Bad day for vehicles in America
A Cybertruck just exploded in front of a Trump branded property in Vegas

by Anonymous | reply 1 | January 1, 2025 4:37 PM |
I am here in Vegas. I heard the explosion and saw the smoke coming from the area around the Trump Hotel. It would warm my heart if that was a Musk cybertruck exploding at the Trump hotel.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | January 1, 2025 4:44 PM |
I wouldn't be surprised if people start vandalizing Teslas.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | January 1, 2025 4:44 PM |
They are not very subtle, are they?
by Anonymous | reply 4 | January 1, 2025 4:46 PM |
by Anonymous | reply 5 | January 1, 2025 4:46 PM |
Don't they blow up on the regular?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | January 1, 2025 4:49 PM |
How symbolic
by Anonymous | reply 7 | January 1, 2025 4:56 PM |
That’s what I was thinking, r7.
A portent of things to come.
Let’s hope they irreparably damage each other
by Anonymous | reply 8 | January 1, 2025 4:58 PM |
Either an omen, or just the usual Tesla doing Tesla things. Who can say?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | January 1, 2025 5:00 PM |
It's like with the wicked witch. All you need to stop a Tesla is a bucket of water.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | January 1, 2025 5:03 PM |
For once, a description that is accurate. It is literally at the front door.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | January 1, 2025 5:12 PM |
Was the douchebag edgelord driver still inside when it went kaboom?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 1, 2025 5:15 PM |
This is a brilliant piece of political violence. Look at that imagery.

Has Dipshit responded yet or is he lost in a k-hole?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | January 1, 2025 7:01 PM |
I did not realize there was a driver inside killed until just now. I thought it was like a detonated car bomb situation.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | January 1, 2025 7:19 PM |
Was Brazil not the most prophetic dystopian film?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | January 1, 2025 7:29 PM |
ABC: Cybertruck explosion at the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas being investigated as a possible act of terror.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | January 1, 2025 7:33 PM |
Based on prior performance, I assume this act of "terror" can be laid at the doorstep of Tesla.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | January 1, 2025 7:42 PM |
The video of the explosion linked from Twitter looks fake to me. The fireworks sparks especially. Just my gut reaction.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | January 1, 2025 7:45 PM |
Yes R26, the picture at R16 posted by Ron Filipkowski looks like it's straight out of a dystopian movie. Brazil, Blade Runner or Soylent Green would be the first of many to come to mind.

ABC: Cybertruck that exploded at the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas was filled with "fireworks-style mortars."

Is this Laura Loomer's way of warning Elon to stay away from her man?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | January 1, 2025 8:02 PM |
Suicide bomber in a Cybertruck? Wonder if was rented from Turo like the truck in the NOLA attack…
by Anonymous | reply 33 | January 1, 2025 8:02 PM |
This image encapsulates the coming new year in glorious perfection
by Anonymous | reply 34 | January 1, 2025 8:03 PM |
Those things look so weird. Why do people want them. They obviously aren't safe either apparently.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | January 1, 2025 8:06 PM |
Those trucks are ugly AF.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | January 1, 2025 8:09 PM |
Someone on another thread said they look like a dust buster, lmao. I think that's a good analogy.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | January 1, 2025 8:12 PM |
Yeah, and they suck, too, r37.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | January 1, 2025 8:33 PM |
Lmao! That's good!
by Anonymous | reply 39 | January 1, 2025 8:34 PM |
Has anyone checked on Miss Lindsey? Maybe she blowed herself up because Trump has pushed her aside for Elmo.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | January 1, 2025 8:46 PM |
Park the Cyber Truck INSIDE the building!
They can't do ANYTHING right.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | January 1, 2025 8:49 PM |
Too bad it didn’t do any damage
by Anonymous | reply 42 | January 1, 2025 9:28 PM |
Thoughts and prayers
by Anonymous | reply 43 | January 1, 2025 9:29 PM |
Nobody in those videos looks to be in any hurry to do anything about it.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | January 1, 2025 9:37 PM |
If this was a suicide mission it was a failure. You're supposed to kill more people than just yourself.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | January 1, 2025 9:42 PM |
Did the car explode, as apparently many teslas do, or was it filled with explosives?
by Anonymous | reply 46 | January 1, 2025 9:46 PM |
The Tesla did not explode.
Bombs placed inside the Tesla exploded.
"Tesla Cybertruck explosion at Trump hotel in Vegas investigated as a possible terrorist act, law enforcement official says" - CNN
by Anonymous | reply 47 | January 1, 2025 9:50 PM |
I swear to God, right after it happened Musk tweeted that the Tesla was functioning correctly.
I think he meant the explosion was planned and not a kn own defect, but you never know. Also, how does he know this without examining the vehicle, which wasn't yet possible. What a moron.
Facts are doomed in 2025.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | January 1, 2025 9:54 PM |
It was reportedly filled with fireworks, R46
by Anonymous | reply 49 | January 1, 2025 9:55 PM |
How did they get such a perfect parking spot for photos? The valets must have been in on it.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | January 1, 2025 10:03 PM |
[quote] Is this Laura Loomer's way of warning Elon to stay away from her man?
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Loomer or some other MAGAT who got pissed about Elon calling Americans" subtards" were behind this.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | January 1, 2025 10:07 PM |
“The explosives contained in the truck were described as fireworks, gas tanks and camping fuel, which authorities believe were connected to a detonation system controlled by the driver, according to the official.”
by Anonymous | reply 52 | January 1, 2025 10:12 PM |
Blowing themselves up in their own overpriced shitboxes in front of Trump properties to express their disappointment in Leon and 47's betrayal of the white power platform for which they voted would be...well. That would be something to watch!

