I love Burger King. What fast food do you adore??

I'm a vegetarian, so most fast food places have few options for me unless it's Mexican food. Carl's Jr. has a fried zucchini sandwich which has all the same ingredients as their standard burger, but with sliced fried zucchini instead of a hamburger patty. I do enjoy those a lot.

Taco Bell - seriously. I'm a very healthy eater 95% of the time, but when I crash out for whatever reason, I want Taco Bell.

I do crave a Whopper cut in half with light mayo from time to time. Not a fan of their onion rings or fries. It's nice to have fresh tomatoes and crisp lettuce from a burger joint.

I prefer BK's thicker potatoes to McD's dired out potato stix.

I just assembled a Double-Decker Taco Supreme from Taco Bell today for lunch by purchasing a crunchy Taco Supreme and a soft taco (swapped beans for the meat) and then put them together after I got out of the drive-thru. I ate it pretty quickly, too.

They had it back for a limited time over the past year as a promo for their "decades" of Taco Bell, but then stopped that promo and now have a double taco with nacho cheese instead of beans. Haven't tried it and don't want to.

I'm pretty sure the Crunchwrap Supreme was an idea borne out of the Double-Decker Taco Supreme, but it really doesn't match up against the original Double-Decker Taco Supreme as the Crunchwrap's grilled and so you don't get the softness of the flour tortilla, nor the coolness of the sour cream because they grill the whole thing together.

You can tell I have thought about this subject far too much.

I fucking love Wendy's. thank God Vermont doesn't have many fast food places, especially Wendy's. I get it like, 4x a year but I feel like I would be ok with it at least once a week.

I like falafel places that do a mixed plate. This is my favorite one, in the Red Light District (Paquis) of Genève. Always great food, charming workers who know the regulars, and good people watching.

Fast food generally sucks. And while there's more variety than there used to be the quality is also much worse than it used to be.

The only decent fast food chains these days are Chick-fil-A, five guys, chipotle. All of those are more expensive than the cheap fast food like burger king or whatever, but at least they're edible. I'm not saying people should necessarily go to those. All of those more expensive fast food places have their upsides and downsides with regard to politics and health and blah, blah, and that debate doesn't need to be opened again. But they're the only ones that won't make you sick. Well, Chipotle had that food poisoning issue, but you know what I mean.

Pollo Tropical is awesome...or was since it's probably been about 15 years since I've been to one. I crave fried plantains from time to time and that place had them and were delicious. So hard to make at home.

I love Checkers, when I can find one. They seem to have almost disappeared.

It’s the Whopper with cheese and there isn’t a Burger King within city limits because of wage requirements.

Their fries were only so/so and the onion rings were always hit or miss, but the burger was always good.

Taco Bell seems to have set a late night vibe where it's 2 AM, you've close the club down and want to stop and get something to eat before you go home, except it's all day. They have a wide ranging menu with many options. Alison Roman is a fan.

My mom (RIP) was not really a foodie and never really had to watch her weight. She love-loved-loved Der Weinerschnitzel.

BurgerFi. Pricier than most, but the quality is there. Their beef and toppings have a good taste, and their batter dipped onion rings are the size of tractor trailer tires. I think their fresh cut steak fries are to die for.

I read threads like this and get bummed. I haven't tried 90 percent of the restaurants mentioned. Vermont is awesome in a lot of ways but I don't understand why we only have the same 4 restaurants duplicated across the state. I remember loving KFC (white meat only) but I haven't had it in 20+ years and only see complaints about it now.

I want to try Popeyes and pretty much any burger place because I don't cook a great burger and I am just as happy with a decent fast food one (Wendy's) as one from a nicer place.

There’s also Hessburger which is really good. They are based in Finland, but I went to one in Latvia.

I go to fast food for novelty, so it's White Castle, Eat-Rite, the odd local spot (Goody's in Sedalia, MO; Robbins' Nest in Fairplay, CO).

R30, Taco Bell is the pioneer for drunken drive though food, but on the West coast, Jack in the Box has perfected a menu of random garbage that drunkards crave.

They need drive through pizza, now that that can make that fast fired variety that takes 3 minutes.

I can't do much of any kind of fast food any more.

But I did love BK's burgers, chicken sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches.

I also liked a few things at Taco Bell.

I can still manage a few bites of the original BK chicken sandwich or a McD's burger or Filet of Fish, possibly a "Breakfast Jack" at Jack in the Box.....mostly because all of those have a lot of filler and aren't as hard for me to digest, I think.

I rarely get fast food anymore, but I love Whataburger sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit breakfast sandwiches.

What is it with those things? The regular price of 1 original chicken sandwich is $10. Use one of their endless coupons and you get 2 for $7.99 plus 2 small fries. Their prices make no sense. They send those coupons out like no tomorrow. Just make the regular menu affordable.

I don't know what it is at Taco Bell, but every time I try to eat there it gives me a bad case of the runs.

As someone who lives in a country without one, I really miss the spicy chicken sandwiches from Popeye's....and the cajun fries.

They just opened a new Popeyes down the street from me. Best one I have ever had, but prices went way up. $20.00 for one person one meal.

After eating KFC just once I don’t crave it for another 2-3 years. It almost makes me want to throw up afterwards.

Wendy's salads (taco mostly), chili, and lemonade. A&W mozza burger, buddy burger (sautéed onions!) and root beer (the small if I'm indulging in regular; medium or large if not). Dairy Queen onion rings with the A&W because onion rings should be coated in batter, not breadcrumbs!

A medium DQ blizzard now and then, but the cost is astronomic!

R60 I've t ried them several times and they're very good, but I have to confess, McDonald's is still my favorite. I don't eat red meat, but their double fish sandwich with cheese or their chicken sandwich are my favorites with fries of course. I don't go their often, but when I do that's what I order. The other favorite is their Bacon Egg and cheese biscuit. They have great biscuits.

McDonald's Filet-O-Fish is a big thing now. They make them differently than their standard food including the buns. It's become a thing with the younger crowed, tones of videos about them on YouTube.

I love McDonald's if I ever get fast food. Luckily there isn't one in my town so I probably only get it a couple of times a year.

Yes I know McDonald's food is incredibly unhealthy and - compared to other options - lower quality, but it still hits the spot when you just want a very quick meal with little hassle. I don't think you can beat their fries, as long as they're fresh.

Like any food, it's all about portion control. If you just get a burger and medium fries with a sugar free drink it's not like you're exceeding your daily calories or fat intake. If you then go and eat another unhealthy meal the same day that's on you.

I don't think I go to McDonald's more than 6-8 times a year, if that. I've been to Chic-fil-a three times in my life. And that is it. No other fast foods ever.

I liked the Brawny Lad and the Big Boy - but those places are all gone now.
