I looked really great at 53, too. I had gained a lot of weight in a short period of time (4 years) and then I lost it over about 18 months. That loss included a real workout routine every day during the last half of the loss. I had never had such toned legs or arms in my life - I'm a female. So looking great at 53 is entirely doable. The only thing you don't lose are your boobs - they kind of sag. LOL They never go back so you need a push-up bra to go along with the rest of your fabulous self.

Now, unlike Ms. Aniston, I did this while working incredibly long and hard hours at work and with no paid entourage to cook for me or whip me into shape. I didn't even go to a gym - I just used video cassette, weights and a mirror. And definitely no airbrushing. But Italians don't need that - we age slowly.

But good for her. I wish I had a tenth of her wealth.

I am a scarily pale white lady. My ilk usually ages like milk. However, for some strange reason, I looked my best in my early fifties and I recall thinking "Gee, getting old isn't that bad. I'm doing rather well!" However, once I hit sixty, the aging process accelerated at an alarming rate. Now, at sixty-five, I am no longer smug. Beauty is external but not eternal. Anyway, she looks very good. I won't deny that. But those clothes. Ugh. They are just desperately sad and undignified. She would look much better dressed as a grown-up.

She wasn’t really chubby. Just a bit too much fat around her hips. She’s always had great legs. I remember first seeing her in some comedy sketch show that I can’t remember the name of. She was very funny.

I think her face is starting to look a wee bit strange. I can’t tell what it is that is that she has done to make it look that way. Maybe a little too much filler? I would imagine that when you have access to every conceivable anti aging laser and non surgical treatment out there you start to maybe think you’ll never have to contend with any overt signs of aging, but that can lead to doing too much and no longer looking natural.

I dont think she really wanted kids with Brad. She said many times around the divorce that she was too focused on her "career". She may have tried IVF 10 years ago but she wouldve been early 40s then. She could have adopted or gone the surrogate route too. i’m confused by the seeming lack of awareness in regards to the massive amounts of photoshop and video filtering/editing that celebrities enjoy, on top of their inevitable plastic surgery, injections, and ludicrously expensive beauty regimens.

Honestly, I don’t think her diet and exercise routine is so punishing. Maybe I’m naïve. Not saying it was a walk in the park, but other than getting asked about it in interviews and stuff, she didn’t seem to have this neurotic obsessive vibe about it.

For example, we all know that Madonna worked out very intensely and her diet was very strict. Or that Kelly Ripa barely eats anything or that actress over there works out twice a day and so on. Maybe that is part of Jennifer’s image, to make it seem like being in shape isn’t this big deal. I don’t know.
