I certainly hope it doesn't sound offensive but it's accurate. Also the chemistry with that girl was so obviously platonic! I go out dancing with my male best friend (who happens to be gay) a lot and this reminded me of that. I should clarify I think I have a stronger gaydar/straightdar than most (sometimes I think it's more honed than that of my gay friends, because they seem to genuinely believe a lot of closeted gay guys really are straight - even if they've kissed them)!
