When you go to his account you can see he doesn’t have one linked so therefore it’s fake. No accidental bi femboy kit leaks sorry to say.

R15 Yeah, that was a special day. I also think it was a majorly bonding day for Kit and Joe - obviously the show coming out and the crazy fame bonded them too, but it was specifically at and after Pride that I noticed a significant difference in their closeness.

With reference to the Japan location how accurate is it? Wasn’t there other examples where the locations given clearly aren’t the current one?

I would love him to be holidaying in Japan even more if Joe’s got a week filming break and is there with him. I know he is one of the leads but surely he can’t be filming every day for five months without a break scheduled somewhere. It would also seem odd that given their propensity to spend every minute they can together regardless of air miles and with a separation of up to two months pending Bash would chose to spend one of his last free weeks holidaying elsewhere instead of with Joe

R37 It's not accurate is this thing, but it's weird. Just an example, since I know she does her own IG, but Lizzo has been in the UK for a month and her account is still based in the US. It's not something that changes often and has nothing to do with the person's current actual location. Joe's says the US since he's been there for months. We know Bash couldn't have been there more than a couple weeks. And pretty much every celeb is probably in LA right now and it hasn't changed their location.

Japan is about a 20 hour flight and a 13 hour time difference from Atlanta. His schedule seems exhausting, if he did have a few days off I really doubt he’d travel that far.

Seems way too big of a story for a TV show, but could basically be the Wanda movie people are hinting out that is going to happen. Wanda and Billy are the MC's (poor unloved tommy). Joe would get to be a spunky little twink who everyone carries around and tries to kidnap, to starting a whole ass war to becoming a depressed hobo. The range. I have a vague memory of Alice saying she didn't want to shy away from Nick and Charlie being physically affectionate/intimate on the show. Unfortunately, I think the show's success at the Emmys means they'll keep it mostly chaste so they can continue being eligible at that ceremony. Alice was never going to illustrate Nick sucking on Charlie’s neck in great detail, not sure why anyone would take that to mean much, or think she’d argue with the intimacy coordinator. The show’s not going to be Young Royals, the target audience is younger obviously, but Joe and Kit have good chemistry and their kisses in season 1, though pretty innocent, felt natural and passionate to me. If the show follows the comic we’ll get the hickey scene, and Charlie slamming Nick against the wall a couple times in season 2, so… slightly more heated. Charlie’s ED and self harm made sense and the resolution was “optimistic” but also plausible; Nick telling off his dad and brother too. But now he’s too emotional to have sex? I don’t see much optimism in all that

At the end of the day, it's a bit frustrating that the comics/show are very PG, but it's clearly written for a family/younger audience overall. The characters are 15/16 but in reality they're actually more like 13/14 in terms of experience. This is good in a sense because it means that families will let their younger children watch it without worrying about sex scenes etc, and this is something that just absolutely wouldn't have happened up until recently. Kids and younger teens having a safe, queer show to watch is invaluable. There are plenty of adult queer shows/films available if that's what people are looking for.

R169 Yeah the complaints feel somewhat silly to me, it’s a series for young queer teens and tweens to watch with their parents. There aren’t many of them out there. Obviously it’s attracted an older fanbase too, but don’t really get expecting it to be something it isn’t.

I'm probably the only person not super phased by how slowly they're moving. They've been together for a bit over a year, but one of them was hospitalized for months during that year and has self-esteem and body issues because of an eating disorder and an abusive relationship. Not to get too personal on here, but I had an eating disorder in high school, and it really did fuck with me when it came to pushing myself to fuck, even with a really active libido, so I get why it's harder for Charlie to take that step. The adult gay teachers also immediately sleep together before they even start dating and it’s never implied to be a mistake.

Tbf it was more important for Joe to branch out quickly than the others since he didn't have any previous work. The play was a good introduction for him to the world of theater and he was able to make new connections. The others like Kit and Bash don't have that pressure to branch out as much as their CVs are already filled with various performances. Unrelated, but BAFTA nominations are on the 22nd. It's a partially juried award and the system is a little weird. For individual performers, the top 6 go through to the jury via membership vote, but broadcasters (like BBC, Netflix) can put forward 2 people per category if they're from an underrepresented group (which Kit and Joe both qualify as based on their sexual orientations). It's been so long since the show aired that the chances aren't exactly great, but it's worth keeping an eye out for.

Kit being up for these awards makes sense to me. For better or worse, he had one of the most high-profile coming outs in ages, especially for a bisexual man. His coming out also triggered a pretty big discussion on representation, queerbaiting, and the like. And he's talked about bisexual representation, especially as it pertains to bisexual men, multiple times (including before he came out). I want to be clear that this is in no way me trying to quantify his impact and put it up against that of any other cast member. If anything, Joe should be up there with him and it shouldn't be one or the other.

It caused some offence when I said this before but I will try to explain again to me Kit is more feminine than Joe or Bash, he has a soft pretty face, small features and a gentle demeanour while Joe and Bash are unmistakably masculine with strong features and looks. Both play with external gender norms in how they express themselves and both are what would traditionally be referred to as camp but that is different to being feminine. They are in one sense very typical gay men and by suggesting that makes them innately feminine implies that being gay makes you less of a man when it absolutely does not. It is a variant of masculinity but completely male. Yet at the same time to a casual eye neither of them can really hide whereas Kit passes more as straight

I think it's important to note that Joe seems to be a lot less talkative in interviews since the show came out. Even when the interviewer asks him a question directly, his answers are short. I assume it has to do with people picking apart everything he says. I would love for them to interview each other. I'm sure they would do a better job.
