This French Open is a good example of something I've realized over the years, which is: early upsets in a Slam are a ton of fun, as are long marathon 5-setters, but they can make the later stages of the tournament really dull. I think Tommy might have been gassed today. And I'll be surprised if Bublik wins 4 games against Sinner; Draper would have been so much more fun. (Watch me eat my words!)

Mauresmo says women's matches can't be scheduled in the primetime night session because they don't last as long as the men's... yet women also aren't allowed to play best of 5 sets because of "scheduling issues". It's all very well having equal prizemoney but surely true equality would be making both men and women's tennis at grand slams best of 3 or best of 5 rather than giving women a lot less playing time and then saying they have to stick to the day slots because their matches are too short...
