Will I die?
My A/C is broken and it's currently 30.5 degrees in my house.

Hopefully

You're not nice, R1.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | June 3, 2023 6:46 PM |
Well you should take precautions. 32˚ and 40˚C can produce issue. Take cool showers. Wear a wet t-shirt. If you have a fridge and freezer you should be blowing air over cold bottle and bowls of ice.

If a tramp like you bothers to wear panties, put them in the freezer overnight to chill your overheated pussy.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | June 3, 2023 6:48 PM |
30.5C is only 86 Fahrenheit. What are you worried about ?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | June 3, 2023 6:52 PM |
[quote]30.5 degrees
I want to strangle you.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | June 3, 2023 6:55 PM |
I usually keep my house at 24, R5.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | June 3, 2023 9:03 PM |
I smell grease fire.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | June 3, 2023 9:43 PM |
I fit's 30.5 degrees, you don't need an air conditioner, you need a heater.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | June 3, 2023 9:45 PM |
Op, is that 30.5 F or C. You forgot to mention it. If it’s C, you’re fuck.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | June 3, 2023 9:45 PM |
OP, you left yourself wide open.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | June 3, 2023 9:58 PM |
Give him a break, r11. He's airing "it" out.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | June 3, 2023 10:03 PM |
can I have your stuff??
by Anonymous | reply 13 | June 3, 2023 10:06 PM |
I just checked, now it's 32.
I'm mellllllting. Melllllting.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | June 3, 2023 10:07 PM |
30.5 degrees?
Hell!!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 15 | June 3, 2023 10:07 PM |
Everyone should have a small window-mounted air conditioner for just such an occasion (and a small quartz heater for such an event in the winter)...it won't cool/heat your whole place, but if you sit right in front of it, you can survive...and at least sleep...
by Anonymous | reply 16 | June 3, 2023 10:08 PM |
Yes, R16. That's a good idea. Wish I would have thought of it before.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | June 3, 2023 10:10 PM |
I think you should invite the OP over who kept his apartment 77-78 °F for his guest.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | June 3, 2023 10:12 PM |
Switch the fan on, you pussy.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 4, 2023 2:39 AM |
Blocks of ice in front of a fan helps.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 4, 2023 2:50 AM |
When I lived in America, I cooled with a window unit air conditioner.
I always kept a spare. A new air conditioner still in the box ready to go in case the one I had in the window gave out.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 4, 2023 2:55 AM |
Is OP some dumb Canadian?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 4, 2023 3:03 AM |
Is this Celsius? Is OP’s air conditioner running non-stop like in “The Golden Girls” and he’s freezing to death?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | June 4, 2023 3:05 AM |
OP, you must not live in Palm Springs.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | June 4, 2023 3:13 AM |
How hard is it to put in a window air conditioner?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | June 4, 2023 4:42 AM |
It takes all of 15 minutes. It's dead simple.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | June 4, 2023 4:50 AM |
OP’s brain is also broken.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | June 4, 2023 4:53 AM |
Get used to it, that's what hell feels like, it's where you'll be going.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | June 4, 2023 5:12 AM |
Update, OP?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | June 5, 2023 1:04 AM |
I have COPD and 86 would be terrible for me. The warmest I can handle is 72. I usually keep my house temp around 69 all year around.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | June 5, 2023 1:09 AM |
Fingers crossed, OP.
You deserve it all!!!
by Anonymous | reply 31 | June 5, 2023 1:14 AM |
It's now 31, R29.
A/C is being fixed tomorrow, thankfully. For now I'm sitting in front of a fan and eating ice cream.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | June 5, 2023 1:23 AM |
I think only smaller window units work off a standard household electric outlet with perhaps a dedicated circuit.
Be sure to investigate because the wrong choice can be dangerous.

What on earth would temps have to do with COPD?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | June 5, 2023 1:37 AM |
I have central air, R33.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | June 5, 2023 1:37 AM |
Is COPD the new fibromyalgia?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | June 5, 2023 2:53 AM |
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. COPD. Easier to breathe in cooler temps. Hot humid temps are difficult. People with lung disease struggle.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | June 5, 2023 3:04 AM |
Doncha have a fan?
by Anonymous | reply 38 | June 5, 2023 3:14 AM |
In my day, we endured so much more.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | June 5, 2023 3:15 AM |

So just another weekend isn't it, OP?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | June 5, 2023 3:30 AM |
OP, it's not "broken" if the utility company shuts it down for non-payment.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | June 5, 2023 3:31 AM |
It's just the A/C itself, R41.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | June 5, 2023 2:29 PM |
You know, as an eldergay, I was thinking about my childhood at Granny's. We had no air conditioning back then. In fact Granny was one of the last hold out She still had a coal furnace. When I was a toddler I can remember going down stairs to watch Grandpa shovel coal into the furnace and the huge pile of coal in the coalbin when the coal man delivered it. Then she upgraded to an oil f urnace. I know. but no air conditioning ever. Just these huge floor fans.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | June 6, 2023 8:49 PM |
How old are you, R43?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | June 6, 2023 9:37 PM |
Where do you live that is 30°C? It's not US since you are using Celsius and we had rain and cold weather in most of Europe for the last few days. So..?
by Anonymous | reply 45 | June 6, 2023 9:49 PM |
It wasn't 30C where I live, R45, it was 36 with the humidity when my AC went on the fritz. Today it's cooled down to 32 and my ac was finally fixed yesterday!!
by Anonymous | reply 46 | June 6, 2023 9:52 PM |
The air conditioner at my job has been broken for the last week! It was supposed to be fixed on Friday, five fucking days ago, and it's still off.
The dress code has been thrown out for the duration.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | June 7, 2023 12:18 AM |
R47 - No AC at work? Isn't that against the law? My job would send us home to work.
