As others have said it gets engagement, and Joe already has a way bigger project than Heartstopper lined up next so I certainly hope he's not sitting and comparing their birthday posts the way we have time to. I’m sure Netflix will spend more on promoting heartstopper S2. It was too late for the US by the time they started noticing that the show was popular everywhere else. They use algorithms to promote shows on the site and all of that but now I’m sure this time they will get interviews, late night show (even YR got a good one), the netflix algorithm and social media posts. It’s all on Alice now, that she knows that it’s all about nick and charlie and not anything else.

Yeah, I’m sure they all like each other and get on but there seems to be a noticeable split of close friend groups. You’ve got Joe/Kit/Bash/Will, who I’m assuming are the only four involved in the Come Dine with Me parties? Tobie is occasionally a part of that group. Then there’s Cori, Leila and Brad, maybe Rhea. Kizzy and Yaz seem the most separate and seem to mostly hang out with other friends.

Joe's message for Kit was very sweet. It must feel weird for them to be apart for so long. I don't think they will have that cocoon they had with the rest of the cast anymore. With all of them being so busy and Joe's role in Marvel, they will have less time to see each other.

I think either way kind of a win; either it’s not released and Kit is saved from a cringe film, or it’s released and he gets praise for carrying it and being charming and likable anyway. Thinking of, and this is a weird example, Dylan O’Brien carrying Teen Wolf on his back and doing the only quality acting. The show especially in later seasons was crap but in a sense his performance impressed people more because he did so well in such a shit show.

It’s a boring book with a slow burn and unrealistic ending, but Kit seems a pretty good match for Orion.