Thoughts and prayers for whoever bought a tesla and decided to spend money at a trump hotel
by Anonymous | reply 54 | January 1, 2025 10:18 PM |
I heard that what happens when you slam the door too hard. Those things are crap.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | January 1, 2025 10:36 PM |
That hotel is half condos, I think, and is located off the strip. Terrible reviews. Kind of remote. Seems a good choice for a suicide with a message.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | January 1, 2025 10:44 PM |
The New Orleans and the Cyber truck could be related. They say both vehicles were rented from the same company (Turo). Also, I wonder if these incidents are being staged by MAGA to scare people and then the incoming Mis-administration can declare Martial Law to keep people contained so 'they' can hunt down the infestation of 'terrorists' can be rounded up.
And this is only the first day of the next four years!!
by Anonymous | reply 57 | January 1, 2025 10:55 PM |
R57 - meant to say 'The New Orleans and Cyber truck - Incident - could be related.'
How about a simple edit function - after all this IS 2025.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | January 1, 2025 10:58 PM |
The Chief of Las Vegas police just held a press conference and he said the fact that the vehicle was a Tesla helped minimize damage. Musk could have bribed him to say so, I guess.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | January 1, 2025 11:42 PM |
[quote]If a Tesla battery is on fire, in most situations, it is recommended to let it burn out rather than trying to put it out with water, as lithium-ion battery fires can be extremely difficult to extinguish and may reignite even after seemingly extinguished,
I wonder whether a Tesla was chose on purpose because it seems like a pretty expensive explosives delivery device.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | January 1, 2025 11:53 PM |
looks like the truck was rented out of Colorado Springs then driven to Vegas today. the driver never got out. he was parked for only 10-20 seconds before detonating the explosion
by Anonymous | reply 63 | January 2, 2025 12:08 AM |
Are we sure this is an act of terrorism, or is it buyer’s regret?
by Anonymous | reply 65 | January 2, 2025 12:27 AM |
R65 - do you mean buying a Tesla or voting for Trump, or a combination? I could see this being a Trump voter feeling jilted and betrayed by both him and Musk for the crappy truck and the H1-B visa reversal. Ultimate statement bombing.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | January 2, 2025 12:33 AM |
R16's picture is perfect for wallpaper.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | January 2, 2025 12:44 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 68 | January 2, 2025 1:34 AM |
Someone on the CBS news yesterday said that the Tesla had been recently connected to a charging station and the read out says there were no problems with the systems.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | January 2, 2025 12:14 PM |
Matthew Livelsberger, 37, identified as the driver of the Cybertruck that exploded in Las Vegas, is listed on LinkedIn as an Operations Director and Intelligence Manager with Special Forces experience. Was a Green Beret and was still active military.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | January 2, 2025 12:23 PM |
Credit where due, the thick heavy metal construction of the cybertruck did a lot to contain the blast. Nearly all of its force shot upward and was contained by the trunk of the vehicle.
“ “It looks like the exterior of that truck is completely intact as it sits there,” he said. “Most of the blast went up through the truck and out—in fact, if you look on the video the front blast doors at the Trump Hotel were not even broken by that blast.”
by Anonymous | reply 72 | January 2, 2025 12:51 PM |
I think I've grown to hate Musk more than I hate Trump.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | January 2, 2025 1:08 PM |
Two military men committed acts of terror on New Years day. One retired, one active.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | January 2, 2025 1:11 PM |
So this was a suicide bombing? Obviously one of the MAGA crazies reacting to the Musk/MAGA drama from the past few days.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | January 2, 2025 1:34 PM |
No, the New Orleans guy was terrorism. This was mental illness.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | January 2, 2025 1:38 PM |
r75, likely
by Anonymous | reply 77 | January 2, 2025 1:43 PM |
It would make sense that this bomber is from the left, not MAGA. Look at his targets.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | January 2, 2025 1:45 PM |
As usual, there's a lot of pure speculation about these incidents and the motivations of the people involved. Maybe wait for an investigation to be done.

by Anonymous | reply 84 | January 2, 2025 4:16 PM |
Of course Mango Mussolini ranted and raved in a tweet last night that the CIA needs to be involved, the country is a shithole due to Democrats, etc.
I think he will use incidents like this to try and get the military/national guard out on the streets of America.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | January 2, 2025 5:06 PM |
R85 With any luck they'll be deployed in vehicles designed by Musk, then we can use sand and hay to thwart the planned martial state.
by Anonymous | reply 86 | January 2, 2025 5:13 PM |
Some National Guardsmen were deployed in NOLA last night, R85.

