It's hard for me to imagine someone else in that part, in their age range, that would check off all of the boxes Kit does. Chemistry with Joe, physical resemblance to Teddy, acting ability above and beyond that of the rest of his peers (minus Joe) and that compliments Joe's acting, etc. For any other project Joe needs a love interest for, there's a much wider net.

I think Kit is amazing, but while kit is a phenomenal talent and his career is off to a great start, Paul mescal was a BAFTA and Olivier winner and an Oscar and mainstream Emmy nominee when he declined marvel. Kit being on west end is fantastic, and winning the children’s Emmy is great, but he is not on that level yet. I think he’d be interested in seeing a whole script and understanding a vision for teddy, and making sure he’s not just a boring boyfriend, but marvel firstly seems to be launching each young avenger separately (so he would probably get a decent standalone storyline) and is getting really good at recruiting prestige actors.
