Holy shit! What a wild-ass series! We've just started Season 4 and are thoroughly addicted.
We particularly like the way they have portrayed Deran--the gay brother. About as non-stereotypical as you can get, just as tough as shit as his brothers are. His sex scenes are straightforward and sexy, and I love the way his brothers (and mother) are totally accepting.
And Ellen Barkin (Smurf) rocks!
Anyone else love this series?

I just discovered the series and OP is correct it rocks, Ellen Barkin is bad ass in that series and totally caught off guard about the gay subplot that starts in about the 3rd or 4th episode in the first season. Lots of rear male nudity of all the brothers. The twink comes to live with them is cute too. All the men have nice bodies.

So this was based off a true story but they left out the sexual molestation from the mother? I was wondering why Ellen Barkin character was always trying to have a conversion with the 17 year old Twink in the shower. Nice touch.
