[quote]It seems that peeps are ok with a successor thread starting closer to 550, you have been heard.
That's because threads sometimes get wonky before they get close to 600. Thanks for starting the next one. Not sure why you're grayed out.

[quote]Overnight coverage by SkyNews is shit. More than one host/reporter commending Trump for statesmanship, leadership, and wisdom. Are these clueless fascists still working for Murdoch? Does hapless MSNBC know, or care? It’s almost to the point of FauxNews. Had to turn it off.
I caught that too, it was a total rim job that went on and on. I thought I was listening to Fox News on steroids. They even brought up the peace prize. It was very disturbing hearing that from people who didnt have the typical American MAGA inflections. They all have mud on their face now, both sides back to shooting at each other calming each other broke the agreement.

OP here. I am one of the unappointed continuation monitors who try to guarantee threads continue without a break and without bifurcation, competing threads. I just ended a three-day sit out after I listed this continuation link near r 550 of 67.
Is this thread still grayed out? If it isn't, it means the Mediapolis programming grays out an OP on sit-out.
Interesting to know.
There are continuation monitors on the Treason Thread.
I am also The View continuation monitor.
I have a style for continuations: Name, M Dash, Part. I keep things simple for people to search.
So, if I get grayed out again, yoi know I am on the naughty stool AGAIN.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | June 24, 2025 1:00 PM |
I’ve been on the naughty stool twice this week. Our self-appointed censors are very busy.
FF is not meant to be a thumbs down or “no.”
Now, at the risk of returning to the stool, I will say “Rachel has been phoning it in lately.”
[ducks]

Don Lemon looked 10 years younger. Good surgery and veneers.

Anyone else notice that MSNBC allowed "Fuck" uncensored on shows today.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | June 25, 2025 2:15 AM |
R10 - yeah, but for some reason the NBC Evening News bleeped it out.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | June 25, 2025 3:54 AM |
CNN did too.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | June 25, 2025 4:14 AM |
When the President does it, that means that it is not illegal.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | June 25, 2025 4:16 AM |
CNN did not edit out or bleep the word "fuck."
Good for those shows with the journalistic integrity to broadcast this president uncensored, showing the world (and history) what a gross human failure he is.

Joy Reid doing CNN panels now…
by Anonymous | reply 15 | June 25, 2025 9:01 AM |
R15, not a bad idea to offset the absolute foolishness of Scott Jennings and the other CNN contributing MAGA Trump ass lickers.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | June 25, 2025 9:17 AM |
Not surprising network news bleeped the f-bomb out, but the cable networks shouldn't have to. Besides, even with the bleeps, it was VERY obvious what he said.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | June 25, 2025 11:34 AM |
That fucking BITCH Katy Tur bringing up that old tired trope (too many on DL have swallowed hook, line, and sinker) that Kamala Harris ran on "Trump is bad; vote for me," and that she gave the voters *nothing* to vote FOR except Trump Bad. That Kamala didn't have specifics on HOW she would make our lives better--as if the woman didn't fucking TELL US EVERY FUCKING SPEECH what her plans and policies were and would be. I am so tired of lazy-ass newsreaders and "journalists" who keep spouting the same ole lies because they never get challenged to their faces.
I could go on for days, but I have got to calm my ass down.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | June 25, 2025 8:30 PM |
Everyone knows Katy Turd voted for Trump.

by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 25, 2025 11:58 PM |
Get over your fat shaming R20. Symone brings some good insights to the table and I like they she is allowed to express more outrage than the stock news people from central casting it seems you want.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 26, 2025 2:12 AM |
I’m with you, R18. It’s such bullshit that could be so easily disproven by simply playing the video from any of her campaign speeches — which, of course, they would never do because it would undercut their garbage lies about what she said.

