I decided to go to TikTok because twitter is down. After watch about 30 videos taken by fans along the parade route, I’m way less worried. It looks like Joe and Kit were intentionally on opposite sides of the float so that people on both sides of the street would see at least one of them. Joe was mostly with Tobie, Alice, and Kizzy. And he did appear to be enjoying himself a lot of the time. I think Bash was mainly near Kit intentionally so that we wasn’t near Joe.

R253 honestly my philosophy right now is that todsy sucked for joe but this was necessary in a few ways.

1. I again cannot believe I’m saying this, but Patrick and Alice seemed to notice and make a concerted effort to be nice to Joe. I unfortunately do think bash is going to be in season three, but my hope is that after this, they’ll do the work to at least make sure the intimacy coordinator has tough talks with him about acting decent, and they plan out the filming in a way to make this as palatable and easy as possible for Joe. Ideally, they just get filming done in a few days at the beginning and give Joe a long weekend just sort of recover after.

That’s not to say that wealth isn’t a huge advantage. with his complete lack of talent, Bash certainly wouldn’t be an actor without expensive lessons and his daddy‘s pocketbook. But it shows that after 10 years of the most expensive lessons, professional experience on stage and screen, voice lessons, playing multiple instruments, having PR, a good agency, and a modeling agency, Joe acted circles around him, two years younger with zero professional experience, and the rather limited experience of Isle of Man community productions. I actually have higher hopes for the acting all around this time. Even in the two minutes we saw, Joe went from very good his first season esp for being brand new to extremely natural and believable. Kit is obviously great. Based on booking more work, I believe Will has improved too. Tobie looks better than bash was s1 so step up. Even in the one second clip we saw, cori looked good. I still want it focused on nick and Charlie but at least the supporting acting has likely improved.

It’s not a coincidence Amazon prime plucked three young actors from three different shows and different demographics. It’s 100% trying to use that Fanbase to promote. So in addition to getting more Heartstopper clout than he should because of Joe, he’s booking other jobs because of him. 2. In addition to already being prepared to minimize or cut Ben’s role post break up simply because it’s a super minor arc in comparison to the leads, it’s also not as though bash and Ben are without their controversies. While I agree that the Twitter fanbase does not represent the majority, it’s certainly a vocal minority. And I don’t think even the Instagram or TikTok fans would be overly upset that Ben was written out. No one would boycott the show because the character who assaulted the main character is no longer in it. The people who like him primarily like him because of Kit and joe. But, alas, I’m sure he’ll be in season three and make it his mission to make Joe‘s life on set those days shit.

Now it’s back to complete insanity & frankly quite ridiculous levels of vitriol based solely on assumptions of how a relationship ended. People break up, shit happens. Joe could have cheated on him for all we know. Bash could justifiably be the hurt party in all of this & just trying to get over it. We literally have no fucking clue. Yesterday was likely really awkward for all of them & they did the best option possible by standing at opposite sides and letting their joint friends drift between them. I saw their float yesterday & Kit was literally stood with his arm round Bash & they were chatting & laughing together. They looked very comfortable & friendly.
