Morning Joe misquoted the Chicago Mayor and JB. No one is denying a crime problem in Chicago. But it's not Beirut and the shootings are concentrated far from the lakefront and tourist areas in the South and West sides. The guard is unlikely to go there and they can't conduct arrests so what can they do short of shooting people. The issue is one of guns and poverty and Trump defunded all the crime intervention and community support programs. Not to mention that Govt Abbott's busloads of Venezuelans, whom Ice is now coming after, blew a hole in Chicago's budget.

Later in the evening, Jen had the late Virginia Giuffre's brother and his wife, Sky and Amanda Roberts, on her show. I have watched Sky and Amanda speak on previous shows as advocates for his late sister who was the catalyst to go after Epstein (and Prince Edwrd) many years ago. They are powerful, articulate, and compassionate speakers and tonight they were so moving in the interview. Jen did a great job.

I'm tired of Joe Scarborough's yelling and Mika's smug face.

I preferred it when those two were off and Jonathan Lemire held the fort.