Daily beast reported that bomber was a big trump supporter
by Anonymous | reply 89 | January 2, 2025 7:38 PM |
From the DM:
His uncle Dean Livelsberger told The Independent that his nephew was '100 percent a patriot', and described him as a 'Rambo-type.'
'He used to have all patriotic stuff on Facebook, he was 100 percent loving the country,' he continued. 'He loved Trump, and he was always a very, very patriotic soldier, a patriotic American. It’s one of the reasons he was in Special Forces for so many years. It wasn’t just one tour of duty.'
by Anonymous | reply 90 | January 2, 2025 7:41 PM |
True patriots blow up themselves and trucks!
by Anonymous | reply 91 | January 2, 2025 7:42 PM |
Strange way to demonstrate your allegiance to Trump.

by Anonymous | reply 96 | January 2, 2025 8:24 PM |
I think the guy p loved Trump, but may have realized that Trump is now Elon's little bitch and Elon views Americans as stupid. In turn the guy felt betrayed.
by Anonymous | reply 97 | January 2, 2025 8:51 PM |
I wish more of these MAGAtards would demonstrate their patriotism by shooting themselves after blowing up their nazi Tesla cars.
by Anonymous | reply 98 | January 2, 2025 8:55 PM |
I don't get what this person hoped to accomplish. It doesn't seem to have done much except be a spectacle. This veteran died, to explode a Cybertruck, and not well? Why outside Trump casino, it didn't do anything to the casino. And proved that the Cybertruck holds up. FAIL.
by Anonymous | reply 99 | January 2, 2025 8:55 PM |
A power move message from Lex Luthor to incoming Mayor Buck Sackett.
by Anonymous | reply 100 | January 2, 2025 9:32 PM |
That's it. I'm selling my cybertruck. Now I have to find somewhere to store my fireworks and gasoline.
by Anonymous | reply 101 | January 2, 2025 9:36 PM |
It’s not a casino. It’s a condo/hotel/timeshare.
by Anonymous | reply 102 | January 2, 2025 9:37 PM |

He was a green beret. Another muscle head incel who worshipped trimp
by Anonymous | reply 104 | January 2, 2025 10:44 PM |
Not quite incel. He was married to a very attractive woman.
by Anonymous | reply 105 | January 2, 2025 10:55 PM |
Not anymore, r105
by Anonymous | reply 106 | January 3, 2025 12:31 AM |
Green Beret or no, what a humiliating way to die: roasted in an over-price, giant Easy Bake oven while trying to get across a message you thought was important enough for a terror attack, ending up being so poorly planned/executed that you just look like a dumbass.
by Anonymous | reply 107 | January 3, 2025 12:32 AM |
We still don’t know WHAT “the message” was, either, r107.
by Anonymous | reply 108 | January 3, 2025 12:39 AM |
This warms my cold heart. I hope it doesn't negatively impact business at Trump's failed Las Vegas property! That would be awful.

Grade A nuts. Not sure if this has been confirmed or not. The Shoemate guy is retired Army intelligence. He said he's turned enail it over to the FBI. From the DM so of course probably unconfirmed.
The email sent to Shoemate, claiming to be from Livelsberger, made even more fanciful claims and portents of doom.
'What we have been seeing with 'drones' is the operational use of gravatic (sic) propulsion systems powered aircraft by most recently China in the east coast, but throughout history, the US. Only we and China have this capacity,' the email read.
'China has been launching them from the Atlantic from submarines for years, but this activity recently has picked up.
'As of now, it is just a show of force and they are using it similar to how they used the balloon for sigint (signals intelligence) and isr (Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance), which are also part of the integrated comms system.
'There are dozens of those balloons in the air at any given time.
'The so what is because of the speed and stealth of these unmanned AC, they are the most dangerous threat to national security that has ever existed.
'They basically have unlimited payload capacity and can park it over the [White House] if they wanted. It's checkmate.
'USG needs to give the history of this, how we are employing it and weaponizing it, how China is employing them and what the way forward is.
The email supposedly from Livelsberger also claimed he was being 'followed' by authorities because he helped cover up 'war crimes' in Afghanistan.
'I've been followed for over a week now from likely homeland or FBI, and they are looking to move on me and are unlikely going to let me cross into Mexico, but won't because they know I am armed and I have a massive VBIED,' it claimed.
'I've been trying to maintain a very visible profile and have kept my phone and they are definitely digitally tracking me.'

by Anonymous | reply 124 | January 3, 2025 10:19 PM |
It wouldn't surprise me if at least half the MAGAts believe this crap wholeheartedly. The movement attracts so much mental illness. Guy was probably experiencing PTSD and being dumped by his wife was the final straw.
Very narcissistic "Look at me suicide." "I'm not someone who couldn't deal with life's problems and couldn't ask for help and left an 8 month old behind and injured 7 bystanders and put the nation on edge. No, siree I'm not a terrorist. I'm a patriot and hero until the end." He had to let us know it wasn't a run-of-the-mill suicide." Special 'til the end.
We can only be grateful he didn't get to his next assignment/deployment.
