He may have the same idea that I do, OP.

What's that, r1? That nobody will ever want you, so you may as well inflict that misery on everyone else?

If he does, the folks who out Quislings need to step up their game.

Lindsay is not even in the closet. There is no excuse for this except to signal where the republicans want to take us, as their endgame comes into view.
Not much longer now.

This vote will be a sight to behold.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | July 20, 2022 11:34 PM |
Democrats have stepped up the offense.
They have the republicans on record voting down inflation remedies, the right for women to control their owns lives and bodies and now the snubbing of middle/upper class gays.

There is a special place in hell for that one.

The republicans just lost the 1% of gays that were somewhat sympathetic to their propaganda/talking points.

Just because they are senators doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to be held accountable.

One of the better Lindsey Graham DL threads over the years: Let's be random sentences in a novel about Lindsey Graham.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | July 25, 2022 5:28 AM |
Ha ha, from that thread:
"As he approached the golf cart where the corpulent, wheezing former president sat, Lindsey regretted afresh that spitroasting incident of long ago. An hour of dirty, jizz-soaked glory caught secretly on video had forced him into humiliating service to this bloated, poisonous toad during what should have been his golden (shower) years."

Susan Collins is in support. But remember, the people of Maine voted FOR gay marriage at the ballot box...which never should happen...

I can’t believe this flaming, freeloading homosexual cut the rest of us off at the pass.
The absolute nerve of it all. The millions he has made off of the government for doing absolutely nothing. He’s been swimming in that swamp for 40 years and he can’t even manage to swish his way down to the senate floor and throw the rest of us gays a bone.

On this type of legislation, the closet cases always vote “no”. They identify themselves in doing so.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | July 25, 2022 7:45 AM |
Republicans have to be the dumbest group of people around. They definitely will not be taking back the Senate, thanks to nominating some of the worst candidates in history. Thank you Trump. Same thing for the House. Again, thank you Trump.
And voting against the gay marriage bill is just asinine. Who are they catering to? A very loud, stupid minority in their own party? And just no excuse for Graham.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | July 25, 2022 7:54 AM |
Too bad there isn't something that could convince Miss Lindsey 🤔

LG shows no ethics. He called the GA Sec. of State twice pressing for legal democratic votes to be tossed in behalf of Trump. Word has it he made such calls to other states.
Supposedly he can enjoy his own gay frolicking, but vote no on gay rights matters for decades. Calling himself a “lady” or “Lady G” doesn’t change who or what he is. If he embraces being a “lady”, that is trans and he votes in opposition to that population as well.
MAGAs don’t like him. He wins SC primaries because he gets extensive corporate donations and special interests money. His primary opponents have largely been extremists and nut cases.
LG is popular with a lot of Senate colleagues, including a bunch of Democrats. The media adores him. The public much less so. Taxpayers are paying for all his junkets.
When he ran for President in 2016, he could not muster 1% support. SC figures were hardly better.
If there was serious hanky-panky with elections, South Carolina is the place to start the scrutiny.

Louisiana Senator Kennedy at a time was a windsurfing pal of John Kerry. He has an elite education including study at Oxford. His speech was once way more sophisticated.
His deliberate drawl nowadays is aimed at connecting to his base of support in Louisiana. His political positions on social issues are primarily to appeal to evangelical MAGA voters. It’s inauthentic adaptation.
In reality, away from cameras and public forums, he is uppity and prissy.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | July 25, 2022 2:53 PM |
John Kennedy thinks he’s a stand up comedian. He must be a hit on the LA trailer park circuit.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | July 26, 2022 6:20 AM |
Doubt Kennedy socializes with any of the Louisiana MAGA base that are not rich or upper middle class. However, he tries to talk like them and pretend he’s their advocate. He’s in the pocket of powerful special interests as so many of his Senate colleagues are.

Twelve Republican senators voted for it. Their votes were needed to end filibuster so they were essential in the process.
Which shows Log Cabin Republicans are useful. They have always said they stay in the GOP to change Republican views. This is an instance where that was needed.
We cannot be only beholden to one party.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | December 1, 2022 11:02 AM |
We gave the Senate both Miss Graham and Miss Scott, who also voted no.

R52 that's an obvious and stupid observation. The point that those votes were needed to overcome filibuster. Do you actually understand that or how the Senate works? I guess you could say we should have zero Republicans. Do you want to wait for that day or do you want to change enough votes now to achieve a goal?
by Anonymous | reply 56 | December 2, 2022 12:25 AM |

Trump, Kavanaugh, Hannity, Herschel, & Joe Biggs.
First 4 are married & Joe is locked-up.
