When does the responsibility lie on him? I've seen many poorly written movies, and I would say why would the character say that if the acting was good just not the lines.

He is eternally easy one the eyes - many might say that he is downright gorgeous in fact. He is not now and never has ever been a good actor. I do not think that he has it in him although time will tell. He was chosen for most of his roles because he looked hot.
