I had mental health issues in the past (bouts of depression well into my 20s) and I am still grateful for my friends who saw me through them and spent time with me when I couldn't be alone. I went to work during these times (the phases of depression lasted a couple of days at a time, never more than two weeks). It was very hard to work with other people when not crying non-stop was already an effort and while my heart rate was significantly elevated like stuck in a permanent, helpless panic. The attentiveness that was a requirement in my job took a massive effort to sustain. Depression feels like trying to hold shut a flood gate while you know that it's a matter of time before your arms will grow weaker and the waves will crush you and bury you. I never took any medication during those times, only beta blockers to help me sleep at all. What kept me from suicide was solely the confidence that it would pass like it always had, even if during these times, it didn't feel that way - and so I held on.

Anyway, it's all anecdotal evidence, of course, but I would never have subdued myself to a yacht holiday in this state. Even if the pictures are of course carefully curated, all I see is a guy having a good time. The 2010s have turned everything to shit, and words that used to mean something are used as a badge now, discrediting people who really suffer or suffered from mental health issues. Everyone claims to have mental health issues now, just as everyone seems to want to be autistic.
