Trump is scared, very scared

[post redacted because independent.co.uk thinks that links to their ridiculous rag are a bad thing. Somebody might want to tell them how the internet works. Or not. We don't really care. They do suck though. Our advice is that you should not click on the link and whatever you do, don't read their truly terrible articles.]

Why doesn’t DL allow the write up to display just because the independent doesn’t care for DL.

I thought republicans liked big business.

It's that and it's also this -- China is chucking a spear into the ground, making this a nationalist and patriotic cause for China, and betting they can outlast Trump.

(Video: China spokesman declaring China will fight Trump 100% on these tariffs, no settling and no surrender, and urges other nations to join China in isolating Trump/America)

There was an Instagram post yesterday where a guy asked “what is the one thing you wish for most in 2025”, cut to another guy looking at the camera and just nodding slightly. 100% of the responses—without even specifying—knew what he meant and were in agreement.

by Anonymousreply 5April 29, 2025 3:09 PM

Everything Trump touches turns to 💩.

by Anonymousreply 6April 29, 2025 3:12 PM

I wonder R5, if Trump understands the tsunami of gladness that will surge forth nationwide and worldwide on the day "that unspoken wish" is announced.

Imagine being such a colossally negative figure in human history that that's the public reaction to your death, when it happens.

Countdown to Bezos caving….

Jeff Bezos vs. Donald Trump: Battle of the Gutless, Spineless Cowards.

by Anonymousreply 9April 29, 2025 3:28 PM

I don’t know r8. A lot of pressure is being put on Dump—from many, many other entities besides Bezos—to fix this shit re tariffs.

by Anonymousreply 10April 29, 2025 3:28 PM

[quote]I wonder [R5], if Trump understands the tsunami of gladness that will surge forth nationwide and worldwide on the day "that unspoken wish" is announced.

His sociopathic ego can handle one small drop of the tsunami, which energises him to continue quadrupling down on how world-changing he is and how Biden dragged America into a new Depression. But 99% of him is in denial about said tsunami, which will indeed be Biblical in power when one day released.

Amazon has already rolled this back. Trump called Bezos this morning, according to the WSJ (gift link). (Although Bezos doesn't run the company anymore but Trump is too stupid to know that.)

Fuck.

by Anonymousreply 13April 29, 2025 4:33 PM

Trump knows even those on the right like this transparency. He can’t hide behind blaming the Dems, manipulating the mainstream media like he normally does. This clearly shows to the average person these high prices aren’t directly linked to the tariffs. Thank you Bezos. He played Trump like a fool.

by Anonymousreply 14April 29, 2025 5:19 PM

Bezos let drumpf punk him in the end. Amazon should have stood its ground on this one. We need media who will hold leaders’ feet to the fire, not Simon for them. I wish a Larry Flint character would emerge and show all of these exploiters up.

by Anonymousreply 15April 29, 2025 5:36 PM

Omg. Caved to Cheetolini again. wtf does this motherfucker have on these people. Good lord. That election must have really been stolen. I said what I said.

by Anonymousreply 16April 29, 2025 5:38 PM

“Simp” (not Simon). - R 15

What's hostile about referencing Trump's Wonderfull Tariffs That Will Save America?

by Anonymousreply 18April 29, 2025 6:09 PM

Why is he having a rally? He never works.

by Anonymousreply 19April 29, 2025 6:40 PM

she's such an evil and disgusting waste of a human. god could have made 3 good squirrels with her genes. what a boil on the ass of America.

by Anonymousreply 20April 29, 2025 10:51 PM

[quote] That election must have really been stolen.

It totally was.

You know, one of the guys could just spill the beans about what really happened and end this charade once and for all.

by Anonymousreply 21April 29, 2025 10:57 PM

[quote] wtf does this motherfucker have on these people.

Maybe all these billionaires participated in some gang rape on Epstein Island and Trump has the tape.

by Anonymousreply 22April 29, 2025 11:00 PM

He's always been scared, always will be.

by Anonymousreply 23April 29, 2025 11:04 PM

R22 They keep paying lip service to it, but I think they’re dangling the carrot at us and it’s all right there.

by Anonymousreply 24April 29, 2025 11:06 PM

R21 I’m talking about that other election. I don’t care. I said what I said. Fuck Trump though.

by Anonymousreply 25April 29, 2025 11:15 PM

R25, what election are you talking about?

by Anonymousreply 26April 29, 2025 11:41 PM

I love the expression of fury in her face as she holds up that picture - like it's the wanted poster for a guy that just drove his SUV into a girl scout troop.

by Anonymousreply 27April 29, 2025 11:50 PM

Trump is the one who made this tariff war. And he says it is the right thing to do for America. Therefore he should proudly own it, and promote the additional tariffs Americans will be paying for all their goods.
