R2, That's not true. I know some Z listers that do.

And if they do, it's because DL has some serious Google juice and shows up pretty high in search rankings.

It is how I first stumbled on the site.

I wouldn’t be surprised if young celebrities who enjoy seeking out their names on every corner of the internet land here.

Most celebrities do google themselves. If there's talk about them online, they'll end up here to read about themselves.

There's just not really much chance a celebrity will post here anymore, not with the kind of trolling that goes on, they wouldn't want to be caught on a board where Matt A. is posting racist slurs for six hours straight until someone finally stops him.

Also you can't even post on DL until you visit for two weeks OR pay to post. This isn't the same place it was back when celebrities allegedly posted here.

It is his choice, but imo, it isn't wise for him to post publicly.

C-List Actor overshares to the point that sometimes I think maybe it's not him, but someone pretending to be him.

I'd actually like to believe that, r14, but c-list actor been at this too long. He still posts here and on the other 2 boards I mentioned. He has for years. He talks about how he was groomed and abused as a young man. He famously had a meltdown on ATC over Alice Ripley "grooming" a fan a year or so ago.

Oh, that's right, I'd forgotten about the Ripley thing. He does really need to take a step back sometimes.

I worked with him briefly on Broadway, r16. He seemed like a decent guy - but yeah, I know he's a big boy, but the over-sharing is a little concerning.

Lydia Cornell posted here a few years ago, in response to some really weird porn-type post about Too Close For Comfort -- laughing about it. People didn't think it was really her...but it was.

I don't know who any of these people are.

You can tell when an up and coming actor, closeted guy, or semi-closeted fag is curious to see what DL thinks of him. Same goes for the promotion of a movie/tv show, or product by some PR/marketing drone. The best is when DL is ahead of the curve in solving murder mysteries, break ups, leaked nudes, and coming out stories.

I love Lydia Cornell. She's single-handedly keeping TCFC alive -- posting about it on Twitter, letting people where it's airing/streaming, etc. She refuses to let it be forgotten!!

I have no idea what TCFC stands for, please use your words. Not everyone is glued to their televisions watching every program.

I can't stand when people use abbreviations and initials. This isn't Idolforums, your post can be longer than five words.

I’ve been here for 20-ish years, and it’s changed of course. Used to feel like it was my own little piece of the internet but the trolling has gotten pretty annoying and changed the flavor.

I still love visiting here. It's a place I feel comfortable talking about my love of men!

Yeah Matt went for a while saying he was black, then saying his particular flavor of Judaism made him black, then he started posting racist stuff against black people. One day he was posting the n-word all over the place. I have no idea what's going on in his head.

There are a few celebrities who have been known to come here and have identified themselves, like Deidre Hall and Meryl Streep. And I think Princess Anne sometimes comes here to lurk.

Rosie O'Donnell visited here a few times until she read some negative posts about herself. She mentioned DL on her blog and also in an interview, I think.

The composer Marc Shaiman was an authenticated poster years ago, but he left after the widespread criticism of the Hairspray musical movie. Coincidentally, Rosie said on her radio show at the time that she called Marc after the premiere weekend and said, "Can you believe what they did to your show?" and he hung up and never spoke to her again.

Nobody knows who posts and/or lurks here. I know a lot of DLers think they're master sleuths and crime solvers, but tracking ISPs and matching them up with celebrities is not something that's going on.
