I ate a chicken salad with spinach, kale, feta cheese, quinoa, tomatoes and corn that I bought from this place I like. I washed it down with a Diet Coke because I was craving one all day.
What did you eat for dinner tonight? Friday, 9/16/22

Chicken cesar salad. Tho i added spinach, cherry tomatoes and feta cheese. Came out pretty good.

We have Mexican take-out on Friday nights. Tonight. we're having a carnitas burrito with sour cream and chopped iceberg lettuce and avocado. YUM!
by Anonymous | reply 2 | September 17, 2022 2:39 AM |
Homemade breakfast burrito and tater tots
by Anonymous | reply 4 | September 17, 2022 3:10 AM |
OP, it looks like some Mexican came on top of it.

My family split a grub between the 8 of us.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | September 17, 2022 3:32 AM |
A simple sandwich, bbq chips and grapes since sometimes I eat like an elementary school kid. Grapes weren't great. Really hard to find crunchy grapes lately.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | September 17, 2022 3:39 AM |
Bad, dry tacos. I had a bottle of wine, which was better than any food so I’m ok
by Anonymous | reply 8 | September 17, 2022 3:39 AM |
R7 those types of dinners are my favorites sometimes
by Anonymous | reply 9 | September 17, 2022 3:41 AM |
I meant R6.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 17, 2022 3:43 AM |
R7, what was your "simple sandwich"? Peanut butter and jelly?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | September 17, 2022 3:48 AM |
Pastrami sandwich with a pickle.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 17, 2022 4:02 AM |
R7, I kept reading your post as “sometimes I like to eat an elementary school kid” and I was stymied as to the joke…
by Anonymous | reply 14 | September 17, 2022 4:04 AM |
Homemade cauliflower crust pizza 🍕 Not bad, still working on crunch factor.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | September 17, 2022 4:05 AM |
Supermarket sushi. And yes, it was exactly as bad as you're thinking. Bleh.
That salad looks good, OP.

London broil. Fresh Green Beans. Homemade Mashed Taters. Washing it down with Dt. Dew.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | September 17, 2022 4:14 AM |
R7, agree with you on grapes lately. The last good bag that I bought was about a month ago. When they're good, they're good. When they're bad, they're horrid.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | September 17, 2022 4:16 AM |
Salami sandwich.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | September 17, 2022 4:18 AM |
Taco Bell.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 17, 2022 9:07 AM |
Maruchan chicken ramen, embellished with shredded white meat chicken, golden hominy, chopped cilantro, and green chile powder.

Oddly enough, the grapes last winter were amazing…large and crispy. I eat them daily in the winter, but have been gorging myself on tomatoes and ripe peaches lately. Whole Foods has these tiny cherry tomatoes that taste like candy. I’m obsessed with them. I’m doing burgers, fresh corn, and a pear arugula and blue cheese salad tonight,
by Anonymous | reply 22 | September 17, 2022 4:39 PM |
Grilled chicken, with my improvised version of stovetop stuffing.

You gurls eating so elegantly put me to shame. I had half a Sainsbury's pizza - I added an egg and some grated cheese and garlic salt. It wasn't very nice.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 17, 2022 4:46 PM |
You put an egg on a pizza? What is wrong with you? Were you high?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 17, 2022 5:29 PM |
I had a tomato sandwich last night. Just tomato on white bread with lots of mayo but was delicious.

Don't worry about it. You're being honest. Many people aren't (honest).

R24 please. Thursday night I ate Wendy’s and the other night salami sandwiches lol. It’s not always salads or steaks.

One time I was stuck in a flyover town in England and the only decent place to eat was Pizza Express - I'd go there every night and have the pizza with egg and it was delicious. Maybe it's an Italian thing. I don't know.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 17, 2022 6:06 PM |
Egg on pizza is common in England.
R30 what does egg on pizza in England have to do with Italy?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | September 17, 2022 6:08 PM |
I said I don't know, that MAYBE it's an Italian thing.

I believe you can order it in Italy also, but I’ve never seen it there. But yes, in other parts of Europe like London.

by Anonymous | reply 39 | September 17, 2022 8:48 PM |
OP did you go to Cava?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | September 17, 2022 8:49 PM |
My Russian neighbor used to special order a coal fired pizza from the Italian restaurant near us. It had caramelized onions, ham, chopped up hard boiled eggs, sardines, and a ton of other weird toppings. It sounded gross, but it was absolutely amazing. The small pizza cost $30 because he had to pay per topping though.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | September 17, 2022 9:36 PM |
R40 yes. How did you know? Lol
by Anonymous | reply 42 | September 17, 2022 9:38 PM |
They put gay shit like corn on pizza in Dubai.
It’s fucking undignified.

R44 I love Wendy’s salads.
I had them for lunch yesterday, but their Chicken BLT sandwich (it’s delicious) with a small fries, a 4 piece nugget and strawberry frosty.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | September 17, 2022 9:55 PM |
I didn't know Wendy's had taco salads. The Taco Bell taco salad (RIP) looked better than the Wendy's. The closest Wendy's in my area is a little bit too out of the way. Growing up, there was a Wendy's close by and I did enjoy the chili, the Frosty, and would always order French fries to go with my chili.

Tons of Wendys closed down about a decade ago. I lived by 2 and both shut down. I have it now when I’m near one.

I picked up some sushi grade salmon at Whole Foods, so I’m doing Asian tonight. Japanese eggplant with a sweet sauce on the side, and a salad. I love eggplant, so I grew it in my garden this year, and have a ton. Unfortunately, it has tore my stomach up the last few times I had it. Must be all of the fiber.
