Forty-nine percent of independents think former president Donald Trump should end his presidential campaign in the wake of his felony conviction, according to a new poll.

The poll, from Morning Consult, found that 15 percent of Republicans believe Trump should drop out of the race now that he’s been convicted on 34 felony counts for falsifying business records.

I have not seen them in CT but I've noticed people who talked about Trump frequently have been quiet. There's a group of people I've run into at a coffee house in the morning or later at restuarant who always want to go off on a rant about Biden but they haven't brought up politics recently. They tend to be older and 3-4 have passed away since the last election.

I don't see any Trump signs either but it could be too early. Some voters don't get engaged until a couple months out from the election and every other ad on tv is a political ad.

None of the people around here that had Trump signs out in 2020 have them out this time.