Lawrence is again out with the napalm. It seems Trump is selling snake oil to NATO. He must have been more pissed off by Putin than suspected.
Saying that Article 5 is good now that Europe has boosted military budgets. Can't wait to see what happens with Iran in the next 6 months.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | June 26, 2025 2:21 AM |
I guess Trump Tower Moscow has been shelved.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | June 26, 2025 2:22 AM |
Katy Tur is such an oddity. Her fist job with MSNBC was the short straw, she had to fallow Trump around all over the country before anyone thought he would win. At one point he called her out and she had to be rushed out so the crowed would not turn on her. Her father is some Trans woman who used to be a helicopter pilot for LA news and traffic before he Transed. And I think they are not on speaking terms.
Like a lot of woman, she loves/hates Trump. Once they get married they change their opinions to what their MAGA husbands want.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | June 26, 2025 2:23 AM |
Agree 100%, R25. It's been jarring to watch the Tur transformation, because I actually used to love her goofy ass. But that second baby (apologies to Baby; it's not personal) seems to have sent her 'round the bend; and the growing douchiness of Tony Dokoupil is rubbing off on her.
I want the J6 Katy back--she and Yasmin V were absolutely STELLAR, imo.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | June 26, 2025 4:55 AM |
Katy Tur definitely lost her mind after the second baby. That short haircut was a cry for help. It looked like she took a pair of shears and chopped it herself during a moment of insanity.
She also has serious issues with her father becoming a tranny, which probably caused her to abandon liberal ideas somewhat.

I got a poll from MSNBC and I suggested that they shit can Joe, give his 4 hours to happy talk business maven Stephanie and bring back Joy for an 11th hour. How say you, bitches?
by Anonymous | reply 28 | June 26, 2025 1:33 PM |
WTF is going on?!? Nicole on national TV without any makeup.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | June 26, 2025 8:02 PM |
Oh please, r29, she has make-up on. It just isn't glam make-up.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | June 26, 2025 8:45 PM |
I think Stephanie is ill equipped to talk about anything other than finance. He r little promo where she says "the game isn't over yet" makes me want to hurl--hedge fund bitch, my Medicare is not a game. I used to love Joy but got sick of rants from the $4M anchor. Joe doesn't bother me because he's never there.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | June 26, 2025 8:51 PM |
Ever since Joe went down to MAL to suck Trump's cock, Morning Joe has suffered from blandness. Their sports dodge has gone nowhere. Joy left because she understood the anti Trump argument. Stephanie needs a business oriented The View she could moderate.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | June 26, 2025 9:03 PM |
Stephanie should be on , mid to late morning, with a View type show on business, as r32 suggested.
They can then cut down on the number of hours cunt face Katy Tur is on during the day.
For the 11th Hour-put on a serious anchor Monday-Thursday, and turn the Friday show into a panel discussing the week’s news, sort of like Real Time.

A wife who is a prop for future campaigns & then they cheat.
Example: Governor Gavin Newsom

by Anonymous | reply 42 | June 27, 2025 2:01 AM |
Oooh, R28, I like the way you think.
Though I doubt Joy would be down for it, given how her exit was handled. I'm sure she's loving the freedom she has on her new YT show.
Four hours is way too much to spend with MJ, and I've felt that way since the 4th hour was added a couple years ago.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | June 27, 2025 4:20 AM |
r40, is this why you hate hausfrau Chasten, so much?
I think that Trump and Noem and Hegseth have effectively destroyed infidelity as a moral high ground. Have they turned it into a Republican Family Value? Along with Domestic Violence.

They got it in SPADES,
They gave more power to Trump.
They continued the assault on the post-Civil War Amendments and today, just like they cut the balls off of the Constitutional definitions of INSURRECTION, they now cut off the balls of birthright citizenship.
Wake up America.

The SCOTUS majority cohort is the most obscenely servile court in history, they might as well just suck the shit directly from Trump's ass. They are complicit in the ongoing destruction of a great nation, and should if possible be made to feel the people's utter contempt for their actions.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | June 27, 2025 11:26 PM |

R83 Somewhat lacking in specifics...
Following its split from NBC News, MSNBC is actively building its own independent newsgathering operation, including hiring domestic and international correspondents. This involves establishing a Washington bureau and expanding its presence in the field. MSNBC is also hiring for various roles such as a head of talent, a head of content strategy, and a Washington bureau chief.
Details:
Building a distinct news operation: MSNBC is no longer relying on NBC News for its newsgathering and is actively creating its own independent news division.
Hiring correspondents: The network is recruiting a new wave of correspondents, including some who will be familiar to NBC News viewers, to cover various beats, including the White House and investigative roles.
Establishing a Washington bureau: MSNBC is establishing a Washington bureau as part of its efforts to build a robust newsgathering operation.
Expanding internationally: MSNBC is also expanding its international coverage, signaling a commitment to building a global news presence.
New leadership and talent: MSNBC is hiring key personnel like a head of newsgathering, Scott Matthews, to lead the expanded news operation.
Focus on context and analysis: MSNBC aims to distinguish itself by providing context and analysis alongside breaking news.
Transitioning from NBC News resources: While some talent is moving to MSNBC from NBC News, the network is also actively recruiting new talent to build its own team.
