Bash like many people is probably different around different people or groups. Not even in a two faced way, just in the sense that he blends in with the energy he’s around a bit. So Joe is low key and polite, whereas maybe the group he’d go out with from the film were more obnoxious.

Just in general he doesn't seem like the brightest person in the world and doesn't see the big picture. Bash was in a relationship with Joe for two years but that isn't stopping him from bitching about Joe to all his close friends which leads to them unfollowing Joe. He's also being cold towards the ones who are taking a neutral stand in this like Kit and is shading Joe through break up song lyrics. So we really don't know these people. Especially Bash.

Bash not liking one post of Kit’s doesn’t equal him being cold to Kit. There’s so much reaching going on. If he ignores all Kit’s posts going forward, then probably.

I’m expecting them to give a few Pride related speeches at the Trafalgar Square stage before showing the S2 teaser. As for the parade itself, last year it was a big group all walking together and we saw very cute candid moments throughout the day. This year the parade will likely be similar, a big group walking. Maybe they’ll have a float, but they aren’t going to squeeze 20 people onto a float. If there is a float there will probably be more people walking behind.

This year we know Joe, Kit, Will, Tobie, Cori, Kizzy, Bradley, Alice. Plus probably other friends/family. It will be a big group again. The only difference will be Joe and Kit on stage sharing the s2 teaser instead of Tobie saying a quick “Happy Pride”.

Most of the minor cast are queer. If they want to participate in Pride, they should be allowed to. Bradley and other minor cast members being there doesn’t do anything to detract from your favorites. The fact this is being hyped as a Heartstopper event actually significantly increases the likelihood that Kit carries Joe the entire time.

To be clear when I say this I’m not suggesting bash is a psychotic menace, just being a bitchy ex. But everything we’ve seen the past few days especially has spoken to people having to really placate him. Th cast being so over the top nice after noticeable silence on his prior post, joe liking his post even after he’d been a total dick the day before, Emily unfollowing when she clearly has no issue with joe. it seems like he’s lashing out and being pretty aggressive about being anti joe and Joe is trying to be the bigger person and placate him and encouraging the cast to do so. And before someone calls this projection - maybe! If Im wrong and he shows up Saturday and is completely pleasant to joe, I will fully admit that on here and be glad I was wrong

Up until a month ago, I was definitely a Bash fan. I agree with the general consensus that he is currently digging his own grave and acting like an idiot. But I also think we are projecting a lot. We don't know why Emily unfollowed. A lot of the things we keep highlighting would look like absolutely nothing completely on their own. All together, they definitely paint a picture of Bash being petty. But I still don't think he's a bad person, just selfish and not handling this breakup as well as he could. I still have hope he can pull his head out of his ass and be professional if not friendly by the time s3 filming starts. I also think there is about a 50% chance Bash shows up at London Pride. Seeing how Joe and Bash interact in a large group setting like that will tell us a lot about the chances of a future friendship. Joe is definitely acting more mature about everything, but I'm not ready to completely jump on the Bash is evil bandwagon.

R153 it’s one post most of the cast haven’t shared or liked. Kit was clearly online when it went up because he liked it immediately but it’s basically just him and Tobie (and Alice liking everything). It seems well within the margin of something Kit wouldn’t have liked awhile ago but YMMV. It’s not like he doesn’t care about the show - he wouldn’t post Kit if he didn’t. Give the very newly broken up guy a break for a minute.

I can see some of it being Joe needed to separate HS from Bash in his mind. But I also wonder how much Joe is really excited about his Marvel stuff, which makes him slightly less excited about Heartstopper. Being active on sm in general is good PR for the show. Going to DC Pride, PFW, and London Pride are all good promo for the show. I'm sure he'll have lots of interviews and other PR events in the coming month. But Joe isn't going out of his way to like/share every little HS thing the way he did with s1. He didn't like Tudum, he hasn't liked this Pride announcement. Basically, Joe has a career regardless of Heartstopper's season 2 success. And he probably has very mixed feelings about if he even wants it to be renewed for a 4th season.
