R81 I'm honestly pretty pleased with the way Joe's first Broadway musical role is set up. He's a significant supporting character so he gets a big number but won't be destroyed vocally by his run on the show, he's not originating the role so he doesn't have to worry about the pressure of awards season, the onus of ticket sales doesn't fall on him, etc. It's just a really good way to start off. He'll get to enjoy himself with a normal amount of pressure put on him, pretty much all of the pluses and none of the negatives.

I actually went through the Pride threads the other day (do not recommend it at all), and it was so bad. Between Twitter being unusable and the way the first wave of videos that came out were all Bash being insufferable and Joe being uncomfortable, it was not a fun time. Even Tobie and Kit caught strays because the videos and pictures of them with Joe came out later. (The strays seems to come from one person having a meltdown, though, most people tried keeping a cool head about it.)
