It's that time of year again! Time to nominate the best of Datalounge by naming/quoting the best threads and posts of the past year.
For best thread, I have to nominate Goodbye to my Friends/Fiends in all its incarnations. Real or EST, it has brought out the best in our fellow loungers.
For best individual post there are SO many to choose from, but I've finally settled on a recent one that still makes me smile (guiltily) ever time: R58's "Powder-Blue Sweater Vest is fuming with internal rage at not being a principal player in the ménage a 2.5." from Groom kisses another man at his wedding to little woman bride.

I'm loving the current thread about George Santos, or whatever his name is. This fat greasy fuck is exactly what DL was built to mock. He's hard to look at, utterly vacant as a person, and his life is 100% fiction, yet he still hasn't been brought back down to the gutter with the rest of us.
I also nominate the various threads where you drunken harlots read "Greg" for filth over his pretentious and gassy Thanksgiving recipes.
And speaking of food, the endless thread about TV dinner snobbery was good DL chatter. Seeing you all coat your "good taste" in cheap starchy frozen foods brings me joy.
